UK farmers staged a fresh tractor protest today in London against inheritance tax changes, with Reform UK leader Nigel Farage addressing the protesters. Conservative figures including shadow foreign secretary Dame Priti Patel also attended.
The protest, organised by Save British Farming, took place as Members of Parliament debated an e-petition with more than 148,000 signatures calling to keep the current inheritance tax exemptions for working farms.
Major London roads were gridlocked during the farmers’ protest outside Parliament, with tractors packing onto Whitehall near Parliament for the third time in four months to protest inheritance tax being introduced to farms.
In the video below, at around timestamp 3 hrs 54 mins, Nick, host of Nick’s Farms, and his dad sing a brilliant song titled ‘I Want To Be A Farmer’.
“Hey Keir, it’s time you took the blame. Your party shouldn’t be in power and millions feel the same. And Rachel, can’t you do the maths? You got the numbers wrong when it comes to inheritance tax … I want to be a farmer, like my dad. But Keir Starmer wants to take our land … Back off Starmer, I want to be a farmer,” Nick sang out.
Speeches begin after ‘I Want To Be A Farmer.” Nigel Farage’s speech was earlier in the day at Belmont Farm in North London ahead of the rally in Westminster. You can watch Farage’s speech HERE and the other speeches at Belmont Farm HERE.

All part of the evil elite plans. These insane idiots would cut off their noses to spite their face. Starmer should’ve been locked up for allowing Savile to remain free but then he was probably procuring children for Starmer too. He’s nothing more than a cult sock puppet who I think was involved with the thankfully late David Rockefeller and the trilateral commission.
If there is any justice, I believe something very shocking will come out from Starmer’s closet , we can all see he is a marxist nut job, but that is only what we see on the surface, I suggest there are dark hidden nasties Starmer never wants us to find out about. Is he being blackmailed? The Chagos ‘deal’ springs to mind….
Just as all pro gov comments are written by gov employees, all pro farmer comments are written by farmers. I want to be able to walk ove land in my country. I want to be able to breath clean air instead of city pollution. The farmers won’t allow that. They “own” almost all the land and are millionaires, now they’re complaining about helping out the 99% who live in slums? My heart bleeds.
Hi Rhin, I have taken hundreds of walks across the English countryside, nearly all across farmers’ land. I have never been stopped, not once, by a farmer. In fact, when I have encountered a farmer they are only friendly. I once came across a farmer who, when I greeted him, his greeting wasn’t as friendly as other encounters. He then kindly showed me where the walking path was – unknowingly I had veered off it (and admittedly I was lost, which is why he approached me in the first place, he had seen me walking around and around trying to find my way for about an hour and it was obvious I was lost. I could have been walking around for many hours more if hadn’t taken the time come to my rescue).
If you are not walking on an established route (public foot path), then you are trespassing – much like if someone hoped over your fence and walked all over your garden everyday for fun.
When walking in the countryside, stick to the designated walking paths, don’t trespass, don’t cause distress or harm to the farmers’ animals, don’t damage the farmers’ crops etc and don’t leave litter everywhere. Treat the farmer’s land with the same respect as you would your own.
Here’s a brief guide for you of the basic rules you should follow when walking on someone else’s land:

I concur – very close to me there are several farmers and one lets me take their manure for free for my allotment but I give her a bottle of wine anyway. I’ve never had any issue with any of them and all seem very friendly. It’s a hard life and most could not endure it.
