Electromagnetic radiation emitted from Starlink dishes sickens and kills pets and wildlife

In a letter to Arthur Firstenberg, custodian of an animal sanctuary in the Rocky Mountains described how animals in the sanctuary are falling sick and dying after most people in the area installed a Starlink satellite dish.

This is not the first time the health impacts of electromagnetic frequencies (“EMFs”) on animals and humans have been noted.

Claire Edwards, former United Nations editor and trainer in Intercultural Writing who warned the UN Secretary-General about the dangers of 5G in 2018, said that everyone who hears the truth about 5G shuns it and for good reason. What corporate media fails to tell the public is that thousands of scientists and physicians have expressed their concerns about the rollout of 5G in at least 60 appeals.

Excessive exposure to cell phones and Wi-Fi networks has been linked to chronic diseases such as cardiac arrhythmias, anxiety, depression, autism, Alzheimer’s and infertility.

Last month, a case study published in the Journal of Community Medicine & Public Health reported that within a week of a 5G cell tower being activated 20 metres from his apartment, a 49-year-old Swedish man developed severe heart symptoms.  This case is the fifth scientific report by Dr. Lennart Hardell, a world-leading scientist on cancer risks from radiation, and Mona Nilsson on the human health effects of real-life 5G radiofrequency (“RF”) radiation.

It’s not only fifth-generation technology (“5G”) that poses risks.  For many years, published peer-reviewed studies have already indicated that the current wireless technologies of 2G, 3G and 4G – in use today with our cell or mobile phones, computers and wearable tech – create RF exposures which pose a serious health risk to humans, animals and the environment.

Earlier this year, president of Cellular Phone Task Force Arthur Firstenberg wrote that it wasn’t “bird flu” that killed wild birds in Europe last spring, it was radiation sickness.  We previously published an article which listed 94 incidences in 2022 when vast numbers of animals died suddenly.  Although no link to EMFs has been made, perhaps we should, at least, ask the question.

The Cellular Phone Task Force’s newsletter at the end of last month discussed the possibility that very high frequency (“VHF”) transmitters attached to kiwikiu by the Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project killed all but three of the 10 birds released in just over two weeks.  Kiwikiu, or Maui parrotbill, are critically endangered birds only found in Maui, Hawaii, with fewer than 150 remaining.  The three birds that survived managed to disable or remove their radio transmitter shortly after their release into the forest.

In response to the 28 November newsletter, ‘Don’t irradiate the birds!’, readers sent Firstenberg accounts from far and wide of what has been happening not only to the insects, birds, plants etc., but also to their pets from being irradiated.  He published these accounts in Cellular Phone Task Force’s latest newsletter.  Below is one of those accounts.  You can read the latest newsletter HERE.

The Effects of Starlink Dishes

Mary from Guffey, Colorado, who has an animal sanctuary at 9,000 feet in the Rockies, tells a story very similar to the one Mark Broomhall told UNESCO (see previous newsletter ‘Don’t irradiate the birds!’) – a deterioration in the health of all the animals has accompanied each advance in wireless communication.

A cell tower provided the first cell phone service in that remote location 10 years ago. The tower was upgraded about 2 years ago. And most people in Guffey got a Starlink satellite dish this past summer. “Just about everyone in Guffey has one,” says Mary.

One of numerous Starlink dishes in Guffey

Mary wrote the following on 6 November 2023:

Starlink is a 5G phased array technology from the sky. When a Starlink dish is online, that means a satellite is aiming a narrow beam at it. But by the time the beam reaches Earth from a few hundred miles up in space, the beam can be 8 miles in diameter or more. The dish also aims a beam of radiation directly at the satellite and scatters radiation around it. If there are a lot of dishes in a 10-mile radius, as there are in Guffey, radiation from Earth and space is scattered far and wide.

The above was taken from Cellular Phone Task Force’s newsletter dated 5 December 2023.  You can read the full newsletter HERE.

This is sickening. Every single anti-creation globalist needs to be eradicated for mass-murder of living things, and destruction of the planet.

Hi Diane. Pets and wildlife are getting as sick as people are from this radiation which creates a negative feedback loop.

Even the minority of us aware of the ongoing depopulation agenda comprises many who are unaware that the actual globalist war crime is OMNICIDE (MURDER OF ALL NATURAL LIFE) to usher in demonic synthetic biology Planetwide.

The 60GHz frequency range makes oxygen unavailable to life, and destroying plants does the same, on top of all the poisons such as aluminium they are spraying onto God’s carbon-based life, as explained in videos by Nikki Florio of BeeHeroic.

Hi Raj Patel.
The radiation pollution is worst in buses and trains, where almost everyone is using those “Smart” phones: they are tools of Satan, that have literally hijacked the minds of the users who would not know a diode from a transistor.

It is, I get reports one by one that previously healthy pets (cats, dogs) either drop dead or develop weird bloody diarrhea.
Also, the dog attacks, every day news on DM. What made them mad?
Chipped animals can be targeted.
There is a war on our pets!
Look at these, then tell me that the things above just coincidences.

Even places out in the boondocks with low population are not safe from EMFs. In fact, it sounds like it’s much worse there than in New York City.

And some think that Elon Musk is the great saviour! On a related topic, some people believe that satellites do not exist and all communications are done using equipment on land – my Sky satellite dish does not point upwards which you would think it would if it was receiving from a satellite, like pretty much all of them. If you look at the footage of Space X ‘reusable’ rockets landing in the ocean on a tiny platform – that’s looks fake to me – like a video game – or they just reversed the footage of a rocket taking off. It’s pretty well accepted that the Lotus car in space was a fake – even Musk said that it looked so fake it must be real. I like to look and consider all angles – not just the obvious. This whole thousands of satellites which will control you from low earth orbit could be smoke and mirrors to make you feel helpless. Just saying.

Posted this comment to you on a thread about 3 days ago Islander but it wasn’t published. Think changing my user name to MrsD whilst using the same email addy, caused issues:

“It’s the ex-Demeter Islander, like Mrs D much better, really happy you call me that.

“I can’t explain it, the words came out of nowhere!” But, the truth is they came from Satan himself.”

Absolutely friend, Bob Dylan actually said he sold his soul for the gift of songwriting, apparently he conversed with Satan. He also said he can’t write songs anymore.

Taken a quick look at that chapter, looks interesting, i’ll definitely read it all for true context. I’m in Buckinghamshire Islander, close to Bedford, London etc.

Real thanks for all your help, big thoughts jumping into my mind while studying now, would really help being able to talk to like minded believers. Will check back on this thread later.

2. Longish reply to you awaiting approval Islander, think using Mrs D as my new user name with the same email address as before, might have caused hiccups.”

Really hope this comment is published.

A near neighbour of mine was daft enough to report two dead chickens of his to the APHA-had his whole flock of birds put down by three men in hazmat suits, helmets and breathing apparatus-insane! I saw them with my own eyes from a distance with binoculars.

Though sparsely populated up here, we have power lines and a 5G mast nearby, and LED lights in what I would say are strategic positions. I know the aforementioned neighbour has a SMART meter.

