Two Government contracts have recently been awarded for Covid-19 Certification/Passport MVP. See for yourself here.
One contract has been awarded to Netcompany, a Danish firm who describe themselves as “one of the most trusted digitalization partners for large enterprises and governments.”
The second contract has been awarded to The Hub, a London based firm who say “The Hub retains a founding mission to transform both companies as well as customers using the latest enabling digital technologies”. The Hub provide digital solutions for “Passenger Travel and Transit” and “Events and Venues”.
Both contracts have a very vague description which is to “Develop a negative Covid-19 test certification minimum viable product.” They were posted by the Department of Health who stated that “The Government wishes to enable workplaces, educational centres, health and social care services and places of business to open to members of the public who have tested negative for Covid-19”
It’s pretty clear that the Government now plans to introduce freedom passes to allow those who test negative or have had the vaccine to leave their home, go to work, travel, have fun. This means the Government now plants to make it illegal for those who refuse to take a test or refuse to have the vaccine to leave their home, go to work, travel and have fun. What better way to get a system comparable to that within the novel ‘1984’ than to employ a firm who already specialise in digital solutions for “Passenger Travel and Transit” and “Events and Venues”.
This all coincides with the announcement of new Tier 4 Guidelines which have effectively put over 20 million people into full lockdown, and Matt Hancock’s statement that those in Tier 4 will not come out of Tier 4 until they have the vaccine.
A very worrying development. A very troubling thought.
