Roger Waters Called Bono “Disgusting” and a “Shit” but Was He Justified?

The NME published an article with the title: ‘Roger Waters calls U2’s Bono “disgusting” and “a shit.” The NME’s journalist, Liberty Dunworth wrote “Roger Waters has lashed out at U2 frontman Bono,” and quoted Waters as saying “Anybody who knows Bono should go and pick him up by his ankles and shake him… until he stops being an enormous shit.” Was Roger Waters justified in his criticisms of Bono, the globalist “rock star?”

The comments against Paul David Hewson, known as Bono, the Irish rock singer/songwriter arose in a new interview with Waters and saw the Pink Floyd musician criticise Bono for his previous comments on the Israel-Hamas war. NME reported on the event that sparked the comments and said “Speaking during one of their Sphere residency shows in Las Vegas, Bono used the performance to pay his respects to those killed during the October 7 attack at the Israeli music festival Supernova.”

In the light of what’s happened in Israel and Gaza, a song about non-violence seems somewhat ridiculous, even laughable, but our prayers have always been for peace and for non-violence,” he told the crowd before launching into a performance of ‘Pride (In The Name Of Love)’. “But our hearts and our anger, you know where that’s pointed. So sing with us… and those beautiful kids at that music festival.

He then played the song with altered lyrics, singing “Early morning, Oct. 7, the sun is rising in the desert sky… Stars of David, they took your life but they could not take your pride,” in place of the original lines.

The Roger Waters Interview

In a new interview with Al Jazeera (via Clash) , Roger Waters, the co founder and bassist of Pink Floyd, branded the comments made at the live show “disgusting”.

Over recent months, the former Pink Floyd member has been in the news for his comments on the conflict in Palestine and accusations of anti-Semitism and rightly repeatedly denied all accusations of anti-Semitism and explained that his disdain is towards Israel, not Judaism. He also accused Israel of “abusing the term anti-Semitism to intimidate people like me into silence”.

My mother told me, when faced with difficult problems, the first thing to do is to read—read, read, read. Then, the next part is easy: do the right thing,” he told the outlet, referring to his own family background that saw his father killed in the Second World War.

“Anybody who knows Bono should go and pick him up by his ankles and shake him… until he stops being an enormous shit.”

“We have to start saying to these people, your opinion is so disgusting and so degrading… sticking up for the Zionist entity,” he added. “What he did a couple of weeks ago in the Sphere in Las Vegas, singing about the Stars of David, was one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever seen in my life.”

Bono and The Edge Pocket Millions from a Deal With Israeli Bank.

This was just nine days before an article written by David Cronin was published in the Rights and Accountability section of the online publication The Electronic Intifada on October 2023, where he wrote “A group that constantly preaches about peace and nonviolence – is now tangled up with a bank profiting from Israel’s violations of international law.”

Cronin continued in the article titled “Bono and The Edge Pocket Millions from a Deal with Israeli bank” and said “A bank enabling Israel’s war crimes has issued a major loan for the purchase of a Dublin hotel owned by Bono and The Edge from the rock band U2 and said that the loan worth more than $45 million was announced at a time when the death toll resulting from Israel’s latest bombardment of Gaza was rising rapidly.

Bono- “Did he ask too much?” it was “More than a lot”

A front-page story in The Irish Times on the 19th of October 2023 merely reported that “UK lender Leumi” is providing “assistance” to the deal with no explanation that LeumiUK is a subsidiary of Israel’s Bank Leumi which has been listed in a UN database of firms profiting from Israel’s colonisation of Palestinian land.

Bank Leumi, according to Cronin, has financed a large number of projects in settlements that Israel is building in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem. “Under the Fourth Geneva Convention, the construction and expansion of those settlements amount to war crimes.”

The hotel, known as The Clarence, has been owned by Bono and The Edge since 1992. Paddy McKillen Jnr. and Matt Ryan – hotshots already held the lease on the hotel in Dublin’s restaurant and entertainment scene, now thanks to the Leumi loan, they have bought it fully acquiring the stake held by Bono and The Edge.

“The deal means that two of the world’s most famous rock stars are getting richer from a transaction with a bank that abets Israel’s war crimes.

Elevation Partners

U2 who have been together for over five decades has accumulated a vast amount of wealth between them due to their success, Bono is the richest member of the band, with a net worth of around $700 million in the bank. This is not just from music, as British media reported that a sizeable chunk of Bono’s fortune may have come from his investment firm Elevation Partners.’ Source.