Of course they are lying. Just today someone wrote, 8yrs old cat, perfectly healthy just dropped dead, 1 month ago, another around 12 also. They were not related. In 2020 a young one got stroke. Many bloody diarrhea and no connection were found, at us none was. The only difference is that here the house is EMF shielded.. Vets were instructed to cover these, they have to warn everyone that raw meat is dangerous. Same happening in Hungary with dogs now.
.
Here they changed the low/regulation to force everyone under the council eyes supported by law and guidance which is such a mess that even big clubs can’t agree how to interpret while the council tyrannical officer can interpret it as one wishes. The goal is not even the extra tax but to ruin the small for ‘factories’ and CONTROL. Of course the factories will be ruined, too but for now they are needed for herding everyone to the same camp, later will be much easier to finish them all in the mighty name of carbon footprint.
Probably this is why it is such a mess, the buddies can carry on, the rest are doomed.

I’ve never seen anything like this, not even socialist countries, the law and regulations were clear without place to misinterpret. No officer (there called WORKER) had the power of a king.

I am sure that the compulsory chips have a role in this. How comfortable to tag then target and shot.

Raj,

I am so glad that you are skeptical on this.

As for me, I know (sounds arrogant-I grant you that!) that the Earth is geocentric-not heliocentric. Yes, you are so right about the fact “NASA faked the moon landing.”

You are also correct about the “land based equipment”, for if there were all that space junk up there as we are led to believe (decommissioned space satellites), why then the need to erect 5/6G masts everyplace? Why not beam it down from above? They can’t-that is why!

The only satellites up there are held up by helium balloons.

Hi Islander,
You just reminded me.
I was making a delivery in Lincolnshire, using my mobile to get talked in.
The phone went dead, I was in a valley.
I called at a local factory to ask for directions.
Straight away, they said mobiles did not work in the valley.
They let me use the landline phone, without even asking, a normal event.`

Mrs. D!

The Bible describes the sun and moon as lights, see Genesis 1:14-18, that is what they are-period! The moon can often be seen in daytime as you have observed-how then is it a reflected light? The moon emits its own light, like the sun, perhaps even heat? but certainly nowhere near as hot as the sun!

There is something else I’d like to add about Satan’s seductive music, maybe later/tomorrow.

Broadband over power lines also radiates a high level of incidental (not serving the final goal) EMF energy. The power lines are not shielded to contain the EMF (unless they’re buried). Also, the couple/decoupler units emit high levels of EMF (located mostly in power substations).

I looked online to see if I could find the book and found a 2017 book on geocentrism and wondered if the author, Robert Sungenis, was you. But I looked him up and a few clues from his biography indicated that he pretty much definitely isn’t you 😉.

Interestingly, anyone against the geocentric model can supposedly go to claim the 1000 smackers prize that Sungenis’ group, Catholic Apologetics International, has offered to anyone who could prove that the Earth moves around the Sun.

Not quite as big a prize as the 1.5 million that samueleckert dot net is offering for proof of the existence of COVID but still worth mailing an envelope with proof off to, if anyone has it.

By “lies” I mean these two statements of yours –

– “why then the need to erect 5/6G masts everyplace? Why not beam it down from above? They can’t-that is why!” – LIE! They can beam it down from above – that is what the Iridium mobile phone system does – it is a satellite based system.

– “The only satellites up there are held up by helium balloons.” – LIE! Idiot – helium balloons can’t go that high. The air is too thin. Search using – “What is the maximum altitude for helium balloons?”

Misinformation at 14m 20s – Rocket Propulsion – he says, “Space is a vacuum. How can you push against nothing?”

The ignorant will be fooled by that question.

A rocket doesn’t need something to push against. Even in the lower atmosphere, the flames of a rocket do not push against the air. A rocket works on the principle of – every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

The blast from the engine pushes against the inside of the rocket and that is the force that pushes the rocket along.

I only had time to skip through this, but I will find the time to go through all of it and explain why the rest is bluff and misinformation intended to bamboozle people.

I’ve had a bit of time to look at some of that video. It starts with the issue of temperature. He claims that space is too hot – that satellites would melt.

NASA explains – “the temperature in this layer can reach up to 4,500 degrees Fahrenheit. If you were to hang out in the thermosphere, though, you would be very cold because there aren’t enough gas molecules to transfer the heat to you” – from –

https://spaceplace.nasa.gov/thermosphere/en/

This site a bit more to say about it – https://scied.ucar.edu/learning-zone/atmosphere/layers-earths-atmosphere

So, there is an explanation that shows how satellites can exist up there – there aren’t enough air molecules to transfer the heat – they say – but I’m not satisfied. I am a seeker of truth and a critical thinker. My thought was – if the radiation from the sun heats the air molecules won’t it also heat the molecules of the satellites?

I need to find out. That means more reading, which means more time.

Notice that I have an inquiring mind and an open mind. I am not a bigot like many on here. I am a seeker if truth.

Finding out isn’t easy – here is one snag – misinformation.

This site – https://earthhow.com/thermosphere/ – claims that GPS satellites are in low Earth orbit. From my knowledge of satellites, I knew that wasn’t true.

Here is the correct information – https://www.gps.gov/systems/gps/space/ – they are about 12,500 miles away, and not just a few hundred miles up in low Earth orbit. Anyone with knowledge of orbital mechanics will know why that is.

By the way, someone made a comment about their sat dish not pointing up to the sky. Do you have an inquiring and open mind as I do, did you look up why that is?

As soon as I find the answer to my query I will let you know and that includes reporting that I couldn’t find a satisfactory answer if that is the case.

Back to the video – at 5 mins – making in an issue out of the lack of photographs of satellites in space – we have computer generated images not photographs. This is supposed to be evidence that satellites don’t exist!

I suppose you dimwits sit back and accept it.

Think about it – you can only have photographs if there is another spacecraft nearby to take the picture. That is why we don’t have actual photographs of satellites such as the Hubble or James Webb out in space. There has been no other spacecraft there to take the picture, but we do have photographs of the ISS because other spacecraft go to it and take photographs.

So this is what you get from me – reasoned debate and information backed up with evidence. From demented Demeter you get insistence that he is right and don’t dare to try to debate or he will accuse you of being mentally unbalanced, despicable and lots of other mockery and insults. He cannot stand anyone having a different point of view to his.

I downvoted, sorry, only one reason: Who ever look into the proof of flat earth, realizes that it’s indeed flat. Don’t go for info to the Flatearth Society, they are there to mislead you. Eric Dubay, FlatEarth Dave, Spacebusters, Aewar or Ewaranon’ series ‘What on Earth happened’ and ‘The lost history of the flat earth’.

But even with common sense – but we were indoctrinated since early childhood. Water is always flat. The angle of the rays of sunlight makes calculation possible, 5500 km away but 660666 something away. The moon is transparent early morning when the sun is just rose up. Sometimes you see both in the sky hence the ‘shadow’ covering the moon partially can’t be the earth’. There is no gravity but density, The earth have a charge -, you have a charge slightly +.

If the Earth is flat, then where does the sun go to when it goes down at night and then rises the next day? What is on the underside of the “flat” earth?

Being a globe revolving around the sun explains the seasons and why, when it is summer in Europe it is winter in Australia and vice verse.

How does the ridiculous “flat Earth” drivel explain the seasons?

The sun goes in circle above the earth. You see as it goes down because of perspective, the limits of your eye, similarly to a long road’ lightnings, at the end they are meet in one point. From farther you can’t see the light.

