Today the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordered Israel to take measures to prevent and punish direct incitement of genocide in its ongoing war in Gaza. “The state of Israel shall (..) take all measures within its power to prevent the commission of all acts within the scope of Article II of the genocide convention,” the ICJ said. This was the World Court’s interim ruling, in a case brought by South Africa on December 29th 2023, against Israel before the ICJ, accusing it of “genocidal acts” in its military campaign in Gaza and public hearings on South Africa’s request were held on January 11th and 12th.Source
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 26,083 Palestinians have been killed, and 64,487 wounded in Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza starting on October 7. Palestinian and international estimates say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.
Overwhelmingly Majority Vote
An overwhelming majority of the ICJ’s 17-judge panel voted to order urgent measures, which covered most of South Africa’s request, aside from ordering a halt to the Israeli war on Gaza and the court ordered Israel to refrain from any acts that could fall under the genocide convention and also ensure that the Israeli army do not commit any genocidal acts in Gaza.
The ICJ issued a series of provisional measures that require Israel to comply with the 1948 Genocide Convention, to allow more humanitarian aid into Gaza and act against those who issue genocidal statements. It rejected Israel’s contention that the court did not have the jurisdiction to direct provisional measures and iterated that its findings were binding.
Judge Joan Donahue, the current president of the ICJ, said while announcing the provisional measures that the court had concluded that the “catastrophic situation” in Gaza could get much worse by the time it delivers its final verdict, necessitating provisional measures. Therefore, while the ruling itself does not call for a ceasefire, it could make it harder for Israel’s allies to continue to stonewall global efforts to bring the war to a halt.
“The ICJ ruling puts a lot more pressure on the US and other Western allies to move on a ceasefire resolution,” Zaha Hassan, a human rights lawyer and a fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, told Al Jazeera. “It makes it a lot harder for the US, along with Israel, to make the case to Western governments that are still very much concerned with international legitimacy, to maintain the idea that Israel is acting within the constraints of international law in Gaza and that it’s acting in self-defence.”
The Palestinian Authority welcomed the ruling. “The ICJ ruling is an important reminder that no state is above the law or beyond the reach of justice,” Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyadh Maliki said in a statement. “It breaks Israel’s entrenched culture of criminality and impunity, which has characterised its decades-long occupation, dispossession, persecution, and apartheid in Palestine.”
While the court itself does not have the power to enforce the interim ruling, or indeed the final verdict it delivers in the case, its directives today, Friday 26th January, could influence the war in Gaza, said analysts. Will the Attacks Continue?
The ICJ in its provisional measures did not order Israel to stop its military campaign in Gaza. South Africa had requested such a cease-and-desist directive in its request for provisional measures, citing the prospect of genocide in Gaza. The court had ordered Russia to halt its war in Ukraine in March 2022, a month after it had launched an invasion of Ukraine, though Moscow has ignored that ruling.
So, Israel would not be in violation of the ICJ’s Friday directives in continuing with a war that it insists it will pursue until it has decimated Hamas, yet, the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will likely be under greater scrutiny than ever over the actions of its soldiers in Gaza and the statements of its leaders and generals.
Israel is required, under the ICJ’s ruling, to submit a report within a month showing that it is complying with the provisional measures. South Africa will have the chance to pick holes in Israel’s claims.
When South Africa filed its case at the ICJ in late December, Israeli officials dismissed it as “lies” and accused the South Africans of “hypocrisy” and many people focused on that and not that there was at last a case against the slaughter of innocent civilians. As could be predicted the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel would not be swayed by any ruling.
“We will restore security to both the south and the north,” Netanyahu wrote on the platform known as X, formerly Twitter, from the official account of the Israeli Prime Minister. “Nobody will stop us – not The Hague, not the axis of evil and not anybody else.”
Western Allies Expected to Respect The ICJ Ruling
But even if Israel decides not to abide by the ICJ’s ruling, there will be pressure on its international backers. “Israeli politicians have already said that they’re going to ignore the ICJ order,” Mark Lattimer, the executive director of Ceasefire Centre for Civilian Rights, told Al Jazeera. “It is much harder for, particularly, the US and European states including the UK, to ignore the order because they have a much stronger record of holding or supporting the International Court of Justice.”
Legal experts expect Israel’s allies in the West, including the US, to respect the ICJ’s ruling. To fail to do so would have serious repercussions. It would undermine the “credibility of the rules-based international order that the US claims to uphold”, Lattimer said. He added that it would also “entrench a growing divide” between the US and Western countries versus states in the Global South which view those claims of “upholding global order” with scepticism.Source

There was “a rush to wipe out any possibility for a Palestinian return to the north of Gaza”, Hassan said, pointing to controlled bombings of universities and hospitals. “Once you have hospitals taken out, you make it impossible for people in war to stay. That’s a part of a strategy to force Palestinian population transfer and permanent displacement.”
But this may be an acknowledgement that the time Israel has to carry out its military campaign is running out. “There needs to be enough international pressure to essentially create more incentives for a negotiated ceasefire,” Lattimer said. “The ICJ order is a major contribution.”Source