Bono is a Former Managing Director of Elevation Partners which was a trail-blazing $1.9 billion private equity investment fund focused on the intersection between technology and media.” Elevation Partners had a 2.3 percent share in Facebook, bought back in 2009, and by 2015, the firm’s stake was already worth just under US$1 billion.

Bono (an Elevation Co-Founder and Managing Director) joined TPG Growth as a Special Partner and in 2016 he co-founded the Rise Fund, with ex-eBay president and climate activist, billionaire Jeff Skoll. Source

The Rise Fund.

The Rise Fund headquartered in San Francisco, is “a global social impact fund that invests in seven sectors aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Below are the Sustainable Development Goals created in 2015 with the aim of “peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.” “We commit ourselves to working tirelessly for the full implementation of this Agenda by 2030” said the UN SDGs. Bono, the WEF, and the UN globalists et al have similar aims.

The Rise Fund is Featured on the WEF Website.

“One Love.”

Having these same aims, such as promoting Agenda 2030, Sustainable Development Goals, Bono has surrounded himself with like-minded individuals for quite some time now. Below is a little gallery of just a few pictures available on the internet of Bono and his globalist cult pals from over the years.

Have You Come Here to Play Jesus, With the Lepers in Your Head”

“We’re One, But We’re Not the Same”

Bono has not said one word about, the Covid hoax, the deadly jabs, the excess deaths, the children with jab-related heart issues, the displaced and the maimed in Gaza, or the 30,000 murdered Palestinian civilians.

He has ignored Gonzalo Lira a Chilean-American war commentator known for his critical views on the Zelensky regime and Russia-Ukraine conflict, who died on January the 11th 2024 after an eight-month imprisonment on charges of “justifying Russia’s military actions in jail in Ukraine.

Bono the “peace on earth” activist, has shown he is just not interested, his activism is subjective and his opinions only align with those of the globalist cult and he plays the role of a mouthpiece to steer the views of the pop culture consumer.

Another example of this was seen at a U2 show on Saturday, where once again U2 and Bono specifically used their residency shows in Las Vegas to make a political statement. This time it was to pay tribute to the Russian opposition leader, Alexei Navalny, who was imprisoned in a Russian penal colony and suddenly died on Friday (February 16).

Bono even asked that his audience chant the name of Alexei Navalny., see the video below and in the video below that, Bono can be seen shouting “Shut up!” to the cheering audience when he mentioned the Palestinians.

Who is this Bongo?

Bono once wrote a letter to American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and visual artist known as Captain Beefheart asking if he would be interested in writing/recording together.

The handwritten reply said simply: “Dear Bongo, No.”

It has been said that Captain Beefheart often asked “Who is this Bongo?”

This is something many of us may have also been asking when he seemed to trade his rock and roll friends in for a bunch of cabalistic dictators with plans for our future and “peace activist” Bono. He is just a guy, but a guy with a god complex and a vast amount of wealth that has enabled him to play out his delusions with those of a similar ilk, and yes, Roger Waters is more than justified in his attitude towards him.

Bono is not simply “a friend” of the “Globalist Elite” Bono, IS one of the Globalist “elite” and has plans for our future alongside those of the other cult members and is attempting to sway the opinion of the masses with his own rock and roll brand of propaganda. So, Dear Bongo, just NO!

I would call Bono worse than that. He is a WEFer and globalist sellout of the lowest kind. He sold out African states that were corporatised and their human resources enslaved, and natural resources stolen.

Roger Waters is a very restrained person. If I ever met Bono his teeth would be breaking windows in a 100 M radius.

Both should keep their political views at the kitchen table.

Nobody is interested in their political views.

They just should make music since that’s what they’re good at.

Erm, people have many talents and views, don’t think that’s a good call Petra.

Personally very interested in their political views, they’re interesting to me and know i’m far from alone thinking like that.

Does Bono align himself with the population cull using toxic injections and does he have a pass into after the great reset?

Think that is a fair question for everybody to ask.

Agree, possible he doesn’t have a soul worth bargaining with now, so hopes he can cover his bum?

100% fair game. Waters was being tactful. Personally I might have gone with something like “spineless bum-kissing fascist money sucking douchebag.”

The most despicable are the ones like Bono who see an opportunity to fawn over the perpetrators of the most heinous crime against an imprisoned people namely genocide and to enrich himself in the process.

Shame, i like U2 tunes and have some CD’s.
Do I bin them as I have with Dolly Parton’s, another bioweapon pusher?

Also now listen to Elton CD’s as God giving him song, but I despise what he has become pushing bioweapon jabs, so think of him as TWO PEOPLE
My favourite band is Pink Floyd, and Roger always sang about the evil system, so why can he not unite right and left into a anti-globalist movement, as he appears to be stuck on the woke left?

