On Wednesday I wrote to my Member of Parliament (“MP”) about the second reading of the euthanasia bill in the House of Commons on 29 November.
At this stage, I’m not hopeful of a response. I am still awaiting a response to an email sent over a month ago.

On 25 September, and resent twice more since then, I emailed my MP about the United Nations Pact for the Future which unknown “representatives” for UK citizens negotiated and agreed to without our knowledge or consent. In that email, I asked who these representatives were, what the Government did to make people aware such a Pact existed and what my MP’s understanding was of the Pact these so-called “representatives” had signed up for while claiming to represent the UK.
Apart from an automated acknowledgement of receipt, I am still awaiting a response. We could assume he hasn’t responded because he had no idea there was such a thing let alone that the Pact was being negotiated and adopted. Or perhaps he doesn’t like hard questions that require some work on his part to answer. In the absence of a reply, we can only guess.
Below is my second email to him about the euthanasia bill. I haven’t received an automated response to confirm it has been received. Perhaps the automated response is for first-time contact only. Or perhaps he or his assistant, or my email provider, has assigned my emails to his spam as a result of the first. Again, in the absence of a reply, we can only guess. I will let you know if I get any, I mean any, response. But don’t hold your breath.

Dear [MP],
Next month, the House of Commons is having the second reading of the ‘Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill‘ which aims to legalise a doctor purposefully killing their patients. This Bill is not an act of kindness or compassion – it is the introduction of an agenda.
Canada provides the example of the mission creep that this Bill will be subject to. The article I have linked below has a good summary of the euthanasia mission creep as well as just some of the legal quagmire this UK Bill introduces – where doctors become indiscriminate killers rather than standing on their oath of “first do no harm.”

I also question the legality of such a Bill and whether the Member of Parliament who introduced it and those who support or vote in favour of the Bill are acting unconstitutionally.
One of the documents that make up the UK’s constitution is Magna Carta (1297). Magna Carta built on existing rights and liberties rather than creating new ones from scratch. Magna Carta is built on Anglo-Saxon legal foundation. The Ten Commandments were a particularly important model for the drafting of Anglo-Saxon law codes, they formed part of the preface to Alfred the Great’s law book, the Doom Book. [Note: Alternative spelling Doombook or Domboc].
The sixth of the Ten Commandments states: “You shall not murder.”
The Ten Commandments, through Magna Carta, are implicit in the UK constitution to this day. The legacy of Anglo-Saxon law can also be seen in the concept of “common law.”

Considering the above, it would be both unconstitutional and unlawful for you to vote in favour of a bill that legalises murder by medical professionals.
If the rule of law is to be followed, the member who introduced the Bill and all MPs who promote it or vote in favour of it should be investigated to establish if they are fit for office.
