UK authorities have been proudly telling anyone that will listen how well their vaccine roll out compares to the rest of the world. As of the 31st January we know, thanks to Matt Hancock constantly boasting about it on Twitter, that 8.3 million Brits have so far received at least one dose of the three Covid vaccines currently “on the market”. That’s 8.3 million Brits who have now taken part in what will be by its end the biggest human experiment the world has ever seen.

We’ve heard about the 29 confirmed and counting deaths in Norway due to the Pfizer vaccine, and we’ve seen the reports of medical professionals in the US becoming seriously ill and dropping dead after receiving one of the mRNA vaccines, whether it be the Pfizer or Moderna version. (If you haven’t heard then you can read all about it here). Which is why we find it extremely concerning that there has been an extreme rise in care home deaths in the last couple of weeks, all being blamed on Covid-19 but all of them also vaccinated this month.

Pemberley House care home in Basingstoke, Hampshire has reported the deaths of 24 of its residents in the past two weeks, with an alleged 22 of those following a positive SARS-CoV-2 test. That is one third of their total residents who have sadly passed away and one thing they all had in common was that they had all received their first dose of a Covid vaccine.

A spokesman for Hampshire County Council was also quick to quash any questions surrounding the safety of the Covid vaccines by saying “It is important to make clear that protection from the vaccine takes time to build and it is imperative therefore that anyone who has had the jab continues to closely follow the ‘hands face space’ guidance, as well as any guidance for their occupational role, to protect themselves and others.”

That is just one example of an unexpected outbreak in care home deaths, but the picture for the entire country looks bleak as can be seen via official ONS data. On the 17th January 2021 there were 174 deaths across all care homes in England. But fast forward 24 hours to the 18th January and there were 952 deaths reported across England. That is a huge leap.

The UK began its vaccination program on the 8th December 2020, and has set out to vaccinate the over-80’s and most vulnerable first. Since then 95% of all care home residents have been vaccinated. So what we should be seeing now is a reduction in Covid deaths in care homes. But we’re not.

Care home deaths that are allegedly due to Covid-19 have tripled since the beginning of January 2021. The week ending 1st January 2021 there were 661 reported care home deaths, allegedly due to Covid-19 (this just means they received a positive test for SARS-CoV-2 though and didn’t necessarily die from Covid-19). But as of the week ending 22nd January 2021 there have been 1,705 reported care home deaths, allegedly due to Covid-19.

Something doesn’t add up here, 95% of care home residents have been vaccinated yet alleged care home Covid deaths have increased by nearly 200%.

There are some serious questions to be answered, is it because the vaccines don’t work? Or is it the vaccines that are actually killing these elderly care home residents?

We know what our money’s on but we need more data to support our conclusion. We’ll be keeping an eye on the ONS data over the next couple of weeks and will update you when we can.
