There are numerous reports of animals exhibiting unusual behaviour before disasters strike suggesting that animals may be able to predict natural disasters.
There have been reports of restless birds before a volcanic eruption; snakes awakening from hibernation before an earthquake; common toads disappearing and fleeing their colony before a major earthquake; elephants running for higher ground hours before a tsunami; dogs refusing to go outdoors before an earthquake; flamingos abandoning their breeding areas before a tsunami and zoo animals rushing into their shelters before a disaster.
These reports are not new. For millennia, people across the globe have reported unusual animal behaviour preceding natural disasters. Some accounts date back to the Greek historian Thucydides in 373 BC.
In the following, Dr. Vernon Coleman recounts some more recent reports.

There has, for centuries, been a belief that animals can predict natural disasters. For example, there is good evidence that many animals know when earthquakes and tsunamis are imminent.
1) Just before the tsunami crashed into southern India in 2005, animals ran from the coast to the safety of a nearby hilltop. A herd of antelope stampeded from the shoreline ten minutes before the waves hit. In Sri Lanka, where thousands of people were killed, all the wild animals (elephants, leopards, deer, etc.) managed to survive at the Yala National Park on the coast. The animals all escaped before the waves hit. Throughout the area there was only one report of a dead animal as a result of the tsunami.
2) In California, it has been reported that horses will not let people ride them when earthquakes are due.
3) In China, in 1975, snakes emerged from hibernation to escape being buried when an earthquake hit the city of Haicheng.
4) The Chinese Government has published an official booklet describing animal signs that precede, and therefore predict, earthquakes. Tell-tale signs include cattle and horses refusing to enter their corrals, rats leaving their hiding places and running around wildly and fish jumping out of the water.
5) Before major earthquakes and floods, small mammals leave their burrows and cattle migrate to high ground.
6) Desert tortoises in the Nevada desert in the USA dig shallow holes in rocky soil to catch rain when they sense that there is a storm coming.
7) Sheep will run for shelter when they sense bad weather coming. The sky may be blue – with no signs of an impending storm – when they start running.
8) Cats can predict earthquakes. When an earthquake is coming a cat will do everything it can to get out of any building, and if they have kittens they will take the kittens with them. In the hours before an earthquake hits, cats get extremely agitated. They have often been seen scratching at doors to be let out, or simply hurrying outside. The Chinese always used to rely on cats to predict earthquakes and other natural disasters.
No one yet knows how animals do this. Do they hear or feel the rumblings of an earthquake? Do they feel the changes in the earth’s electromagnetic field? Or do they sense a change in atmospheric pressure? Whatever the explanation, it seems reasonable to conclude that if you see animals running from somewhere you should leave too. If your cat suddenly picks up its kittens and heads for the door maybe you should follow.
The above is taken from `The Wisdom of Animals’ by Vernon Coleman and Donna Antoinette Coleman.

There is so much we could learn from animals.
Dr. Coleman’s observations may well be correct.
But! There is a higher Power behind all this, the unseen hand of God!
Hebrews 1:3 tells us that God in Christ is Upholding ALL things by the Word of His power. Mark, not some things, but ALL things.
Colossians 1:17 likewise, says In Him ALL things consist.
The incarnate Deity in Matthew 10:29-30 said Himself, Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Such is the unfathomable power of the thrice Holy omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient One.
Dr. Coleman is correct.
Take a cat and see real intelligence higher power.
There´s no need for religious blaablaablaa when you can see and touch real living thing.
The Bible calls you a fool “lslander”.🤡 And who do you think created animals !???🙄
You’re a bit too quick on the keyboard my friend!
Sorry Mr O ..
No worries.
I have seen those preachers, and their “wisdom”, which they don´t have. They can copy old texts, and that´s it. They don´t understand what higher power really means.
Amen! 🙌 PRAISE HIM!
The above translates as (using an online translator):
“I once read an article by a nursing home doctor who said that there was a cat walking around and then they discovered that it sought out those rooms where people were dying, so they were able to warn family members in time and they were not too late. . We still have a lot to learn from nature, show respect and don’t underestimate Mother Nature.”
No such thing as ” mother nature” ✝️🕎GOD , ELOHIM controls everything!.🙄
Sorry, onderschat Moeder Natuur niet.
Bedoelde: onderschat.
Technology has destroyed human survival instinct. People are used to calling someone when they have a problem. They don’t know how to deal with anything themselves. Moreover, they have lost any sense of skepticism or critical thought. They just listen to “authority” and follow the herd with no concept of danger. How else would you explain educated people lining up for the clotshot? Why did these people not research like we did? Why did they not question authority when authority wasn’t making sense? Why did alarm bells not go off? Psychologist will be studying this for decades.
HINT: when something doesn’t add up it’s BS.
💯👍👍well said!.
Great comment !
I think it´s must be much easier to drift with herd, where ever it goes.
And if somebody can see and think, they are stupid tinfoilhats or conspiracy theorists.
I tried to warn, but they didn´t listen, because they knew the truth.
And now they say I didn´t warn them enough. Hmmmm…
