On a Tom Nelson Podcast, Professor David Dilley discussed his perspective on global warming and the importance of understanding Earth’s natural climate cycles.
He emphasised that the current global warming cycle is the first time instrument data has been available and that there have been multiple global warming and cooling cycles throughout Earth’s history.
“Global warming will be dead by 2030,” he said.
Prof. Dilley is a meteorologist, climatologist, palaeoclimatologist and a former NOAA National Weather Service Meteorologist. He is the founder and CEO of Global Weather Oscillations (“GWO”), a company heavily involved in researching and developing technology for predicting natural climate and weather cycles.
He has 54 years of experience ranging from the Air Force to NOAA National Weather Service and GWO. As the senior research scientist and forecaster for GWO, Prof. Dilley developed ClimatePulse Technology based on geomagnetic cycles of the earth, moon and sun, and how these cycles align with historical, present-day and future climate and weather cycles.

Make Hay While the Sun Shines

Earth is currently nice and warm. This warmth is conducive to abundant life due, amongst many other things, to optimal levels of carbon dioxide that sustains plant life. Take a look around you – does it look like this lush, green planet is dying?
Intuitively (and empirically), when it gets colder, life on Earth will not be so good. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about it except prepare future generations (two or three of them) with the best of the evidence we can muster, rather than ignorant, political dogma about incessant, irrational global warming.
Spoiler alert!
Here follows a succinct scientific analysis of what does and what does not cause climate change:
- The sun does.
- The moon does.
- The oceans do.
- The poles do.
- Man-made carbon dioxide does not.
Who says so?
Professor David Dilley is a very experienced meteorologist who is sharing this information for free, not because he is paid to, nor because his livelihood is indirectly affected by it.
What dominates climate change?
The sun. Obviously. Higher temperatures during the day compared to the night and the summer compared to the winter is a bit of a clue.
More specifically, it is Earth’s proximal relationship with the sun as determined by its elliptical orbit and variable tilt.
These two factors produce regular cycles of changes in global temperatures and have been observed over several hundred thousand years, showing that current temperatures are pretty much exactly where they are expected to be.
However, according to these cycles, it is probable that we are nearing the peak of the nice warm weather, the sixth and smallest warm cycle of the last eight thousand years. Over the next few decades, things are going to get unpleasantly cooler.
What causes shorter-term climate changes?
The moon. Again, intuitively. We accept the moon’s influence on the tides. Imagine believing a distant force so strong that it can move oceans and not believing it has any other influence on Earth’s activity – floods, earthquakes and volcanic activity, for example?
How did we get a global temperature anyway?
Well, again, obviously, to get one temperature for the whole planet, you must aggregate all the surface temperatures. The problem is that over 70% of the Earth is covered in water and the seas and oceans change temperature at different rates to the land and different parts of the planet also change temperature at different rates, so even as the global mean temperature is rising, some places are recording the coldest temperatures on record.
How do ocean water temperatures affect global temperature?
Naturally occurring changes in ocean water temperature also occur at regular intervals (every two to seven years), known as El Niño when the water is anomalously warm (as it has been recently) and La Niña when it is unusually cold, which is to come…
How do the poles affect global temperature?
Global warming and cooling cycles both start in the poles. Ice volume dictates temperature, more than it results from it.
But everyone knows carbon dioxide is at an “all-time” high
Everyone with an ounce of common sense knows that this little gas:
- cannot change the Earth’s orbit around the sun;
- cannot change the moon’s orbit around the Earth;
- cannot heat the oceans;
- cannot affect volcanic activity; and
- cannot influence the build-up of ice at the poles.
And, everyone with a little bit of knowledge also knows:
- carbon dioxide only represents 0.04% of the atmosphere;
- man only produces 1% of the carbon dioxide and has contributed no more than 20% of the increase in recent times;
- most of the increase in carbon dioxide is released from warming oceans, which occurs hundreds and thousands of years after temperatures rise, not before; and
- more carbon dioxide is very much better for the planet than too little.
Who knows, maybe carbon sequestration might be a good thing after all? As long as our children’s children can get it back out again when they are cold and hungry over the next couple of centuries?!