JustStopOil should be out imaging chemtrails.

Hi Chris C .
You just reminded me.
Very heavy Chemtrailing 19, 20 Feb, over Yorkshire UK.
They must be getting ready for the predicted snow.
Really nice few days of sunshine, then all blanked out by cloud.

Sorry your sunny days were stolen: same in Cheshire. Also nucleation (flash freezing) from nano makes cold spots in the air -20C when it is -5C, so we’ve all had a less healthy winter on top of inflation etc.

Still like U2 music myself Chris C, think it’s possible to listen to sound to a degree, while rejecting the message? So hope that isn’t just wishful thinking.

Love the sound of U2 but have a vast music collection, were you into bands like The Beat too? Maybe Tool and Roots Manuva might appeal to you as well?

Never heard of those bands.
Yes you can listen to the sounds and ignore the message, but in many songs the music downs out the words anyway.

If we were not dealing with Crimes against Humanity, we would not be having this discussion, but do what you do and remember that the music is ultimately from God whatever that is.

Hugs Patricia, haven’t read the article yet but just the title made me burst out laughing.

Of course he was justified, Bono’s voice almost makes me melt but not enough to to give him a pass on being a stooge. Still listen to Floyd a lot, personally don’t like Gilmour, who seems to be an amazing guitarist but think Roger might be a pretty good guy.

Good to see you Mrs. D!

I stopped listening to all of these guys years ago-but that’s me, though lately it has become a hobby of mine analysing the lyrics.

Who would deny that Elton John is a brilliant musician, but do you support what he does? I binned them all years ago….

Great to see you friend and yep, my original icon is one i really like but sadly, the email address i have to use is pretty iffy to me now. Have lots of addresses, so will experiment in the near future and hopefully, find another icon i like.

Glory, my music collection is a work in progress. Much of the stuff i love and find it tough to let go of, would make people like you want to shove my head down the lav and flush it, to knock some sense into me. My main interests are heavy rock and heavy dance music, think you’ll get the picture. My music collection is vast too, deleted a fair bit but loads to go and finding it tough. It must be sorted, like you said, lots of people i can’t support now and don’t think our loving Creator will be impressed with me still listening to them.

The good news is i can’t listen to it often, have to use headphones as my little cat gets really upset if i play it through the amp and speakers. She has a 50 hour playlist of special music for cats, which she’s very happy to listen to.

Mrs. D, you might like to look up Acts 19.18-20; granted, these were particularly bad books, the Aleister Crowley type, I would think?

A lot of pop and rock stars, such as Robert Plant & Jimmy Page (Led Zep) practically worshipped this evil man-what an influence!?

In the late 70s we would get on our motor bikes down the M4 to the festivals at Reading and Knebworth…

Back in the 80s-90s I lost my licence three times for speeding-twice for over 100mph (and not on the motorway!). I’d be driving my Porsche flat out with “Bat out of hell” and the like on full volume!!!

Now I’ve got a Hyundai!

Yep, lukewarm just won’t cut it friend, the devil really does have the most attractive music. The music, not lyrics are what floats my boat but of course we’re affected by the lyrics too. Loads of my music must be trashed and i need to go through a lot of drives.

Thought you had probably been a naughty boy, ditto us, well, i was a naughty but nice girl. Ditto regarding music festivals etc, we had a Triumph Thunderbird and Suzuki trial bike. Reminded me of another driver flashing us for a burnup on the M1, turned out the swine was motorway police and nicked us for speeding. He offered to let us off if we sold him the Triumph! We paid the fine.

Really must sort out stuff like my music friend, sure time is really short now and so want this evil system to end, whether or not we make it through.

That’s the scripture i was thinking of friend, made a note of it’s location.

Absolutely understand Him saying that, especially with the unequivocal evidence people in this time have. EVERYTHING associated with this evil system must be destroyed.

Think we probably have a good idea of what might remain and can imagine some of what infinite development might entail.

Glad you think Roger might be a pretty good guy too Patricia, i don’t judge people on their past, it’s what they’re doing now that matters to me.

Know i have to ditch a lot of my music collection, will still have loads of music i love but what needs trashing, hurts while doing so.

I’m going with my theory that Bono was killed and replaced when he visited the George Bush Whitehouse in ’89 I think. They’ve probably still got him in a cage in a tunnel under the White House. Bono was different after the visit. Perhaps they got him on adrenochrome and that’s how they got a hold of him. Donald Trump was possibly killed and replaced in ’89 as well. We shouldn’t be shocked by the idea of it. That’s what name stealers do right? Kill and replace people. P I D and so was John.
