Slovenian Parliament approves law to legalise euthanasia

Slovenia has become the first Eastern European country to approve a law legalising medically-assisted suicide for terminally-ill adults.

There appears to be a pattern developing: It is only in Western countries, where the majority of the global minority live, that governments are introducing state-sponsored euthanasia.

Slovenia Officially Joins the Euthanasia Movement

Slovenia has approved a law to legalise medically-assisted suicide for terminally-ill adults, making it the first Eastern European country to do so.

The law was passed by the Slovenian Parliament with 50 votes in favour, 34 against, and three abstentions.  The law’s implementation will not be immediate as procedures and oversight mechanisms are still being developed.

The legislation follows a consultative referendum last year in which 55% of voters supported the right to end-of-life autonomy, more correctly termed euthanasia.

“Despite public opinion, the medical profession in Slovenia has been widely against the legalisation of assisted suicide, citing ethical concerns with the practice and noting the importance of doctors’ commitment to saving lives, not helping end them,” Live Action noted shortly after the referendum was held.

The conservative Slovenian Democratic Party (SDS) has denounced the bill, saying it “opens the door to a culture of death, the loss of human dignity and the minimisation of the value of life, in particular of the most vulnerable.”

And a civil rights group opposing the new law pledged on Friday to seek public backing for a potential attempt to force a referendum on the measure.

Slovenia joins countries like Canada, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Australia, and Colombia in legalising euthanasia. Last month, Britain’s Parliament also voted to legalise euthanasia, although the bill must still clear the House of Lords.  In the US, 11 states allow medical aid in dying. Washington, D.C., also permits doctor-assisted suicide.

Only Governments Where the Global Minority Lives Want Euthanasia

The British Medical Association (“BMA”), the trade union and professional body for doctors and medical students in the UK, compiled an infographic and accompanying table of “physician-assisted dying legislation around the world.”  It highlights the international jurisdictions where euthanasia is lawful and provides a comparison between several countries.

BMA’s document is undated, but judging by a remark above the table, “the law in New Zealand that comes into force on 7 November 2021,” we can deduce it was prepared and published before that date.  You can access the document from BMA’s ‘Physician-assisted dying’ webpage.

For anyone who values the sanctity of life, it makes depressing reading.

The term “white” when referring to a race is generally used to describe people of predominantly European ancestry.  The exact number of white people in the world is difficult to determine due to varying definitions and census methods, but estimates suggest that white people make up between 10% to 15% of the global population. Some sources suggest that the figure could be as low as 7% depending on how “white” is defined. For an estimated ethnic mix for each country, see HERE.

In 2024, The Rutland Herald said that only 16% of the world’s population is white; the paper didn’t provide its source for this estimate.  And in 2019, Harper’s Index said the same, without providing a source. Commenting about an answer to the question ‘What is the number of White people in the world?’ posted on Quora, White Data said:

Many discussions are attempting to establish the proportion of white people in the world, including HERE, HERE and the one which prompted the comment posted on Reddit in October 2024 below. This comment also introduces the term “global majority” (click on the embedded image to read what the commentator had to say):

“Global majority” refers to people of African, Asian, “indigenous,” Latin American, or mixed-heritage backgrounds, who constitute approximately 85% of the global population, according to Wikipedia.  Wikipedia’s use of the word “indigenous” is loaded with racial connotations because in the UK, white people are indigenous; a fact which is often ignored.

Ignoring Wikipedia’s “social justice” activism, from its definition of global majority, we can deduce that “global minority” refers to the 15% of the world’s population which is white people, although some may use “global minority” to describe a group wielding power through transnational organisations, corporations, financial institutions, governments and multi-nationals, or to describe “indigenous” groups.  The UK’s Immigration Practice Law Practitioners’ Association (“ILPA”) confirms this.

ILPA states:  People of the global majority “refer to all ethnic groups except white British and other white groups, including white minorities.  This includes people from black, Asian, mixed and other ethnic groups who are often racialised as ‘ethnic minorities’. Globally, these groups currently represent approximately eighty per cent (80%) of the world’s population.”