Water, the barrier which holds it a giant ice wall, circle called Antarctica – the real reason why no one allowed to go there. There is a dome above, and water below. All proven, sorry, if you want to know more go after it, I gave names where to.

Regarding the sun moving in a circle and perspective.

I pointed out that the sun goes down in the west and reappears in the east. I asked, if the Earth is flat, where does the sun go to when it goes down in the west? (That leads to questions for another time, questions such as how thick is the ground under this flat Earth and what is on the underside.)

Abigail told me that the sun does not go down over the horizon. It circles in the sky and we only think we see it going down due to perspective.

So the sun stays in the sky and going down over the horizon is an illusion.

I was out walking last night and it was dark – night – but according to Abigail night is just an illusion due to perspective.

I try to be open minded, but I’m finding that hard to take in.

Now, night comes later in summer and earlier in winter. The days grow shorter under the shortest day and then start getting longer again. Does the sun slow down and speed up as it circles above the flat Earth?

Perhaps I will find the answers when I watch more of the flat Earth videos, but if anyone can provide the answers now, I would be grateful.

Water is flat? Yes, on a lake or a pond, but are you claiming that the seas and oceans are flat?

You need to speak to a sailor. They know about the horizon and ships just out of sight over the horizon were a major issue in naval warfare.

“How did ships acquire targets beyond the horizon in WWI?”

You need to speak to a pilot or airline navigator and ask about Great Circles.

Abigail said something about sailors saying the Earth is flat. Those sailors must have forgotten what they were taught about navigation, because the stars provide evidence of the Earth being a globe –

“How to Navigate by the Stars” – and in it – “According to the Royal Naval Academy, 58 stars are handy for navigation.”

https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/52041/how-navigate-stars

“How constellations help navigators?” – and in it – “Hundreds of years ago, people made tools to navigate with that could measure angles between the stars and the horizon —this way they could do some calculations and figure out their latitude. ”

https://celestialtoday.com/constellations-help-navigators/

Note these two words – latitude and horizon – so celestial navigation works on a globe, would it work on a flat Earth?

It’s NOT a matter of belief, it’s a matter of proof. Since the Nikon P900 nothing disappears on the horizon. All of the official documents of NASA and others connected to rockets, whatever use ‘a flat NON rotating earth’ in their calculations. Video proof how the NASA rocket tried to break the firmament. Operation FISHBOWL (the earth) and Operation Dominic (the creator of the firmament) During the Blue Earth camera work a deep special submarine’ staff stumbled into a water below the normal sea water, they recorded it.
Just recently a flight carried on its route from Singapore till Germany for 8 hours with a DEAD woman sitting next to her child because they didn’t dare to land in Russia (on a flat earth) on a normal earth the route were full with friendly countries for emergency landing.
Even the TUI thinks the earth is flat, on their inflight monitors when they show the flight route, what is the long green line stretching horizontally at the bottom where Antarctica should be?

Great circles PROVE that the Earth is a globe. Pilots know it.

“Great Circle Routes Explained

In a flight path from New York to Madrid, if I asked you which line is shorter, you’d say the straight one, right?

comment image

However, a straight line in a 2-dimensional map is not the same as a straight line on a 3-dimensional globe.

This is why flight paths travel along an arc between an origin and a destination.” – from –

https://gisgeography.com/great-circle-geodesic-line-shortest-flight-path/

That article explains it very simply and has good graphics that make it easy to understand.

Sadly, I doubt that Abigail will understand. It is clear from the tone of her language and her phrasing that she has been brainwashed by claptrap and is now totally deluded – possibly beyond help.

Over what distances are they firing? You say “army”, so they won’t be firing ICBMs. Over short distances the curvature does not need to be taken into account.

I doubt that even ICBMs need to take the curvature of the Earth into account.

Planes fly around the world at around 30,000 to 35,000 feet maintaining a consistent altitude, varying it only due to atmospheric conditions. Staying at 30,000 feet is apparently “level” flight.  Is that is evidence that the Earth is flat?

Take a dinner plate and put it face down on a sheet of paper. Get a pencil and put the point on the paper exactly one inch away from the left side of the plate.

Draw a line from the left side of the plate around the top and then to the right side of the plate keeping the point of the pencil exactly one inch from the edge of the plate as you draw. You have drawn half of a circle by maintaining a consistent distance from the plate.

If an ICBM flies consistently at 50,000 feet, it can fly thousands of miles to reach its target with no need for any calculations to do with the curvature of the Earth, other than using longitude and latitude.

“what is the long green line stretching horizontally at the bottom where Antarctica should be?” – you are determined to delude yourself. Does it mean anything? Look at the map of the London Underground. The lines don’t run as you see them, it is not geographically accurate – it is not meant to be. It is simply a schematic diagram intended to be easy to follow to find connections. You could probably turn that into an argument that the London Underground does not exist.

Abigail told us that there is no such thing as gravity. The pulling force is actually “charge”. I presume she means either electrostatic charge or possibly a charge from the electric field.

I am open-mind (unlike Demented who is an arrogant bigot and a bully). I have doubts about conventional theories of gravity. I am open-minded about the theory that rather being a pulling force, gravity is actually a pushing force. Space has some force or field that pushes downwards.

So it is with an inquiring and open mind that I discuss where Abigail has gone wrong.

Firstly, Charge is real. “Coulomb’s inverse-square law, or simply Coulomb’s law, is an experimental law[1] of physics that calculates the amount of force between two electrically charged particles at rest. This electric force is conventionally called electrostatic force or Coulomb force.[2] Although the law was known earlier, it was first published in 1785 by French physicist Charles-Augustin de Coulomb. Coulomb’s law was essential to the development of the theory of electromagnetism and maybe even its starting point,[1] as it allowed meaningful discussions of the amount of electric charge in a particle.[3] ”

Also, read about electroscopes, electrometers and the work of men such as William Gilbert, John Canton, Abraham Bennett and others.

So – charge is real. What has happened is that Abigail has been fooled by some flat Earth drivel that used real science but then told lies about it, just like I showed in that video that said that rockets cannot work in space. It gave misinformation and bluff about the principle behind rocket engines. The video was meant to mislead gullible people.

Too many people sit and watch stuff like that and don’t examine the “facts” that are presented. They sit back and says” Oh yes, I can see that” even when totally false information is being given. They lack the knowledge to see through the bluff.

If there was no such thing as gravity and the effect was really charge, wouldn’t Faraday, Maxwell, Tesla, Kelvin, Gauss and other great minds who worked in that field, have worked out that gravity is actually a charge? Of course they would.

Abigail You told us that the Sun does not go down below the horizon, it moves in a circle above the flat Earth. Consider this – in winter, at more northerly latitudes, the days are shorter. The Earth being a globe on a tilted axis explains that, how does your circulating Sun explain it? Surely if the Sun is just going round in a circle, then the days are the same length everywhere.

So they faked the Moon landings did they? So how did the laser reflectors get there? They were placed there by the Apollo 11 crew.

“Scientists have been using reflectors on the Moon since the Apollo era to learn more about our nearest neighbor. It’s a fairly straightforward experiment: Aim a beam of light at the reflector and clock the amount of time it takes for the light to come back. Decades of making this one measurement has led to major discoveries.”

You can see satellites – you can see the ISS. The Starlink satellites move across the sky as strings of star-like shining dots. Lookup the times when they can be seen. Search using “When will the ISS be visible over” followed by your location.