Whilst I concur that things will get unpleasant in Europe and the UK in coming years, given the insane policies the outcome is no surprise.

The best explain is oceans currents phases (cycle 60 – 65 years) which are now turning to cold. Arctic oscillation (AO) and North atlantic oscillation (NAO) are already in cold phase.
Change to warm happened about 1978 and very soon after that manmade global warming propaganda started. (Before that we were going to imminent ice-age.)
I am not sure… They do the chemtrailing locally. I am just back from an island, when I have time I sort out the photos, but the point is that chemtrails and franken-sky was covering only the island, thickening in the middle of the island why there was no ctrail above the ocean surrounding the island. There the sky was blue and totally clear.

Here in the SF Bay Area we have been cloudy and overcast for at least 3 months (maybe more?) due to a SRM (Solar Resource Management) “experiment” being carried out on the deck of a WW2 aircraft carrier…it’s been cold and dismal for as long as I can remember…imagine, the PTB calling the sun a “resource”…that means they can “manage” and control it in their feeble minds

It made me think of my visit to the stargaze centre last summer. On the wall was a poster regarding CO2 and the future.
It stated, and I kid you not, “Due to the lack of CO2 in the atmosphere there will be no more trees in the future (I must say they were talking about 500 years or so in the future), but only grasses.

If CO2 were in higher levels, then the oxygen and nitrogen levels would decrease and therefore, the whole carbon based life on this planet would literally gasping for air. CO2 is a cooler gas and ascends far slower than the warmer/hotter gasses do and not sure why the so self-labelled tech/eco/scientific websites that yap a lot of carbon dioxide throughout the day, but forgotten plants do not keep producing oxygen throughout the night, but carbon dioxide. To conclude 95% of carbon dioxide comes from nature. Carbon monoxide is all man made. But … what about asking governments and above all, all the hundreds of organizations, associations, groups, departments et cetera, like the green parties, pro environment that do exist anywhere everywhere around the planet.. why not first taking care of the real killer emissions, those that are called killers of human, flora and fauna’s health, like particles (led dust above all), nanotech, nitrates, sulphates, NOx, and so forth? What about looking after them first? Maybe with proper laws and standards for each mining operation for example. Also so obsessed with CO2 (no wonder … they have made out of it billions worth of industry)? Considering the massive amount of CO2 emitted throughout the process of purification of methane gas, cause entrapment tech is not mandated to be installed/used, to not even mention the amount of killer emissions which include a monstrous amount of carbon dioxide too, each time a rocket is launched in space. Start distributing gas locally as it were in the past before some individual found out a way to purify methane gas quicker and cheaper.
People pay taxes to see their idiots politicians to put together projects of this kind too … but tax payers money now is only … everybody else’s but the people’s.
And for who does not still know, we inhale oxygen, we exhale (most of the) oxygen, we inhale nitrogen, we exhale carbon dioxide. Therefore can somebody tell ’em CO2′ terrorists to keep their mouths shut? Too much of bs and … pretty sure they want the cows to stop pooping from their butts …. for who gets the innuendo … 🙂

The CO2 babble is all about trying to find an explanation for something that is a mystery to most people. Al Gore started the CO2 gibberish, remember? And everybody fell for it. What nobody looks at is how the “roof of our house” – the ionosphere – is under constant EMF attack by concerted efforts globally, by means of the HAARP tool. The purpose is to cause dents and holes in the roof, so spacecraft can move (for installations of satellites and space tourism, such important stuff) without incinerating. Not over the 75% of Eartlhy water masses. The sun comes through so shrill, that the landmasses must be protected from dessication. That’s why your friend Bill Gates wants to make a permanent sunblock of some sort, and his buddies are working on it. Chemtrailing to mitigate damage caused to the natural sunblock of the ionosphere each time is very costly. You pay for it. But the – global – space industry depends on this damage, so you have to live with global warming, whether you like it or not. And you can always blame CO2. Wonderful, right? CO2 as business model to hide the real reason behind “global warming.” ROFLMAO that everybody falls for it. 😉
