Platforms such as Snapchat and TikTok are now targeting younger people in the UK government’s latest campaign to tackle vaccine hesitancy.
Social media networks are now targeting young people, encouraging them to go and get the Covid-19 vaccine.
This follows the announcement on Wednesday 16th June that Brits aged 21 will now be able to get their jab.
Social media networks such as Snapchat and TikTok have joined the online drive in pushing younger people to get fully vaccinated through filters and other incentives.
Snapchat users will be able to use new NHS stickers and a filter that says “I’ve had my vaccine.”
Users will also be shown links to the NHS website, World Health Organisation (WHO), and other “reliable sources” of information, including a Q&A which will be held on the prime minister’s Snapchat account.
TikTok is also adding vaccine stickers and filters to their platform whilst also working with scientists to share clips about the jab.
The government’s latest campaign hopes to tackle “vaccine hesitancy” amongst younger people aged 18-21, which they state is caused by “misinformation” about the jab which is shared online.
Dr Karan Rangarajan, an NHS surgeon, and influencer who has 3.9 million followers on TikTok, told Sky News: “Misinformation affects all groups equally and there is a large user base that is in their late teens or early 20s.
“They are also in the UK the last cohort to be eligible for the vaccine so it’s a really important group to target.”
Despite pushing for younger people to get the jab, one in eight adults aged 16-29 reported that they would not get the Covid-19 vaccine.
Other social media platforms which have been involved in the vaccine rollout are Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit.
It seems like censorship is one of the key tools that big tech platforms use to target “misinformation” and encourage users to roll up their sleeves and submit to the jab.
Earlier this year, Facebook deleted a 120,000-member group where people shared stories of adverse reactions to the Covid-19 vaccine.
For a vaccine so safe, why did groups like this exist? Why are big tech platforms going to such extreme lengths to not only censor vaccine victims and to promote the jab?

Went shopping today, quite a lot of young women with kids and the sniffles, thought it a bit strange, but shrug? The teller was a young girl who I had not seen previously and I thought I’d cheer her up a bit as she looked downright gloomy and pale as a white sheet of paper and I asked her how she was settling in?
She muttered that she could not wait until this shift was over and she could go home, so I asked her why and she said she had a cold which she could not get rid of and felt unwell, so I asked if she had had her test vaccine and she said yes, the Pfizer one, which she was told was 95% safe, last Thursday and then all of the pennies fell into place and I realized that many of the women shopping there, probably had their Pfizer test vaccines too.
Saw one hugely pregnant woman and thought about asking her if she had her Pfizer shot too, but the truth of the matter is, as an anti vaxxer, the last thing I want to do is draw attention to myself and all I can do now is shut the fuck up and let circumstances and all of these people see what happens to them next.
Some really nice new cars, thought if the owners could not look after them if the vaccines killed them, I could always park their cars around my home and try each one out, after all, if most people are dead, then empty homes and cars to enjoy and nobody to stop me?
I hope it all works out OK for all of them, but I really feel there is a lot going on behind the scenes about which we know nothing and only time and winter will tell us what that will be in all probability.
I read that people who are vaccinated are 6 in 1 more likely to come down with Covid than those who are not vaccinated
(bearing in mind my free salt water cure which will drop numbers even lower than that) and it is summer in England now and the viral load will be at its lowest, because viruses are a seasonal thing, so when winter comes again, it will be really interesting to see then how effective test vaccines are, which is why everyone is probably pushing that everyone gets test vaccinated now, before winter arrives and what happens then, if this is about reducing the human population down to 50 million or less, to save the planet from overheating and the oceans reversing, causing the next big freeze for 5,000 years, excluding the super rich of course, who want the new planet for themselves, without us.
Read that if you are English and fly abroad and get a blood clot overseas from your overseas flight, your insurer will cancel your insurance policy and you won’t get financial support from your insurance policy – enough to stop overseas travels fr good, I would expect.
Read today that Boris is going to keep us all in permanent lock down as long as Delta continues to surge, so none of you wil be able to go anywhere anyway and I read somewhere else that many countries don’t want English airline passengers because of the fear they would bring free Covid Delta with them.
Any idea which viruses Holland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, France, Spain and all of the rest I missed have got now – Russia apparently has a Covid Delta strain and they are not doing very well with it?

It will be very interesting to see how this unfolds in the future and what the long term effects of the various vaccines are. Property investors will be out of business and all the ivy covered ruins of the cities with monkeys everywhere staring at you will be very scenic. The ferrets will rise to sentience and take over.

It needs to be understood that the ice capes are melting, we are seeing extreme weathers, horrific fires in Australia and America, volcanic eruptions, that is fact we are all seeing very extreme weathers! What needs to be understood is that a very specific amount of time in history (which is now and occurs every certain amount of thousands of years!) we may see a natural accumulation’ of which there is a sudden distruption that occurs every certain amount of time in history and always has done.We are presently ‘up’ for this and have been since 2012. This has not occurred many years and not in our life time) it is naturnal, though i will definately not dispute humans do need to take responsibility for waste and desecrating our earth! What is occurring is a natural phenomenum and not caused by us, its natural, but at the same time we really do need to address all the rubbish and waste we are dumping on our planet because it is so extreme it is unmanageable.
