In 2020, Dr. Scott Atlas was an advisor to the president and a member of the White House Covid-19 Task Force. He was shocked to see how powerful figures in Washington, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, were incentivised to politicise and monetise the response to the pandemic.
In a candid conversation with PragerU CEO Marissa Streit earlier this year, Dr. Atlas revealed that many Americans may have died because of censorship, dishonesty and the demonisation of medical dissent.

Dr. Scott Atlas is an American medical doctor who has worked on public health policy for about 20 years. He was a professor and chief of a division of a department at Stanford University Medical School before he took a full-time position as a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University. He is a former adviser to President Donald Trump on covid-19.
The Covid-19 Task Force, also known as the White House Coronavirus Task Force, was established on 29 January 2020 to coordinate and oversee the federal government’s response to the covid pandemic. On 26 February 2020, Vice President Mike Pence was named to chair the task force. Dr. Atlas joined the Task Force in July 2020.
At the first meeting he attended, he recalled that there were statements made that were completely wrong about the risk of covid to children. He told the then-Vice President Mike Pence that he didn’t agree with the statements being made. He told Pence that “these people were completely wrong.”
“And the sad part was, they had no data,” he said. “There was no real science or scientific debate except when I was asked a question. I was prepared with a dozen, two dozen scientific papers, all the data I’d gone through with the scepticism about the study designs that you’re supposed to have as a medical scientist. And so, when I was asked a question, I would go through the data.”
“There was never a single meeting … not a single time where Deborah Birx or Anthony Fauci or Robert Redfield brought scientific papers into the meeting. Not a single time was anything I said ever refuted by criticism of the data or alternative numbers or other data,” he said.
Adding, “Not a single time was there a criticism about a study being designed except for me … the way you look at a study is you look at the study design first. If the study design is flawed, the conclusions are not valid. Not a single time did I ever hear Birx or Fauci ever criticise a study design. And even worse, not a single time did they disagree with each other – which of course is unheard of, implying that there was a ‘group think’ going on not critical thinking.”
“It should be very frightening to everybody who’s watching this to even know this: that the people running and advising on the medical science, advising the medical policy were not medical scientists – they were bureaucrats.”
Dr. Atlas wanted to involve people who were researching the covid pandemic to have a real discussion about what was happening with covid. But Fauci only spoke to Dr. Atlas once about this and then dropped the idea. “What they instead wanted was Fauci, Birx, Redfield and me only – with no witnesses as to what was going on,” he said.
Dr. Atlas’ role as an advisor to the President of the United States was to answer Donald Trump’s questions and give him the best information that was available. Dr. Atlas arranged for five researchers, including himself, to have a discussion with President Trump and answer his questions. This meeting was arranged for August 2020 but was later changed to enable Birx to attend.
Less than 24 hours before the meeting was due to take place, it was cancelled. The reason Dr, Atlas was given was because Brix was unable to attend. Dr. Atlas argued that it was vital that the meeting went ahead, and was told by Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump’s husband and senior advisor to Trump, “Okay we’ll have the meeting … but it’ll only be five minutes and it’ll be a ‘hello, meet and greet’.”
When Dr. Atlas got into the Oval Office, he was reminded that he only had five minutes but then Trump started asking questions.
“[Trump] asked all the appropriate questions about lockdowns, about school closures, about the risk to children, about hydroxychloroquine, about Sweden, about what’s happening with economic shutdown etc, on public health. And he went through and asked, point-by-point, all of the five of us these questions. And it went on for 45 minutes,” Dr. Atlas said.
Covid was projected to the public as something entirely new and that no one knew what to do; scientists were at a loss and didn’t know how to start tackling it. Dr. Atlas said this was not the truth.
“It was not so lost and new and new information [and] no information was known – this is one of the many lies … there were several false beliefs put forward to the public. And when I say false, I’m talking about things that we knew in the spring of 2020. Not learned. Not learned in 2021, 2022, 2023. We knew,” he said.
He ran through the false statements that were made.
The first one is that everyone is at risk of dying from covid. “That’s just false from the earliest data of the cruise ship, the Japanese cruise ship,” he said.
Dr. Atlas was referring to the Diamond Princess, a cruise ship operated by Princess Cruises, which was quarantined in Yokohama, Japan, in February 2020 after a covid outbreak with 3,705 people on board. 852 tested positive for covid and it is reported that 14 died.