“all communications are done using equipment on land” – let’s see you get a mobile signal on the top of Everest using masts. But you can get a signal from the Iridium satellites.

“my Sky satellite dish does not point upwards which you would think it would if it was receiving from a satellite” – you are devaluing this site with tosh like this. Do a bit of reading to see why your dish points in the direction it does point. You have just proved that know nothing about geostationary orbits versus low Earth orbits, you know nothing about satellites. Try telling the Russians that satellites don’t exist and their satellites in Molniya orbits aren’t really spying on the USA.

Your comments stem from ignorance.

Broadband over power lines (BPL) is a method of power-line communication (PLC) that allows relatively high-speed digital data transmission over public electric power distribution wiring. BPL uses higher frequencies, a wider frequency range, and different technologies compared to other forms of power-line communications to provide high-rate communication over longer distances. BPL uses frequencies that are part of the radio spectrum allocated to over-the-air communication services; therefore, the prevention of interference to, and from, these services is a very important factor in designing BPL systems.

There are two main categories of BPL: in-house and access. In-house BPL is broadband access within a building or structure using the electric lines of the structure to provide the network infrastructure. Access BPL is the use of electrical transmission lines to deliver broadband to the home. Access BPL is considered a viable alternative to Cable or DSL to provide the ‘final mile’ of broadband to end users.[1]

Data Distribution: Once demodulated, the data packets are forwarded to the connected routers or networking devices. These devices handle the distribution of the internet connection to various devices within the premises, such as computers, smartphones, or smart home devices. The router or networking devices act as gateways for data transmission and reception.
Repeaters and Amplifiers: In larger BPL deployments, repeaters or amplifiers may be installed along the power lines to boost the signal strength and extend coverage. These devices ensure that the BPL signals maintain sufficient quality and reach distant locations. Repeaters receive and regenerate the BPL signals, enabling their propagation over longer distances without significant degradation.

Are there power lines running up mountains or across oceans? I know there are undersea cables but they are telecomms not power lines.

You can get an Iridium signal at the top of any mountain in the world or in the middle of the oceans – because Iridium is a satellite mobile phone system.

Brad, all factual but missing the point. EMF impacts human physiology in several ways, one of which being forcing open the cell membranes thereby allowing calcium to flood into the cells. The cells’ reaction to this is to create reactive oxygen species, which results in oxidative stress. While true that there are ways to deliver broadband other than over-the-air, the point of the report is that health is being damaged in proportion to increasing EMF exposures.

I see – what you have been brainwashed into believing is truth and nothing else is.

That article explains it very simply and has good graphics that make it easy to understand.

Sadly, I doubt that Abigail will understand. It is clear from the tone of her language and her phrasing that she has been brainwashed by claptrap and is now totally deluded – possibly beyond help.

There is no Hubble Telescope but a special plane of the NASA carrying a telescope named SOPHIA. You’ll find this info on the NASA’s site. NASA fakes the images for billions (by tax) while many created the same (Hubble like images) with a simple app on a mobile phone.

They even mockingly told that they do this work for a couple of thousands.

‘Progress’ they call it. In truth we progress by standing in the same place imprinting a bigger hole in the ground which is now burying us. We have progressed from bow and arrow to nuclear bombs. But we have never progressed beyond division and war. Our progress is a continuity of mistakes. Our society is a reflection of a divided psychological nature. We have been educated to living memory and ‘success’ and to follow authority. Instilled during twelves years of memorising in school years. A pattern of living in a continual state of memory becomes the operation of our brain and approach to life. Thought, is memory in automated societal programmed function. Doubt it? Then think of my face. You can’t. But if you see me, you can, because thought is memory. You cant stop thinking, it goes on during the night – it’s a societal programmed psychological limitation to life. We are living in memories of the past. If programmed to ‘success’ in life, this is a movement of continuity of days past into a conceptual future, a modified continuity of the past it came from. No one has the same past, this fragments the human race into blllions of pieces travelling in different directions. Focussed now on what is coming we correspondingly ignore what is here. We seek ‘prosperity’, but we seek it only for our own lives, waste our energies in battle against others doing the same, which could easily all be used to bring prosperity to the lives of all, were we not now so psychologically isolated in our own thinking. We are all looking to a time other than now for our fulfilment, all focussed on a projected view arising from continuity of isolated past experiences. The seeking of success destroys all relationship. Likely our education was designed to mess up our lives, John D. Rockefeller played a role here. We are likely living in closing days of humanity. Human ‘consciousness’ has led us here. Thanks to society’s largest ‘success’ stories. Society’s greatest failure. If any chance remains of climbing out of our hole remains, the revolution we need is in our communal programmed consciousness. Humanity acts from thinking, and we all think differently because we all have had different past experiences. We no longer see life as it is, we see it as we think about it. We see it through the past. As it is is the very same for each one of us.

Do remember Dave, we had a good discussion on that thread. Pretty sure we have a similar, strong appreciation for our natural environment, so really notice the vile, deleterious changes taking place.

Which started very quickly after lockdown began, the Scum were free to go into overdrive on the destruction of our more healthy environment. And they did. Noticed change really quickly, by the Summer of ’20 i could see worrying changes in the habits of local wildlife, particularly the absence of nesting pigeons on our balconies.

Think it’s take your pick as to the causes of these evil, distressing changes, they have a considerable array of tools to roll them out. And it truly grieve me seeing it happen.

The scriptures 2 peter is taken out of context.
The earth is “NOT” literally destroyed.

Ecclesiastes 1:4
A generation goes, and a generation comes, but the earth remains forever

Matthew 6:9-10
Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

The wicked are destroyed not the earth.

2 Peter 2:6
If by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly

Isaiah 24: 1-23
The Lord Will Destroy the Earth

So the Lord will send a curse on the earth.
Its people will pay for what they’ve done.
They will be burned up.
Very few of them will be left.

The Sons name is Yahshua (not) Jesus
The Father’s name is Yahweh.

Where did I say the Earth will be “literally destroyed”?

As a premillennial Christian, I believe God in Christ Jesus will inaugurate His literal 1000 year reign upon His soon coming Second Advent-it is only after the 1000 years that the new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness (2 Peter 3:13) will be created. See also Isaiah 65:17, 66.22, & Revelation 21:1.

The EMF problems aren’t emanating from the Starlink antennas (“dishes”). The Starlink systems also include a Wi-Fi system integrated into the modulator-demodulator (“modem”) unit. Most people who use Starlink use the integrated Wi-Fi.

A typical Wi-fi system (whether Starlink or any other) will radiate far outside of the walls of the dwelling in which it originates. Most people are not aware of how they can limit the output power of their Wi-fi, or even that they should.

For most people, “more power is better,” not understanding that EMF energy does damage to all living things – plants, animals, people, pollinators. It’s misguided to blame the external, visible Starlink antennas when the damage is coming from the Wi-fi inside the house. Focus attempts to mitigate EMF exposure on the actual sources of the EMF is you want to succeed.

Good morning Islander and Abigail, personally have respect for Watcher Seeker, he usually posts intelligent, rational comments. However, think we all have pretty blind areas at times, until we realise they don’t cut the mustard for ourselves.

He doesn’t see that we’re indoctrinated with the belief of a global earth from infancy, no other model is to be tolerated let alone believed. The “information” he throws out is useless for convincing such as us, as it’s provided by those who benefit from the indoctrination. Personally think when something is presented as sacrosanct and alternative views are literally forbidden, it should make us really suspicious why that “should” be.