The US, in particular, has provided military aid that Israel is reliant on to continue to wage war. President Joe Biden circumvented US Congress twice in less than a month to greenlight emergency weapons sales to Israel. The Biden administration claims it has asked Israel to protect civilian life but that has not shielded it from heavy criticism, including internally, for failing to convince Israel to hold higher regard for innocent lives in Gaza.
“This administration is concerned with the growing number of members of Congress, particularly moderate Democrats in the Senate who are raising red flags about the misuse of US weapons and the potential for US complicity if they continue to send unconditional supplies to Israel,” Hassan said. The ICJ ruling could add steam to the push for a ceasefire in Gaza and for the US to insist on a higher level of accountability when it comes to Israeli military action.Source

We, that American States and People, are the long-lost Foreign Sovereigns who purportedly disappeared 160-plus years ago– at least, according to our self-interested Federal Subcontractors.
They have neglected to tell the world that they “disappeared” us using phony legal scams, unconscionable contracts, and bushwah. Now, having failed to start race wars, religious wars, or foreign wars, they are trying to start a “civil war” in this country, while both the corporations trying to foment this are ultimately on our payroll, are owned by the same foreign Principals, and are offering violence against us because they can no longer commandeer our assets as collateral and access our credit to pay their bills.

The first Bad Actor is a foreign Municipal Government Corporation doing business under various present and historical franchises as the UNITED STATES, US CORP, E PLURIBUS UNUM, GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES, etc., chartered by an unauthorized “independent, international city-state” located in the District of Columbia.
This city-state is ultimately owned and run by the UN CORPORATION (also functioning under various other names) which was first organized as a Vichy French Corporation in 1943 for the purpose of receiving and holding foreign assets stolen by the Nazis in the first four years of the Second World War. They colluded with certain Swiss banks and Swiss bankers, most notably, USB in the West and HSBC in the East, to store their plunder.
Large amounts of assets belonging to the seventeen still-occupied nations of Western Europe thus remained under the control of the Nazis and the Roman Catholic Church. Together, these foreign interests have created what is known as the Empire of the Cities — small enclaves within larger nations operating independently and making their own laws as oases for organized crime, i.e., pirate bases.
Examples include the UN Compound in NYC, both of which exist apart from New York City, Washington, DC and the Municipality of Washington, which similarly inhabit the City of Washington, DC and the District of Columbia, the Inner City of London existing within greater London, Hong Kong existing as such a city-state in Taiwan, Vatican City within Italy, and numerous other such so-called enclaves that echo the pattern of extremely small monarchies such as Liechtenstein and Monaco, which have been used as trading grounds and safe havens, like Switzerland, for otherwise outlawed criminal financial, military, religious, and racial cults.
A civil war is a war between organized groups within the same country, however, as Patrick M. Regan notes in his book, Civil Wars and Foreign Powers about two thirds of the 138 civil wars taking place between 1945 and 2000, were instigated by or suffered intervention by foreign powers.
These “foreign powers” have been largely misrepresented; as the illegal and immoral occupations of both the US Corp and USA, Inc. and their various franchises and iterations, have, for example, been attributed to America.

We hold Jorge Bergolio, aka, Pope Francis, the Roman Catholic Church, and its various chartered and registered corporations one hundred percent commercially and personally liable for promoting a civil war on our shores to our detriment, the actual employers of these Municipal Corporations and their own long-lost fellow Principals.
The second Bad Actor is a British Crown Municipal Corporation, also ultimately owned by Jorge Bergolio, aka, Pope Francis, which has done business under various names as: The United States of America, Incorporated, the United States of America, Incorporated, the USA, Incorporated, and so on.
The essence of the current conflict boils down to this: it is the contractual and moral obligation of the current version of USA, Inc. to protect our borders and secure our country from invasion. If they don’t perform, they are in violation of the contracts allowing them to be in this country at all.
At the same time, the current version of US Corp is acting outside its jurisdiction and exercising powers never bequeathed to it, to prevent the USA, Inc. from doing its job.
Thus, Bergolio is using both Municipal Corporations resident in the District of Columbia as sock puppets to promote a civil war by proxy over a border crisis created by the US Corp and its policy agreement masquerading as a treaty to create the so-called North American Union. This would involve erasing the borders between Canada, The United States, and Mexico, and thereby grossly violating the national sovereignty of all these countries.
The catch in all of this is that the land and soil jurisdiction is not vacant and these corporations have no right or reason to do what they are doing; they are engaged in promoting an illegal Mercenary Conflict on our shores, just as they have been doing in so many other countries ever since the Second World War and they are doing this under the False Pretense that they are associated with us, are our representatives. and have our permission to tear our country apart for the sake of their wrong-headed and non-consensual policies.
