Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg issued a statement confirming that the Biden administration aggressively pushed to censor posts on social media, in particular relating to covid and Hunter Biden’s laptop.
But Zuckerberg’s statement missed a key detail.
“At least three Facebook staff members participated in the Aspen Institute’s Hunter Biden tabletop exercise that game-planned how to suppress the story two months in advance of the New York Post story,” Andrew Lowenthal said.

The Biden administration pressured social media platforms like Facebook to censor content related to Covid-19 and the Hunter Biden laptop, as confirmed by Zuckerberg. This censorship included suppressing humour and satire about covid.
It also included information relating to the Hunter Biden laptop story. However, Zuckerberg omitted to mention that Facebook staff members participated in an Aspen Institute “tabletop” exercise planning how to suppress the Hunter Biden story two months before it broke.
“The Aspen Institute ‘table-top’ brought together a host of media and Big Tech including Facebook, the New York Times, Twitter, the Washington Post, and “anti-disinformation” NGO First Draft, to create their very own disinformation operation, literally planning day-by-day how they would respond to the leak,” Lowenthal said.
Regarding covid, Zuckerberg says the government “repeatedly pressured” Facebook to “censor.” Regarding the Hunter Biden laptop, he only mentions they were “warned” “about a potential Russian disinformation operation.” There is no mention of pressure to censor.
Facebook demoted The New York Post’s article about Hunter Biden’s laptop and passed it on to “fact checkers” for review. “It’s since been made clear that the reporting was not Russian disinformation, and in retrospect, we should not have demoted the story,” Zuckerberg said in his statement.
Despite Zuckerberg’s acknowledgement that suppressing the Hunter Biden story was wrong, he has kept Nathaniel Gleicher, who attended the Aspen exercise, in “head security policy at Meta.”
The Twitter Files show Gleicher also met with the Department of Defence (“DoD”) and FBI, which raises questions about Facebook’s involvement in censoring the story.
Twitter’s Yoel Roth, who also attended the Aspen exercise, played a key role in suppressing the story on that platform. Did Gleicher play the same role at Facebook?
Yet, Zuckerberg places the blame on the federal government without acknowledging the extent of Facebook’s involvement.
If Zuckerberg truly believes that suppressing the Hunter Biden story was a mistake, why has he kept key people involved in the suppression of the story in positions of authority?
No doubt the federal government exerted pressure, but that does not appear to be the whole story, Lowenthal said.

Facebook was and still is censoring us without any input from government. They built their own algorithms and used their fake deep state fact checkers and trolls from the beginning. Any truth the deep state does not want us to know has always been censored one way or another and fake narratives have been used in their place, and Facebook, being a CIA construct has been only too willing to carry out that role without the input of the fools and lackeys acting as polititians.