Accepted the idea of a global earth myself until the middle of the last decade, although i questioned the moon landings etc for about 15 years before that. Still don’t fully accept the idea of a flat earth but think it’s more probable than a spherical earth. This is the video which really got me thinking:

Once again you’re quoting information which is the equivalent of the Covid fakedemic. Thankfully, there was a plethora of evidence proving that was b.s, for those whose info resources stretched beyond media mouthpieces. Even mainstream medics questioned the narrative, many releasing videos demonstrating it was rubbish.

There is no mainstream narrative questioning a spherical earth, anyone who dares to suggest otherwise is fiercely attacked and ridiculed. Sadly, most people are pretty cowardly, or so indoctrinated they don’t even question it, which is pretty frightening. You have the luxury of spouting information which is from a tightly controlled, mainstream narrative, most people don’t even know there are other, equally worthy theories. Biggest problem being you have to dig deep to find out about them.

Surprised and really disappointed you’re so blinkered and dogmatic on this, it’s definitely lowered my opinion of you.

Will try to correctly post a couple of memes using H.L Mencken quotes about education.

“Surprised and really disappointed you’re so blinkered and dogmatic on this” – it is you who is blinkered and dogmatic. What I said about helium balloons is simple physics – it’s about density. Helium balloons float in air because helium is less dense than air, but above 20 miles, the air is very thin and less dense, so helium cannot float.

As for the rest of the flat Earth guff – you act like the blinkered and dogmatic Catholic church did hundreds of years ago accusing men of being heretics – men of genius who worked out the truth about the Earth and the sun. This debate was ended hundreds of years ago because the scientific proof won out over religious claptrap and we have seen how much regard the Catholic church has for truth in the way it covered up priests abusing children.

Are you denying the physics of floatation? Do you believe that a helium balloon can float in air that is less dense than helium? At the altitudes that a balloon would need to float to keep up “satellites”, as some here are claiming, the air is very thin and less dense than helium.

Are you going to accuse me of being emotional and having a hissy fit just because I believe that something can only float in something that has a greater density?

You oaf helium balloons can’t go that high. The air is too thin. Search using – “What is the maximum altitude for helium balloons?”

I usually speak to people politely and with respect, but when someone post blatant lies in an attempt to mislead and to fool others into their ways of deluded thinking, then a harsh response is appropriate, they deserve it.

I’m thinking it interesting to figure out the chemtrail load in that area, proximity to military installations etc. Sure, 5G is whack, just please rein in the sensationalist headlines as there is zero proof.

How unbearably dreadful! The poor animals! My heart goes out to the poor people looking after the animals. I do not know how Mary has managed to keep going, the poor lady. I send my love and condolences to her and all others suffering this way.
The worst thing is I cannot imagine that the people concerned will withdraw the dishes or this type of EMF technology.
The people making money from it do not care about animals.

Think Abigail is probably fully aware of this purported information. When one questions the spherical earth dogma, it’s necessary to demonstrate such info could be wrong.

Alternative, at least equally valid information has been posted by some people, including myself. However, it’s necessary to do some serious research with an open mind, any alternative which challenges what can only be described as indoctrination, isn’t easy to find. However, a fair few pointers to such information have been posted.

What you mean is that you think it is all right for you to persist in insisting that your opinion is correct and the opposing view is wrong and anyone who doesn’t agree with you is un-balanced.

Morning Mrs. D!

As a product of the State Education System, I have spent the last 22 years unlearning most of what I had hitherto ‘learned’ from that system, especially in science/physics, history, and geography.

State Education System? Mark-that is a loaded statement, in view of what the state are doing to us through its many channels!

If the State Education System tells us the Earth is a spinning ball, then it must be so!

In regards to the shape of terra firma, of course it is not flat-there are hills, mountains, valleys all over the Earth!

My compass (as always) is the abiding Word of God; there are some seventy verses which speak of the motion of the sun and the moon, but you will search the sacred narrative in vain for just one verse that suggests the Earth moves-earthquakes apart!

Morning Mrs. D! (Or should I say Miss. Marple!).

I’ll look at that video later.

So far, I have been called various names such as “oaf” and “fool”, but I can assure you I have been called a LOT, LOT worse to my face and on other sites-words that I won’t repeat here!!

No one can put WS down for his lack of zeal, that’s for sure! And if he were ever to adopt a geocentric mindset, I am sure he wouldn’t be so rash with his future opponents on this?

Talking about zeal, there is such a thing as “zeal without knowledge” see Romans 10:2. And the man that said this (Paul) should know, for before his conversion he went about persecuting and killing Christians!

There is, however, a commendation from the Lord for having great zeal, read Revelation 3:15-16-and WS is certainly not lukewarm!

Rhoda, I certainly agree.

Prior to becoming a flerfer (as they call us!) I thought flat earthers were mad, and needed locking up for their own safety!

But as a man with no PhD’s and one O level pass grade B to his name, I had nothing to lose by believing in a geocentric Earth.

Not only this, as a Bible believing Christian, it became a game changer to me-for when I read verses such as Revelation 6:13: and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth.. how does this work if we believe that the stars in the night sky are gigantic balls of gas that dwarf Earth, billions of miles, nay light years away from us? Rather than spiritualise away these sacred words, we can take them literally.

Yes, it’s not good :(.

The Illuminati playing cards are quite intriguing. The first deck made was in 1982 and has one card called “Flat Earthers”. It says on it “People laugh, but the flat earthers know something.

Another card called “And STAY Dead!” on it has a picture of someone with a remarkable resemblance to Julian Assange on it.

Those 2 cards may have been made later than 1982 but it appears that they were made long before Julian Assange or flat earthers became as big as they’ve become. Quite amazing. Considering how much the Illuminati cards have seem to have ‘predicted’ about how the world is now going, it is intriguing what they were hinting with the line “the flat earthers know something.

I post facts and links to educational sites that back up things I say – facts and scientific evidence, and yet I get accused of being emotional.

Note how emotional my accusers are. Look at the tone in their posts. It true that I had a few harsh words for one person, but that was because he posted a blatant lie – he said that it isn’t possible to transmit mobile phone signals from satellites, but you can do that, and the Iridium system does it. Has he apolgised for posting a lie? My words were only mildly harsh and slightly abrupt – if can’t take that you need to grow up and be a mature adult.

But back to facts, evidence, science, logic and proof.

In one post, Abigail said it is all about “proof”. She regards anything she posts as proof and anything else is false. If she likes it is is true – if she doesn’t like it then it isn’t true – how very scientific! And the others are just the same – they post in a bigoted and almost belligerent tone and they have the nerve to make accusations about my state of mind and emotions – absolute hypocrites – as bigots usually are.

I find it suspicious about how quickly they adopted the ad hominem attacks – that is a sign of people who know that the other side has stronger evidence, so they resort to attacking the person rather than what they say. They know that their evidence is stronger.

In one post Abigail said that the sun goes around in a circle (I’d like to know what holds it up). When it is pointed out that we see the sun rise in the east and go down below the horizon in the west, Abigail tells us to not believe our lying eyes – it doesn’t really happen – our eyes lie to us. Denial of facts is another tactic of bigots and the brainwashed. I would strongly deny that I am a bigot, as I have, in the past, changed on my views on some major issues when presented with new evidence and if the evidence for a flat Earth was conclusive, then I am open-minded enough to change my views on this topic.

