Transport for London Data Harvesting

Transport for London (“TfL”) collects and sells commuter data to corporations for advertising purposes, without users’ consent.

TfL’s data collection includes real-time information on passenger movements in tube stations, as well as data from Smart Traffic Management Systems, which can identify people through various means such as mobile phones, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

TfL’s collection of people’s data raises concerns about data harvesting and privacy, similar to the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica scandal, and could be used to manipulate people’s behaviour and to interfere with and deny civil liberties.

As Data Centres Proliferate Across Illinois, Communities Grapple With How to Supply the Necessary Water

Once they’re online, data centres require a lot of electricity, which is helping drive rates up around the country and grabbing headlines. What gets less attention is how much water they need, both to generate that electricity and dissipate the heat from the servers powering cloud computing, storage and artificial intelligence.

A single “hyperscale” data centre can use as much water as 12,000 to 60,000 people.  Much of the water used in data centres never gets back into the watershed, particularly if the data centre uses a method called evaporative cooling.

Illinois is experiencing a surge in data centre development, with over 220 existing centres and more being built.  Communities and freshwater advocacy groups are calling for more careful consideration of where the water that supplies these data centres will come from and how it will be managed to avoid water-use conflicts and ensure sustainable supply.

The Lie of AI

The concept of artificial intelligence (“AI”) is often shrouded in sci-fi cultism, making it difficult to distinguish between its actual capabilities and the hype surrounding it.

The imposition of “AI first” policies in government and corporations is driven by a desire for technological and economic consolidation, rather than a genuine interest in efficiency and innovation.

If the focus were truly on efficiency and productivity, there would be no need to pressure the workforce into adopting AI. Any genuinely revolutionary advancements would naturally inspire workers and entrepreneurs to experiment, regardless of permission or mandates.

The reliance on AI tools can lead to dependence, atrophy of the mind and the de-skilling of professions, ultimately serving the interests of corporations rather than workers and threatening the future of humanity’s knowledge and civic, social and economic lives.

Illegal migrants have been given free TV licences and trips to go trampolining, bowling and to the cinema funded by the taxpayer, a Reform UK “DOGE” audit has found.

UK Votes To Decriminalise Late Term Abortion; It Hasn’t Gone Down Well With The Public

British MPs have voted to decriminalise abortion in England and Wales, marking a significant advancement in the murder of babies.  This decision removes the possibility of prosecuting women who procure terminations outside the legal framework, such as after the time limit or through online pill purchases, although the existing regulations, including the requirement for two doctors’ approvals, remain unchanged.

But, quite rightly, the decision hasn’t gone down well with the public.

Note: To see where this is all heading, read what was permitted in California by Governor Gavin Newsom. In 2022, Newsom signed a bill that essentially allowed infanticide.

“By failing to define what is meant by ‘perinatal death’ or ‘pregnancy-related cause’ [in Newsom’s bill], abortion survivors, preterm babies or babies with health complications could be left to die. The perinatal period is defined differently by different medical groups; it can be extended for as long as 24 months after the child’s birth, but is most often considered to be up to 28 days following the child’s birth,” Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis said.

The death cult is coming for our elderly, weak and disabled using euthanasia legislation and coming for our babies using abortion legislation.

Twins: The Abortion Up To The Point of Birth Conundrum

The assumption is, somehow, that a fully formed human ‘foetus’ inside the womb is somehow materially and ethically different from a fully formed baby outside of the womb. As soon as the baby is born, it suddenly becomes a person and to kill that person is murder. But a few minutes before being born, it’s fair game to be killed, and that will not be a crime. If that sounds absurd, consider the case of twins born minutes, days or weeks apart.

Archbishop Says Catholic Church “Will Not Abandon Pregnant Women and Their Unborn Children” After MPs Vote To Decriminalise Abortion

Archbishop John Sherrington, Lead Bishop for Life Issues for the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales, said the Church is “deeply alarmed” by Tuesday night’s vote to decriminalise abortion.

“This decision significantly reduces the protection of unborn lives and will result in grave harm for pregnant women,” Archbishop Sherrington said.

“Let’s be clear: this isn’t healthcare. It’s a moral crisis”, SPUC Executive Director Michael Robinson said.

“Our already liberal abortion law allows an estimated 300,000 babies a year to be killed. Now, even the very limited protection afforded by the law is being stripped away by MPs who seem to have no compassion for babies in the womb, even those ready to be born alive,” SPUC Public Policy Manager Alithea Williams said.

UK Gold Mining Company Bluebird to Convert Gold Revenues into Bitcoin

Bluebird Mining Ventures Ltd, a pan Asian gold project development company based in London, recently announced a major strategic shift. It plans to convert future revenues from its gold mining projects into Bitcoin and adopt Bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset.

“I am convinced that we are witnessing a tectonic shift in global markets and that Bitcoin will reshape the landscape of financial markets on every level,” Bluebird’s CEO, Aidan Bishop, said.