The second false statement was that the covid infection fatality rate, according to the World Health Organisation (“WHO”), was 3.4%. “Globally, about 3.4% of reported covid-19 cases have died,” WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said during a press briefing on 3 March 2020.
“That was false. We knew it at the time,” Dr. Atlas said. “The WHO calculation was only considering the people who were so sick that they went to see a doctor. But as we know from other viral respiratory infections including coronaviruses … [WHO] should have [included] everybody who was infected … So, the infection fatality rate was grossly overstated. That was known.”
The third false statement was that there was no protection from the covid virus and that it was a completely new virus. “No, it wasn’t. It was not completely new in that it’s a member of a virus family, coronaviruses, that other parts that parts of the world had a lot of protection from.” He explained that there is an overlapping biological protection from SARS1 infections, for example, because they’re members of the same virus family.
Another lie was that everyone spread the virus equally, We were told that asymptomatic children were dangerous to the elderly because they could pass covid onto the elderly without knowing it.
Studies were done in Sweden and Finland in schools that remained open in the spring/summer of 2020. From these studies “it was known that open schools do not have a higher rate of infection than closed schools; they do not increase the infection rate of the teachers, they do not increase the infection rate of the community. There was zero harm. It was known that schools should be open. That whole thing was a lie,” Dr. Atlas said.
Adding, “There were also several studies – there were about a dozen studies in the early 2020 literature from Sweden, the Netherlands, France, South Korea, the UK, Spain, Italy, Finland, Denmark – that children were not significant spreaders. So that was proven; children were not significant spreaders of this virus. And children were not, of course, at high risk. In fact, healthy children had a minuscule risk. This was known early on.”
For people under 20, the survival rate is 99.997%, Dr. Atlas said. Retrospective data shows that two-thirds of covid deaths were in people who had six or more co-morbidities. “So, if you’re old and you have hypertension or high blood pressure that’s treated, you’re not necessarily at high risk. It’s old people who had six comorbidities or more … So, there was a gross overstatement as to who had risk [of death].”
Early on, Fauci said that asymptomatic people are not the drivers of viral respiratory epidemics. “That’s true [for covid],” Dr. Atlas said.
“The vast majority of cases were spread indoors,” Dr. Atlas pointed out. “So of course the lockdowns recommending people stay indoors and pulling people off the beaches, forbidding them from being in the parks, taking boats out to arrest people surfing out off the coast of San Diego – I mean this was a completely antithetical opposite to what was known.”
Another lie that was perpetrated on the public was that there’s no protection other than a vaccine. “This doesn’t just erase decades of immunology literature,” he said. Literature that shows natural immunity, which we get at recovery from a virus infection, is long-lasting against a serious illness or death. “That was known not just for decades, not just for hundreds of years, but … for thousands of years.”
“This recovery from a virus generating long-lasting biological protection [or natural immunity] was known. Yet it was overtly [and] explicitly denied by people in the [Covid] Task Force, by the media and by many medical scientists,” he said.
“Data from Israel in 2021 on the vaccine [ ] showed that there was better protection in people who recovered from the infection and never had the vaccine than in people who never had the infection and took the vaccine; better protection against reinfection, better protection against serious illness, better protection against death,” Dr. Atlas said. “The biological protection from recovery [natural immunity] should never have even been controversial … If you have a high school kid who’s in [Advanced Placement (“AP”)] biology, is a senior in high school, he or she knows that if you recover from a viral infection you have long-lasting immunological protection.”
“None of this was very complicated. It was exaggerated, it was distorted, it was lied about,” he added.
One of the most sordid examples of harms inflicted on the public was censorship, demonisation and denial effect. This applied to treatments for covid. As soon as Trump mentioned hydroxychloroquine, there was an immediate reaction, “No, he said this, therefore no.” Dr. Atlas explained. In his opinion, it was merely political.
“What happened was really a gross failure by Anthony Fauci, Francis Collins, the people in the head of the NIH and the heads of the other public health agencies in never looking at and conducting clinical trials early on, in February/March of 2020, drugs that were safe and already FDA approved,” he said. “People may have died from not doing these trials.”
“Hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin are safe drugs. That’s a fact. They’ve been taken by billions, billions with a ‘b’, of people all over the world for years, for other diseases. So, it was not true that they were dangerous,” he said.
Dr. Atlas gave two reasons why he thinks the trials for the effectiveness of these drugs to treat covid were never done. Firstly, if a trial showed that the drugs worked then an emergency use authorisation could not be used for the vaccine. Secondly, is corruption. During the decade before covid, NIH, CDC and FDA employees received $325 million in royalties from pharmaceutical companies. “This is such an overt conflict of interests. It’s so shocking. That should never occur in a first-world country at all. Zero. It should be illegal,” he said.