These flat Earth people are in denial of the great discoveries made by men of genius – Galileo, Copernicus, Herschel, Newton and others. Why? They are either dimwits who have been brainwashed by claptrap or they have some hidden agenda in forcing their warped views on others.

Someone said he was worried about my state of mind.

It was my analytical mind and scepticism of things we are told to believe that enabled me to see through the global warming \ climate change lie \ hoax, and in 2020, to see through the coronavirus lies. Being a sceptic with a scientific and analytical mind I could tell that the scary footage was fake and a deliberate attempt at scaremongering (which SAGE eventually admitted). Not wanting to fool myself, I constantly re-evaluated the news coverage and reassessed my views to avoid confirmation bias.

I am still analytical and a sceptic of things were are told to believe.

Whoever said that he was worried about my state of mind ought to have more concern for the flat Earthers on here who show no sign of rational examination of evidence, of open-mindedness nor of any tolerance. Their haste in resorting to the tactics of mockery and personal insults, and even sometimes bordering on quite abusive, is a revealing sign that something is not right – whether that be their mental state or harbouring a secret agenda.

Now I’ve told a “blatant lie”?

I have just re-read the comment you have referred to. I said in my reply to Mr. Patel:

“Why not beam it down from above? They can’t, that is why!”

I don’t doubt that signals can be beamed down from a helium balloon, airplane, or any other self-propelled flying machine, no not for one second! You know exactly what I was referring to; a freely orbiting satellite flying in ‘outer space’ as we are led to believe them to be.

There is no “blatant lie”, if I had to qualify every comment, this old donkey would be writing comments as long as yours!

Regarding the Copernican/Galilean heliocentric deception that was foisted upon us through the auspices of the Roman Catholic Church back in the dark ages; this was a rehashed ancient Greek (Eratosthenes 300 BC) theory. Newton was an occultist with heretical views on the blessed Trinity, he just ran with it. The rest is history, as they say.

I may put something further on this if time allows.

Watcher Seeker

I still haven’t had time to watch the rest of this satellites and rockets video, but hope to find time today.

Regarding the temperature in the thermosphere and why don’t spacecraft melt? Many sites just say the same thing – it is to do with the very thin air and not enough air molecules to conduct heat. I found one that explained how it is to do with the difference between temperature and heat.

That made think of how people can be baffled by things, or how things can seem intuitively wrong – some things need further explanation. For example, which do you think would be the most deadly – a shock from a 230V supply or getting a 50,000 volt shock?

I have had a 50,000 volt shock (it stung a bit, but was only slightly painful) but I wouldn’t dare to touch live 230V wires in my house. How can 230v be deadly when 50,000V is not? Anyone who has been involved with testing electrical insulation on high voltage cables will know how.

I’ve seen a comment on flat Earther site (not this site) spouting absolute drivel about how long distance flights prove that the Earth is flat.

The argument was that pilots try to maintain consistent altitude, usually 30,000 to 35,000 feet but varying it only due to atmospheric conditions. Staying at the same altitude is apparently “level” flight, proving that the Earth is flat.

I smashed that to smithereens with a simple example.

You have drawn half of a circle.

If pilots keep an aircraft consistently at 30,000 feet, they can fly thousands of miles with no need for any calculations to do with the curvature of the Earth, other than using longitude and latitude.

The problem is that other people read the sort of drivel that was in that comment and they don’t think critically. They don’t think at all, they read it and think, “Oh yeah, that proves all right” and the falsehoods spread like a disease.

Watcher Seeker

I’ve had a bit of time to look at some of that video that I mentioned earlier – “Satellite Hoax Satellites Do Not Exist! must watch”

This is the video – “Satellite Hoax Satellites Do Not Exist! must watch”

Note how Demented has made insinuations about my state of mind.

That was a tactic used against vaxx truthers. I saw that sort of claim made against Dr. Mike Yeaden, Dr John Campbell and others – accusations that somehow they have become misguided, unbalanced or other terms. That was to put people off from listening to what they had to say.

Using that tactic says a lot about Demented.

You daren’t answer the questions because the evidence blows the flat Earth theory out of the water, so instead you deflect from my points with the sort of shameful tricks you are pulling here.

I post questions that present valid points and they give people the chance to post rebuttals to my points. It is called debate, something you falsely claim that I don’t do. You make that false claim because have no rebuttal, so you try that sly trick to weasel your way out of debating. You accuse me of not debating, but it is you who avoids real debate. Most of your posts are mockery, insults, abusive remarks and false accusations.

By the way – “why do you try to force people to answer questions” – my reply is in answer to your question – why do you ask questions. Back at you.

In a recent post by Demented – “Can see Watcher Seeker ignored my good advice” (see quite a way above).

The arrogant tone in his posts has been obvious to all but his chum who joins in with the mockery and insults (about my state of mind, etc.) but this new remark shows clearly why he persists in this campaign of provocation and harassment against me – I didn’t obey his orders and he is upset and angry because I didn’t do as he ordered.

Ordered? Yes, ordered. He says it was advice, but when we give advice we must understand that people are free to accept or reject advice.

If they choose to reject it, we shouldn’t get angry and start abusing them – but he has, because he so arrogant that he expects everyone to obey his orders.

Demented has resorted to mockery, insults and abuse, and in colluding with his chum in encouraging each other with their mockery, also resorted to the tactics of the bu_lly – bu_ll_ies – types who like pushing people around if they don’t do as they are told.

A few days ago, as part of the flat Earth debate, I pointed out that the sun goes down in the west and reappears in the east.

Search above for “perspective”.

I look forward to reading that, as, for the last few years, I have had great doubts about dark matter.

My doubts started after I read of how the theory of dark matter came into existence.

Being an open-minded thinker who is not brainwashed by the adulatory PR that Einstein gets, I have many doubts about Einstein. I am also suspicious of Vera Rubin’s work dark matter.

Regarding “adulatory PR” – the Daily Mail very often has articles shouting about how Einstein was right, “Einstein proved right again!” and similar headlines about new cosmic observations that led to discoveries or new theories – but they never report on the things that Einstein got wrong. As just one example, I believe he said that his biggest mistake was in including the cosmological constant.

I have spent many hours studying Einstein, very many, not in awe of the man but with a critical mind.

I would love to talk about Einstein, but sadly, time does not permit me to say everything I would like to say, but I will post a reply once I have read your article.

I have just clicked on that article. I haven’t read it yet, but when I saw that it was from 2016 and about Erik Verlinde, I searched in my notes (notes for a novel I was writing at the time, a sci-fi based crime thriller) and found that I came across this in June, 2017.

From my notes –

“Does this new theory of gravity finally explain dark matter?”

“University of Amsterdam professor Erik Verlinde describes his theory of gravity and how it differs from that of Einstein and Newton.”

Boring.

“Einstein’s gravity theory could be wrong as new theory passes first test”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7XH-bsso54

— end of my notes from June 2017.

I must go out now, but when I return, I will read the article to remind myself of the details.

In my notes I came across my notes on Vera Rubin, Burkhard Heim and Kristian Birkeland. My goodness, there is so much I would love to talk about (and much of which I think you would agree with) but sadly – time, the great enemy.

