Humza Yousaf received the most complaints on the first day of Scotland’s new “hate crime” legislation

Since the controversial “hate crime” legislation came into effect on Monday it is reported that almost 4,000 complaints have been made to Police Scotland.  The police are reportedly dealing with 60 complaints on average per hour.

Police sources have now given some details about the “hate crime” complaints revealing that the majority relate to the First Minister as well as JK Rowling.

“A lot of those complaints were about Humza Yousaf, on the same complaint about his parliamentary rant,” an insider told The Sun. “JK Rowling has had some, but not as many as Humza Yousaf.”

The complaints against JK Rowling, who is based in Edinburgh, refer to a string of tweets she made about several prominent trans women, and convicted sex offenders, earlier this week.

She dared police officers to arrest after she wrote definitely that the trans women listed were not “women at all, but men, every last one of them.”

Police have confirmed that no action will be taken against the Harry Potter author.  JK Rowling has promised to stand by any woman who is harassed by police for calling a man a man.

The complaints about Yousaf related to a speech he gave in the Scottish Parliament in 2020.

“Earlier complaints regarding this matter were assessed at the time and it was established no crime was committed and no further action was required,” a Police Scotland spokesperson said.

The Telegraph reported that Conservative Member of the Scottish Parliament Murdo Fraser asked Police Scotland if they have logged a non-crime hate incident (“NCHI”) against Yousaf, just as they did against him when a trans activist reported his tweet.

Police Scotland have said they will not have an NCHI recorded against Yousaf.  Mr. Fraser accused the police of double standards and political bias.

The day before Scotland’s “hate crime” act came into effect, the Free Speech Union (“FSU”) announced that its lawyers were on standby should any of their members be hauled in for questioning.  Yesterday, FSU’s founder Toby Young wrote to Yousaf offering to help him get the NCHI logged against him deleted if he joins the Free Speech Union.

As the storm over the laws continues to intensify, Yousaf’s Minister for Victims and Community Safety Siobhian Brown, warned of “hysteria” gripping Scots, adding that there was “misinformation” about the new act that was leading people to make a series of “fake and vexatious complaints.”

According to the Daily Mail, Brown revealed to BBC Radio Scotland that a member of the public had made a fake complaint in her name.  “I was surprised myself on Monday to receive a call from Police Scotland about my complaint – this was a fake complaint someone had done anonymously in my name and gave my office number,” she said.

On Tuesday night Calum Steele, the former general secretary of the Scottish Police Federation, said that around 3,800 cases were logged within the first 24 hours of the act coming into force.

The huge number of complaints made in a short space of time comes as Police Scotland warned its overworked officers could become overwhelmed.

Scottish Conservative and shadow cabinet secretary for justice Russell Findlay warned the law had already been weaponised by “thin-skinned troublemakers” and placed an unprecedented burden on police officers.

“Police Scotland has been inundated with complaints, many of them spurious nonsense from activists. At this rate, the number of hate complaints will overtake the number of real crimes.  Officers want to protect our communities, not waste precious time investigating every single perceived hate crime,” he said.

The Scottish Conservatives have claimed that if the rate continues for the next 12 months, a total of 1.387 million crimes will be reported during the 2024/2025 financial year.

Humza Yousaf’s Orwellian Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) Act introduced three days ago has already caused chaos, which was entirely predictable.  Perhaps he should be charged for wasting police time.

While previously it was a hobby culminating in writing articles for Wikipedia (until things made a drastic and undeniable turn in 2020) and a few books for private consumption, since March 2020 I have become a full-time researcher and writer in reaction to the global takeover that came into full view with the introduction of covid-19. For most of my life, I have tried to raise awareness that a small group of people planned to take over the world for their own benefit. There was no way I was going to sit back quietly and simply let them do it once they made their final move.

Having done something before the law was active can never fall under a new law.

Except for the obvious nonsense, the Scottish government makes itself totally ridiculous with this law.

They didn’t arrest her because she is a celebrity. But the little folk will be berated, arrested, jailed and God know what else. And I am not speaking about pixies.

If Scotland’s police are bombarded with complaints against members of the Scottish parliament, they will, in a short time have to repeal the law as being unworkable and unenforceable. Keep the complaints coming against those in authority, and we’ll get rid of this nonsense.

Yes, organize in groups and each group take an hour out of the everyday to repeatedly call and complain. Overwhelm them till the cry Uncle.

God help Scotland, the land of William Wallace and Robert the Bruce. Filthy desert rats running the government. I can’t believe that the elections are not tainted. This cave dweller needs to be run out on a ramrod along with the MPs who put him in power.
Girly men in Scotland better find a good hiding place because if they were hated and reviled before, they will be triply so now.

All their own fault anyway because any man who thinks he is a woman and acts/dresses accordingly is already a laughingstock. As a woman, I am insulted and incensed that these idiots are mimicking woman and expecting the rest of us to go along with the charade. If I see one of these bastards in a woman’s bathroom, I will call him out and maybe knock him out.

His house, his office and everywhere he goes there should be people berating and scorning him. He should hear it night and day. Let him know what real hate is all about. He richly deserves it. Along with any others identified in this nonsense.
