Sir Keir Starmer’s first King’s Speech as Prime Minister outlined Labour’s legislative agenda for the new Parliament. He signalled the return of big government, with sweeping promises to nationalise the railways, energy and water, greater police powers, widen digital verification and more surveillance.

He also resurrected the Conservative’s plan to ban junk food advertising to children and Rishi Sunak’s phased smoking ban, proposing to gradually end the sale of tobacco products, meaning anyone born after 1 January 2009 will be unable to legally buy cigarettes in the UK in their lifetime. His plans also include imposing limits on the sale and marketing of vapes.

In the King’s Speech, a total of 40 bills were proposed, the most since Tony Blair’s government in 2005, with many pieces of legislation featuring the Government playing a more interventionist role.

Tom Tugendhat MP, the shadow security minister, said the King’s Speech showed that Labour was set on “giving more power” to unions and regulators that “control your lives.”

Robert Jenrick MP claimed Labour was pursuing radical net zero policies for “ideological reasons.”

It gets worse.

As Big Brother Watch pointed out, three important details included in the King’s Speech read out by King Charles have been overlooked by the media:

  • The government will seek to establish the appropriate legislation to place requirements on those working to develop the most powerful artificial intelligence models.
  • The government will legislate to ban exploitative practices and enhance employment rights (Employment Rights Bill).
  • Legislation will be brought forward to strengthen community policing, give the police greater powers to deal with anti-social behaviour and strengthen support for victims (Crime and Policing Bill, Victims, Courts and Public Protection Bill).

Another nefarious bill that is being introduced by the Starmer government, which was not specifically mentioned by King Charles in his speech on Wednesday, is the Digital Information and Smart Data Bill.  It is however mentioned in the 104-page background briefing notes published on 16 July, where all 40 proposed bills are briefly described.

For an overview, you can read Global Government Fintech’s article about the smart data bill HERE.  Not only does the name ‘Global Government Fintech’ ring alarm bells but the elation clearly shown in the publication’s article title, ‘‘Smart data’ legislation back in business as new UK government gets cracking’, rings the alarm bells even louder.  The reason for their exuberance can be summed up in one sentence: “It will be keenly followed by those within and outside the public sector with an interest in capitalising on the possibilities of financial technology,” the article stated.

In the short video below, Big Brother Watch, a civil liberties and privacy non-profit organisation, warns what these bills will mean for our everyday lives.

The Digital Information and Smart Data Bill seeks to further commercialise our personal data and widen the use of digital ID verification, Big Brother Watch director Silkie Carlo explains.  “Warning: ‘Smart’ normally means surveillance.”

While previously it was a hobby culminating in writing articles for Wikipedia (until things made a drastic and undeniable turn in 2020) and a few books for private consumption, since March 2020 I have become a full-time researcher and writer in reaction to the global takeover that came into full view with the introduction of covid-19. For most of my life, I have tried to raise awareness that a small group of people planned to take over the world for their own benefit. There was no way I was going to sit back quietly and simply let them do it once they made their final move.

Resistance is virtue. Computers/Internet have been being used against the people’s rights to privacy and liberty. It’s time to think about living without the Trojan Horses in my house.

Yep … like in the US government uses private business to carry out the work but then has full access to it.

The government sells people the lie their data is private it is not.

Every person should receive a royalty for their data and compensated for any leak or use of this data.

If ever you want a reason not to have a
digital ID or a CBDC, just see what havoc was caused in the last few days. Going for central digital information and digital currency is a recipe for disaster. We should resist strongly. Also, would you trust a system created for the government? Historically, these networks have been unreliable and usually go over budget.

Hope it wakes a lot more people up.
Also it means goodbye all freedom, but do most people worry about that until it actually happens

Back between 1880 and 1940, things were really tough in North Africa. Various tribal powers and principalities were vying for control. There was a lot of religious persecution and “barbarism” — as in Barbary Pirates, and it fell to the French Colonialist Governments to try to deal with the problems. Their answer was the French Foreign Legion. This elite corps within the French Armed Forces is formed of foreign volunteers, who later receive French citizenship as a reward. As these people are not French, they are technically mercenary forces. And around 1900-1914, new recruits were few and far between, a circumstance that led to many young men being abducted and forcibly pressganged into that service. So now, with that background, imagine that you are a young adventurer on a steamer in 1908 and you are bound from Marseilles, France to Cairo, Egypt. Your ship is caught in a storm and crippled on the Mediterranean and in the morning, pirates swarm the decks, take you captive, and here you are in North Africa, assumed to be a volunteer in the French Foreign Legion…. Never mind that some money changed hands between the Legion and the Pirates and that in modern terms, you have been “human trafficked”. In this example, you’ve been kidnapped off the High Seas, and from there deposited on a foreign land mass, and conscripted into a mercenary force under duress. In our present very similar situation, you have been human trafficked, too, only this has occurred on paper. It has the same result. You have been kidnapped off the land of your birth and taken (on paper) off the land and onto the High Seas of Admiralty Jurisdiction.

Numerous countries have now joined the outcry against the mRNA genocide, with the Philippines being the latest important voice raised:
The question is no longer one of whether or not the mRNA injections were harmful, indeed, devastating, but who is responsible and how to punish them? Short answer: Out of control commercial corporations were and are responsible. These corporations which are supposed to be contractors providing “essential government services” to us have instead undermined and usurped against their Employers and pretended to be the government instead of government services providers. Those who own and operate these corporations are directly and personally and 100% commercially liable for the harm these corporations and their personnel have done. Their misadministration has led to a worldwide situation equivalent to the British Raj in India — the American Raj in America, the English Raj in England, the French Raj in France, and so on.

I worked in the Bank of England when Labour nationalised the Railways in 1951 and it was a disaster and ruined the joy of the train from London to Edinburgh. We all worked overtime to change things! Labour is an anathema to good governance!

Criminal control freaks in power, judging others by their own low standards, making unethical decisions, and unthinking idiots putting these rulings into being. That is modern democracy. So wrong, so sad, but we do not have to obey rulings we feel are wrong… It is not for nothing that the ‘law’ has often been called an Ass.