“Genuinely asking”? I am a true seeker of truth. I have no wish to fool myself and live under delusion or falsehood. If the Earth really is flat then I want to know about it.

You, on the other hand, show the qualities of a bigot who does not want too know. I present evidence to back up my words but you dismiss it as “brainwashing” by the education system and history. A bigot is someone who is so fixed in their views that they dismiss and ignore evidence.

In a posting you made some remark about the Moon being visible during the day. What was your point?

Did you do some reading to try to find out why, or did you not want to because what discover might not fit in with your flat Earth beliefs?

You say, “I will not allow you this moon diversion now, that is a separate topic for another time.” – firstly, it is not a separate topic (unlike dark matter which is), it is relevant the flat Earth issue, but since you have no answer (it proves you wrong), you try this trick, a false claim to wriggle out of it.

Secondly – oh my word – look at the language – “I will not allow you” – YOU will not allow. You prove me right when I say you are arrogant. If your “I decide what you may or may not talk about” attitude isn’t utter arrogance, then what is.

You use your sly tricks to wriggle out of the points I make because you have no rational rebuttals. My points prove you wrong and so you use avoidance, deflection, false claims and other sneaky tactics – the tactics of a hypocrite, a charlatan and and a scoundrel.

The stars provide evidence of the Earth being a globe. The northern hemisphere has Polaris, the North star, and Usra Major points to it. Those stars are NOT visible in the southern hemisphere. The southern hemisphere has the Southern Cross – which is MOT visible in the northern hemisphere.

“The northern hemisphere night sky: the stars, planets and galaxies to look out for this winter”

https://www.advnture.com/features/northern-hemisphere-night-sky

The stars prove that the Earth is a globe. Being a globe explains why some stars and constellations can be seen from the northern hemisphere but cannot be seen from the southern hemisphere, and vice versa.

The northern hemisphere has Polaris, the North star, and Ursa Major points to it. Those stars are NOT visible in the southern hemisphere. The southern hemisphere has the Southern Cross – which is NOT visible in the northern hemisphere.

“The northern hemisphere night sky: the stars, planets and galaxies to look out for this winter”

https://www.advnture.com/features/northern-hemisphere-night-sky

The Moon also is also evidence of the Earth being a globe. Demented commented on the Moon as though there was something odd about it being visible during the day. He didn’t tell us where he thinks it should be during the day.

I picked up on his comment and tried to debate the point. He had no answer and so he pulled one of his sly tricks, he threw a hissy fit (his expression, see his post above) and told me that, get this, he would not allow me to talk about the Moon.

So, a hissy fit and hypocrisy – he talked about the Moon but he won’t allow me to talk about the Moon.

When I pointed out his hypocrisy, he used the avoidance tactic and rather than address the truth of what he had done, he resorted to mockery and abuse. This is all there for you to see in his posts.

Hello Mrs. D!

Still slugging it out with WS?

My sense of humour (I do have one you know!) perhaps isn’t so far removed from WS’s; do you recollect me addressing you as a man? I said “I thought you were a John Inman type!”, I think Inman was in the same boat as Larry Grayson!

Its very lonely down here in the Expose’s long forgotten nether regions, isn’t it?

Thought I’d pay a visit down here, as it was perhaps entirely my fault for raising the Flat Earth subject in the first place.

If I could explain every movement, and nuance thereof, of the sun, moon, and stars, wouldn’t I be God-how can this be?

It is written:

The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever.

Deuteronomy 29:29.

The heliocentric (Earth is a globe) theory is just that, a theory! And theories are what? Yes-nothing but a hypothesis, a guess, not a “thus saith the Lord.”

I won’t get wise above my station trying to explain things that can’t be explained.

How can mere men (dust of the earth) find out things too high for us?

Canst thou by searching find out God? Job 11:7.

Greetings Islander, it’s mainly a matter of principle for me, i actually stood up for him early on. There were several good discussions developing on this thread, until WS started attacking people. That’s really unacceptable to me, definitely a do not pass go moment.

Personally realised all “science” theories are myths back in the ’90s, before that i used to have New Scientist and Scientific American delivered. Don’t know if you noticed the links to good articles i posted a couple or so days ago, which even WS appreciated:

https://bigthink.com/hard-science/remarkable-new-theory-says-theres-no-gravity-no-dark-matter-and-einstein-was-wrong/

https://www.forbes.com/sites/startswithabang/2017/11/22/scientific-proof-is-a-myth/?sh=26f42142fb1b

Don’t think for a moment i waste time on here reading through his rants, just look in occasionally to see if he’s still frothing on this thread, then post a little comment or two.

Made me laugh, many do think only men or women are knowledgeable about certain things, which i think is more about conditioning than actual. What must be remembered is, as i’ve mentioned previously, i’m a full-on ENTP, the polymath version at that.

Appreciate you taking time for that comment but funnily enough, spent much more time replying to you than i do with WS. =)

Look at the bubbles in your champagne – they are spherical. That is because the pressure is applied from every point on the surface of the bubble with the SAME EXACT intensity resulting a sphere.

It is for the same reason – forces and pressure – that stars and planets are spherical, or close to being spherical. The Earth is an ‘oblate spheroid’ – slightly flattened at the poles due to the centrifugal force acting on it during its formation.

The Earth is an ‘oblate spheroid’, which, of course we commonly call a globe.

So whether it is bubbles in champagne or the heavenly bodies, there is a plausible and rather satisfying scientific explanation for them being globular, and an explanation that is easy to understand and intuitively feels right – no need for ice walls to keep the oceans from flowing away, no need for helium balloons nor any of the other misdirection and falsity that flat Earthers need to use as excuses in attempts to plug the holes in their theory – a theory based on falsehoods such as that I exposed in the video that claimed that rockets cannot work in space. He lied about the principle of rocket propulsion – misrepresented it because his whole theory was that from a con man who fools the gullible and the uninformed.

To level the playing field somewhat, it’s useful for you to know i taught myself to be ambidextrous, it’s been second nature to me for most of my life.

I was born left handed, which was really frowned upon when i was very young, so realised it was wise to adapt. Albeit via chalk and even blackboard brushes being thrown at me… Interestingly, i automatically mirror write with my left hand, Arabic style. Write beautifully, my left handed writing is lovely and legible when viewed in a mirror.

Obviously, i’ve been easily able to override my instinct to mirror write for most of my life.

A few days ago Demented made some remark about me being obsessed, couldn’t stay away, lack of self-control – something like that. Just look at the number of posts he has made – where is his self-control?

What an absolute hypocrite. He mentions the moon but when I mention it he tells that is a diversion and he “WILL NOT ALLOW” it. He posts and posts and posts, but says that I have no self-control and can’t stay away. Sheer hypocrisy from Demented – it never ends. Hilarious. He must watch this site like a hawk. Back at you.

Not only has Demented gone through a series of tactics (mockery, insults, abuse, questioning the sanity of others, false accusations, condescending and patronising remarks, name calling and attempts at hurtful comments) but he has gone through them in the sequence that any good psychologist will recognise as the classic sign of a condition that is rather worrying – a condition very close to, if not actually, being a psychopath. In layman’s terms – a demented mind – as revealed by that recognised sequence, and unlike him, I do not say this on a whim and in an attempt to hurt his feelings. It comes from knowledge.