Adding, “It brings up the question: was there pharma corruption, financial corruption influenced by private drug companies both on the vaccine side and on any other drug that was developed side?”

It’s not only the denial of safe and effective treatments that was harmful. Lockdowns were also harmful.
Lockdowns were a break from standard pandemic management, Dr. Atlas said. In 2006, Donald Henderson and three colleagues published a paper that concluded “lockdowns do not work and lockdowns are extraordinarily harmful,” Dr. Altas said. “That was known. The standard was not lockdowns. They, the lockdowners, implemented a reckless pseudoscientific policy.”

Acknowledging that WHO plays an important role in providing data and information, Dr. Atlas said, “In this case [i.e. covid], the World Health Organisation was an abject failure, a fraud. And run by someone who is grossly incompetent and should not be in charge of the World Health Organisation, and that’s Tedros the director.”
“Tedros … was putting forth lies … throughout 2020 and even in 2021 he praised China as a model of transparency when China blocked the WHO itself from inspecting the Wuhan Labs. So, this is completely irrational or points to complete corruption.
“[Tedros] said that China was a model for pandemic management when China did some of the most barbaric lockdowns, indeed human rights violations, imprisoning their own citizens, forbidding them from even getting their own medications for other illnesses, and lying to the world covering up the origin of the virus etc.
“Tedros also rewrote guidelines on masks that were erratic. He censured his own scientists from saying that asymptomatic spread was not the big driver … They changed biological definitions on their website of herd immunity to say herd immunity only comes from vaccines And then they changed it back to the real definition which is from infection protection or vaccines.”
“In fact,” Dr. Atlas said, “when you look at the WHO’s performance, for more than a decade they’ve been an abject failure – H1N1, Zika, covid, all the other pandemics they’ve dealt with. In fact, Tedros himself, when he was director of Public Health in Ethiopia before becoming head of WHO, was caught lying. He covered up a cholera outbreak in Ethiopia. So, this is a guy who has no Integrity.”
“The bottom line is,” Dr. Atlas said, “WHO put forth misinformation, incorrect information, lies etc. And [ ] WHO has lost its place as a credible health agency … Tedros seems to be a mouthpiece for China. There’s certainly no transparency. It’s gross incompetency at best. There’s also malfeasance going on and really an abuse of public trust.”
The USA is the biggest funder of the WHO. “We [the USA] need to put a hold on all the funding of the WHO. And not just not support them, but investigate them for the malfeasance and hold some accountability [for] what was done,” he said.
Face masks don’t work, Dr. Atlas said. “Masks do not protect the person wearing them nor do they prevent the spread of a viral respiratory infection.” Dr. Atlas is not referring to makeshift masks in the form of scarves worn over our faces, he was referring to surgical masks. “Surgical masks do not work. It’s proven they do not work. It was known they do not work in [the] spring of 2020.”
In May 2020, the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) published a review of all randomised clinical trials on masks for influenza virus. “[The] influenza virus is about the same size, roughly, as the SARS 2 virus. And that size is smaller than the pore size in a surgical mask. So, of course, anybody with a brain would say ‘Oh wow, the virus is so small it goes through the surgical mask [it] probably doesn’t work’,” Dr Atlas said.
“But if you look at the actual data published by the CDC in all the reviews in May of 2020, surgical masks do not prevent the spread and do not protect the wearer. And that is true. That was proven time and time again,” he said and mentioned other studies including the Danish study and a Cochrane review. Dr. Atlas quoted the senior author of the Cochrane review, Tom Jefferson, who said, “Masks do not work. Period.”

Dr. Atlas then spent some time discussing the devastating effects the lockdowns had on children and questioning the behaviour of teachers before moving on to the medical professionals.
“The medical community was a disgrace during covid,” Dr. Atlas said. “It’s embarrassing to be a doctor and call these people my peers. I know that sounds very harsh but doctors were sheep doctors, [they] were not looking at the studies, doctors were not questioning things … The medical community failed. They failed because they acted like sheep; they didn’t question what they were told, they didn’t read the studies. I mean, they weren’t fluent in the data and it’s very sad. It’s embarrassing and they rightfully have lost trust.