Whichever way we perceive “white” or whatever sources are used to estimate the proportions, white people are the “global minority.”

According to White Data’s estimations, the largest concentration of white populations is in Europe (490 million people), as would be expected, followed by the United States (190 million), Canada (27.8 million), Australia (9 million), Africa (5.6 million), New Zealand and other Oceania countries (3 million), Brazil and Argentina (21 million, this number is not clear), and other countries including an allowance for underestimations (13.6 million, calculated as the remainder).

If we now look at the infographic published by BMA again, we have to ask: Why is it only in countries where the majority of the population is the global minority that governments are introducing euthanasia legislation that encourages and protects doctors and nurses who have a murderous streak?  Is this what people on the political left call “progressive”?

While previously it was a hobby culminating in writing articles for Wikipedia (until things made a drastic and undeniable turn in 2020) and a few books for private consumption, since March 2020 I have become a full-time researcher and writer in reaction to the global takeover that came into full view with the introduction of covid-19. For most of my life, I have tried to raise awareness that a small group of people planned to take over the world for their own benefit. There was no way I was going to sit back quietly and simply let them do it once they made their final move.

As a 70+ year old, I welcome the possibility of using euthanasia when I decide to go.

So that I no longer have to be fearful of a long horrible jabbed, cut, poked, … painful, and expensive stay in the hospital.

Old folks home is even a worse fear for me.

Excellent advice Rhoda,

Nevertheless, do you really believe the medical mafia can’t circumnavigate your advice?

I would with every bent of my body hate to be at their mercy.

The “kill switch’ was their wet dream. I truly believe that eventually you will have no say. Cryptocurrency ID2020 deems you no longer productive….flip goes your switch!
At the moment they are simply dancing around the extremely large elephant, simply planting the idea in your head. It’s all about ending suffering you know. They love you so much, and they are so kind.
This is as sinister as it gets. They want you dead…period.

As a former Police Officer over 20 years ago, I distinctly recall the offence of to “aid and abet suicide” being on the statue books
What’s happened to it?!
Also, 5 years ago the endless psychological mantra of the empty phrases “stay safe”, “we’re not safe until everyone is safe”, are they going to be replaced with “we’re not dead until everyone is dead” and “stay dead”?!
Anyone who can walk and talk at the same time and who is not smart phone zombified should be able to see through this evil agenda
I wonder what one of the topics discussed at the recent CLOSED Bilderberg meeting was?…………. depopulation
Hmmm, just like “shoplifting” and “Joy riding” everyday terms of speech are THEFT
“Depopulation”, “population control” and “planned parenthood” are GENOCIDE!!

How many Billionaires will sign up for this? ZERO. Tells you everything you need to know. The psychopaths have no compassion, they don’t care about you, so why would they care about your suffering? It’s a ruse. We’re heading towards Logan’s run.

Euthanasia is a very short event done with a Phenobarbital plus a muscle relaxant e.g., a Benzo. Phenobarbitals were used as sleep medication and for suicide attempts, mostly to forget about one’s life as this chemical substance scatters one’s live-body (etheric body); all memory gets scattered: Life as a learning school (or God’s plan) for to become a better person has been (totally) negated and one will be an aimless zombie for a very long period.

Assisted Dying is done with a combination of Midazolam 30mg and Oro-morphine over 3 successive days (Liverpool care pathway) resulting in a (mostly) quite respiratory and/or cardiac death. This might also dampish one’s memory of life; diminish one recollection and so ability to take responsibility to one mistakes and ability to atone for these.

One has to look at the source and the consequence of Euthanasia and assisted dying: Its source seems to be that the person does not want to give a mandate to those who will take care over that person once her/him being incapacitated. E.g., Lee Li does not trust that other will take proper care of her. That is something she should prearrange at decade prior to one might get disabled or incapacitated or else one has to learned to trust once being in a care home; a very difficult task indeed, but essential. One also had to do so when being in a cradle.

The biggest problem we are facing now are ‘people’ without any morality; Including those who follow in all scenarios orders without taking a responsibility to its consequences.