Will add to my last comment, it’s exceptionally rare i’ve met a persona as asinine as the persona you present, on or off line.

Truly find it contemptible and feel in need of a long, hot shower after engaging with it.

The need for leap year is explained by the Earth being a revolving globe orbiting the sun. How do flat Earthers explain it?

I ask flat Earthers – what is a day?

Does that sound like a simple question, because we all know what a day is.

Your alarm clock wakes you up on a morning and the next day it wakes you up again – twenty four hours later.

So a day is 24 hours – but it isn’t. A day is 23 hours, 56 minutes and 4.0916 seconds long and difference here is why we have leap years. This time difference accumulates and so we need to add and extra day, a leap day, to soak up the extra time caused by this difference.

From Universe Today – “How long is a day on Earth? Or more specifically, how long does it take for the Earth to turn once on its axis? For all the stars to move through the sky and return to their original position? Go ahead, and yell your answer answer at the screen… 24 hours?

Wrong! It only takes 23 hours, 56 minutes and 4.0916 seconds for the Earth to turn once its axis

What you have come to understand as a “day” is classified by astronomers as a solar day. It’s the amount of time it takes for the Sun to move through the sky and return to roughly the same spot.

This is different from the amount of time it takes for the Earth to turn once on its axis – the 23 hours, 56 minutes. Also known as a sidereal day.

Why are these two numbers different? Imagine the Earth orbiting the Sun, taking a full 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes and 46 seconds to complete the entire journey. At the same time, the Earth is spinning on its axis.

Each day that goes by, the Earth needs to turn a little further for the Sun to return to the same place in the sky.… And that extra time is about 4 minutes.” – from – https://www.universetoday.com/123218/how-long-is-a-day-on-earth-2/

There is a lot more to it, see Wikipedia for the solar day, the sidereal day, the stellar day, solar time and much more on other types of day and how the Earth’s rotation comes into it –

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_time

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sidereal_time

The need for leap year is explained by the Earth being a revolving globe orbiting the sun. How do flat Earthers explain it?

“The most celebrated test of Earth’s rotation is the Foucault pendulum first built by physicist Léon Foucault in 1851, which consisted of a lead-filled brass sphere suspended 67 m from the top of the Panthéon in Paris. Because of Earth’s rotation under the swinging pendulum, the pendulum’s plane of oscillation appears to rotate at a rate depending on latitude. At the latitude of Paris the predicted and observed shift was about 11 degrees clockwise per hour. Foucault pendulums now swing in museums around the world.” from – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth%27s_rotation#Stellar_day

I wrote a long piece on how the need for leap years is explained by the Earth being a revolving globe orbiting the sun and I asked how flat Earthers explained leap years.

It was was flagged as needing approval, so I presume it will never appear.

The Northern Lights prove that the Earth is a globe.

In the late 1800s, a Norwegian scientist, Kristian Birkeland, studied the skies and he came up with a theory that explained the Northern Lights, and of course, also the southern equivalent. He explained the aurorae.

His theory explained how solar wind ions inside the earth’s magnetosphere were deflected to the poles by earth’s magnetic field.

It was a stream of magnetic particles coming from the sun and interacting with the Earth’s magnetic field that caused the aurorae.

Birkeland’s theories predicted characteristics of the magnetosphere that were later confirmed by satellite measurements of the magnetic flows.

On a flat Earth, since it has no poles, wouldn’t there be aurorae all over the night sky?

By the way, a man named Sydney Chapman tried to steal Birkeland’s theories to use as his own. He first tried to discredit Birkeland’s theories and then tried to get Birkeland erased from history. Chapman was extremely influential and he persuaded universities to remove Birkeland from their courses. Luckily, many years later when Chapman produced “his” theories, there were some who recognised them as being those of Kristian Birkeland and Birkeland was rightly credited with them.

Very silly, immature play on my user name W.S, when it’s obvious if either of us is demented, it’s you. Rhoda politely suggested you’re unintentionally drowning out comments by others, i’m sure that’s what you want to do.

You have been offered very worthy material to research by myself and others. Suggest you actually research some yourself, as we do, instead of posting your inane, repetitive, boring comments.

In Britain, our maps of the world show Britain and Europe in the middle with the Americas to the west and Asia to the east, but many Americans use world maps that show the Americas in the middle, China to the west and Europe to the east.

Here is how Americans see the world –

This is possible only if the Earth is a globe.

Start at any point on the equator, or any other latitude, and keep flying west. Eventually you will be back at the place where you started. You can’t do that on a flat Earth.

As you travel away from the equator and towards the poles, the lines of longitude get closer together. This can be explained by the Earth being a globe. How does the flat Earth theory account for that?

Demented wrote – “Another sceptic here and personally have a fascination with what’s called the moon. Either of you noticed it’s now clearly visible during the day?”.

Well Demented, where should the Moon be during the day?

Anyone who understands the Moon’s orbit knows that there is nothing odd about it being visible in daylight hours.

Your post indicates that you view it with astonishment, and that is a clear sign that you are demented – as the Bible says –

“The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:”

This morning, 31st December, I noticed how low in the sky the sun was and thought of how, in summer, at that time of day it would be much higher. I wasn’t smitten with astonishment of heart as Demented was when one day he saw the Moon. (“The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart”)

This was explained by the Earth’s orbit around the sun, by the globe’s rotation and by the tilted axis of the Earth.

Abigail told us that the Sun goes around in a circle above the flat Earth. If that is true, then how does she explain the height of the winter sun compared to the summer sun?

By the way, she also told us that the sun does NOT go down below the horizon. It is an illusion caused by perspective, she said. So presumably, when Abigail goes out at night, she tells herself that it isn’t actually dark, the night is an illusion. That seems about right for how flat Earthers think.

ABSOLUTE AND IRREFUTABLE PROOF – PROOF that Demented is a hypocrite who tries sly tricks to wriggle out of things when he has no answer. Sorry about the capitals, but in this case they are deserved.

He wrote “I will not allow you this moon diversion now, that is a separate topic for another time”.

“a separate topic for another time”? HE RAISED THE TOPIC OF THE MOON ! See the post of his (a few weeks ago) in which he makes the point about the Moon being visible during the day, as though there is something odd about that. (The Lord had smitten him – “The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart”)

It was in response to HIS POST that I asked him what his point was about the Moon. I picked up on a comment of HIS and he accuses me of switching the topic with a diversion.

The man is an UTTERLY DESPICABLE hypocrite – he will say anything, no matter how contradictory or illogical, to wriggle out of reasoned debate.

“This brought a wry smile to my face” – back at you Demented.

You know, it says a lot about character that, when he first posted about the Moon, it never occurred to me for one second to be so arrogant and controlling as to tell him that I WILL NOT ALLOW him to talk about the Moon.

About Abigail saying that the sun does not go down below the horizon, it goes round in a circle above a flat Earth. Imagine a clock face, 12 at the top, 6 at the bottom and so on, and the Sun moving clockwise. From the viewpoint of anyone standing at the 3 o’clock position, the sun rises in the north and goes down in the south. From the viewpoint of anyone standing at the 12 o’clock position, the sun rises in the west and goes down in the east! What about time zones – the sun moving from the 3 o’clock position to the 9 o’clock position is pretty much east to west, but then moving from the 9 o’clock position to from the 3 o’clock position is west to east – it’s going backwards through the time zones.