“It’s not just the doctors, [it’s] the teachers, as I mentioned, the public health leaders, people in government, people in the media, it goes on and on. All the institutions have lost trust. And there’s nothing that has lost trust more precipitously, by the way, than the public health agencies … and science itself has lost trust.”
The way research is funded is also a factor in the medical professionals not questioning narratives. “There’s another reason besides doctors being spineless sheep and not critical thinkers,” Dr. Atlas said. “The other reason is that I think people don’t understand the way science and medical research is funded.”
“It’s controlled by what I would call a cartel of people at the top. The NIH is the main funder of science in the United States and therefore the world. Indirectly, the NIH is controlled by a cabal of very powerful politically connected interdependent people, who are also the chairs of departments and medical schools, who also are the reviewers or editors and chief of the grant of the publications and science. And it turns out that every academic scientist and every University scientist to get promoted needs an NIH grant … I don’t think the public understands that they’re therefore dependent on the NIH. You’re not going to get many assistant professors who are willing to sacrifice their career advancement by speaking out against the NIH, like Fauci or Collins … There are … more than 15 [university medical centres] that get over $500 million per year every year from the NIH. Do you think that a lot of these university and medical centres are going to feel like they can speak out against NIH when they don’t want to jeopardize their funding?”
Dr. Atlas explained how using the media, censorship and cancel culture they created “the lie of the false consensus”; the lie that everybody agrees with the official narrative, that there’s a consensus of the experts. “There wasn’t a consensus of the experts,” Dr. Atlas said. “It was quite the opposite.”
“Public Health leaders and others morphed into this idea that their role is to persuade the public rather than show the data and persuade the public by [using] the data,” he said.
“We now know that the responsibility is on us, as individuals in a free society, to know what we’re talking about; to go investigate the source and the data because the era of trusting people solely on the basis of their credentials is over. These people have disqualified themselves. They’re not critical thinkers; they’re inept, they’re incompetent. But also, they’re not to be trusted. They manipulated the public instead of [giving] us the information and [letting] us decide,” he said.

Upon discovering that this reality is effectively of a kind of cosmic show brought about by higher intelligence, the power groups sought to create the most empowering show. In order to do this, they had to design the most intense series of contrasts or extremes in order to bring about the most complete resolution when the resolution is finally reached. The resolution must be reached. This is the classic ideology of light winning out over darkness. That part is agreed upon. Without the light winning out, there would be no darkness to perceive the contrast. And the light and dark must co-exist, and the light must prevail, simply because the methods and means of darkness or ignorance cannot supersede intelligence, wisdom, and true spiritual power. This is a given through appropriations such as if darkness ever became all powerful, then there would be a slow decline until there was nothing to mirror and sustain itself off of. I, as a medical provider, questioned the whole hoax. I reminded them that these viruses had been around for thousands of years, we knew them as colds and flu. These are viruses and would never respond to antibiotics. Even virus vaccines were questionable in their effectiveness and mostly a pharm promotion. The same populations die with these illnesses, those people being the compromised elderly and immunocompromised people. The true cause of death is an opportunistic microbe, i.e. bacteria creeps in, usually in the form of pneumonia which does kill people. This has been happening for millennia in association with corona-viruses. You treat pneumonia with an antibiotic, but some still die.
I was finally run out of the hospital for my “incorrect” information and refusal to take an experimental drug along with encouraging people to refuse this drug.
Many providers went along with the ruse, knowing full well that all the information and practices went against their training and what had been accepted protocols. They murdered people, caused untold misery and are no better than those following orders in the Nazi regime. They knew the truth and ignored it for profit.

Death was Invented Thus, the weirdness begins. We were told that before these events, all calculations point to the concept that people simply didn’t die or lived a very long time. We were informed that humans did not experience biological death and that biological death was literally a function of these early operations to subdue the human race through such advanced technology that warped DNA and thus genetic memory to the point of introducing “time-released” diseases and suffering that simply wasn’t there before.
There are claims that death and disease is literally a new idea that was introduced to this realm as part of a method to enslave the human race.
The idea is the beings who did this had to figure out different ways to lower the frequency of the humans of that time until they could work out a method for reducing the amount of information that DNA could enable until people died naturally as a result. This sounds crazy, but the crazier part is that your DNA can be programmed to allow you to live for an indefinite period and that this won’t work without a balanced spiritual essence.
What they did was induce enough disharmonious frequencies that a fragmentation effect took place. Memory was fragmented, genetics, bloodlines, the spiritual nature of awareness was broken away from the physical body.
