On Wednesday, 3 September 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the establishment of a state-level Make America Healthy Again (“MAHA”) Commission in Florida. The announcement was made during a news conference in Valrico, Florida.
In conjunction with the commission’s creation, Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo announced that the Florida Department of Health would work with Governor DeSantis to end all vaccine mandates in the state. He stated that “every last one of them” would be eliminated, emphasising individual rights and informed consent.
“Every last one is wrong and drips with disdain and slavery. Who am I, or anyone else, to tell you what you should put in your body? Who am I to tell you what your child should put in their body? I don’t have that right. Your body is a gift from God. What you put into your body is because of your relationship with your body and God,” Mr. Ladapo said. “Pretty much every state has them. It’s wrong.”

Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo Announces End Of ‘All’ Vaccine Mandates

Officials announced the establishment of the Florida Make America Healthy Again commission on Wednesday, with a major announcement that includes the end of vaccine mandates in the state.
Gov. Ron DeSantis said the new working group will recommend state-level integration of Make America Healthy Again principles. Nationally, President Donald Trump’s MAHA effort has been led by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Under Kennedy, HHS is reportedly “taking bold, decisive action to reform America’s food, health, and scientific systems to identify the root causes of the chronic disease epidemic and Make America Healthy Again.”
DeSantis said the commission will focus on principles including “individual medical freedom, informed consent, parent rights and also market innovation.”
During the press conference, Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo announced the Florida Department of Health, in partnership with the governor, will work to eliminate all vaccine mandates.
“Every last one is wrong and drips with disdain and slavery! Who am I, or anyone else, to tell you what you should put in your body? Who am I to tell you what your CHILD should put in their body? I don’t have that right. Your body is a gift from God. What you put into your body is because of your relationship with your body and God,” Ladapo said.
Florida schools currently have immunisation requirements, which is outlined on the Florida Health website.
The Florida MAHA commission will be chaired by First Lady Casey DeSantis and Lt. Gov. Jay Collins, DeSantis said.
Other members include Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, Agency for Health Care Administration Secretary Shevaun Harris, Department of Children and Families Secretary Taylor Hatch, among other experts in the field.
The commission’s objectives include “promoting clean, safe and nutritious food, improving transparency and accountability in health care, working on the causes of chronic diseases to identify and prevent future occurrences, and restoring trust in the medical profession and in public health,” the Governor said.
The Florida MAHA commission will prioritise reforms that “empower Floridians, reduce regulatory burdens and hold actors accountable for their conduct, while fostering incentives for healthy living and innovation.”
DeSantis said the commission has “great potential” and noted the state has accomplished a lot on the freedom front, but there is always “more to do.”

Of course, we are already hearing how everyone in Florida is going to die, just like we heard when Florida was one of the first states to call out the ridiculous “masking” for a respiratory virus and other things that were done during the so-called “pandemic” that erred on the side of LIBERTY instead of slavery. The fact remains that if all of these “vaccines” are so wonderful then those who choose to get them are supposedly protected from said scary scary “virus”. I’ve always said, you do you and I’ll do me. No one. NO ONE. *NO ONE* has the right to tell another person that they have to have something injected into their bodies to live their lives. Period. Especially products made by manufacturers that cannot be sued if someone experiences injury or death from said product. This, to me, is common sense. I still believe there’s a huge swath of the population that doesn’t have a clue that they cannot sue a “vaccine” manufacturer. I also believer there’s a huge swath of the population that doesn’t have a clue as to what is actually in these “vaccines”. Items that a person wouldn’t eat or drink if it was presented to them, but it’s okay to have it shot into your body? Come on world, wake up! If you want these products, great, go for it. But don’t expect me to pay for it. I’m sick of all of this and I’m super happy about what Florida is trying to do. Get your popcorn though… it’s going to be very messy as the rats start trying to hold on to these evil mandates… at any cost.
