Dr. Vernon Coleman repeatedly, throughout 2020, requested that Professor Chris Whitty, Chief Medical Officer for England, the UK government’s “expert” Chief Medical Adviser and head of the public health profession, to publicly debate him about the falsified covid pandemic and the Government’s response to it.

From March 2020, Whitty played a key role in the response to the covid-19 pandemic in the UK.  In 2022, Whitty was appointed Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath (“KCB”) for services to public health, which entitles him to use the honorific “Sir.”

Dr. Coleman’s calls to Whitty went unheeded. Now, Whitty admits he might have been wrong about covid.  Giving evidence at the UK Covid Inquiry last week, Whitty has conceded that the initial pandemic response was overdone and that ordering 2.3 million people to self-isolate for 12 weeks may have caused more harm than good.

“How nice of you,” Dr. Coleman writes in an open letter to Whitty. “What a pity it took over four years for you to reach that conclusion.”

Open Letter to Prof Sir Chris Whitty, Chief Medical Officer, England

Dear Sir Chris,

So, you’ve admitted that you might have been wrong about covid. How nice of you. But what a pity it took over four years for you to reach that conclusion.

You might not have been so wrong for so long, and might not now have to share the responsibility for so many deaths (which I’m afraid you do), if you’d had the courage to debate the whole issue, instead of supporting a conspiracy to suppress, censor and abuse those who spotted the truth way back at the beginning of 2020, and who were struggling to share the truth with members of the public.

As you will surely know I issued repeated challenges throughout 2020, asking you to debate the fake covid pandemic, the nonsensical mask-wearing debacle, the cruel absurdity of the lockdowns and the wicked pseudoscience of social distancing. In February and March 2020, I warned about the semi-compulsory vaccination programme which I knew you would want to introduce. In April 2020, I sent you a copy of my book ‘Coming Apocalypse’ which explained in some detail why you and governments around the world were completely wrong. I never had an acknowledgement, of course. You will still find the book surprisingly informative and accurate. If you and I had debated these issues in public I could have shone a little light on things and helped educate you and your colleagues. The errors which were made, right from the start, were laughably inept. Your department was guilty of scaremongering.

But you didn’t want to debate, did you? Indeed, you didn’t want doctors who disagreed with you to have any voice at all. It seems to me that you and your colleagues acted without any concern for the truth or for freedom of speech. I wonder who was really behind the decision to forbid all debate about covid. For the record, I have given expert advice to committees in both the House of Commons and the House of Lords. But it seems that this time the decision was made not to invite truly independent, critical advice but to suppress, to ban, to censor and to demonise.

And I wonder if you know how bad the censorship and abuse was, and still is.

In March 2020, I opened a YouTube channel so that I could share my views and explain why covid wasn’t anything more than the standard, annual flu. My first videos had millions of views and I made videos daily for as long as I could. I didn’t monetise the videos and so they cost me much time and a little money with no financial reward. A day or so after my first video, Wikipedia altered my page on their site. They removed lists of my books, TV programmes, newspaper columns and achievements and replaced them with lies, carefully selected to do me harm. Google copied the lies and made them available to a wider audience, pretty well destroying my life. I did think about legal action but I don’t think either of those internet giants take much notice of libel lawsuits and they’ve got rather more money than I have – especially now that my income has been cut by around 90% by their lies.

(Incidentally, you might like to know how Wikipedia works. Within hours of my first video about covid, I was described by a Wikipedia editor as “discredited.” There was no reason for this. No one had described me thus. And then a small local newspaper picked up the word and ran a news story about me, describing me as “discredited.” And immediately Wikipedia used the newspaper story as the reference for their use of the word. Neat, eh? I haven’t looked at Wikipedia or Google for over four years so I have no idea what new lies they’ve introduced.)

Then, doubtless acting under instructions, YouTube closed my channel (although everything I’d said was provably accurate) and they even told me that I couldn’t look at other people’s videos. In what seemed more like spite than anything else, they went through their archives and removed my old television programmes from the 1980s and the 1990s. Any video which quoted me on YouTube was removed – whether it had anything to do with covid or not.

I tried to join Facebook but was told that I would be considered a “danger to their community.” I was attacked by the BBC which, promoted the vaccine and, incidentally, announced that it would not interview anyone questioning the safety and effectiveness of vaccination. (Given the evidence now confirming the toxicity of the covid-19 vaccine this was clearly a terrible error which, I believe, resulted in thousands of unnecessary deaths. Who told the BBC to do this?)

Back in 2020, I warned about the specific health problems which I knew the covid vaccine would produce. I was right. As you know the official statistics show that the death rate from covid (the rebranded flu) was no greater than the usual annual flu. (You will know that officially the flu disappeared.) Predictably, the death rate only went up after doctors started giving the toxic covid vaccine. The lockdowns, the mask-wearing and the closure of many hospital departments all helped to kill people – as I predicted. The damage done to children by absurd and indefensible policies in schools and elsewhere will damage a generation.

I was banned from all social media sites though fake sites in my name were set up and no one would remove them. The abuse on social media was intense and very personal but I was never allowed to reply to any of it. Anyone who dared to interview me got into trouble; some lost their platforms, others simply lost their method of raising money.

Did you know all that was going on?

I have, by the way, been writing about this sort of thing since the early 1970s and my first book ‘The Medicine Men’ was published in 1975.

I made videos for a platform called Brand New Tube but a brave director was told that if he didn’t throw me off and silence me then his platform would be in trouble. He bravely stuck by me, and shortly afterwards the platform was hacked into silence. Before that, a British Army Brigade (the 77th) made life pretty miserable as part of the Government propaganda programme. I assume it was members of the 77th who were busy posting nonsense on my videos and on social media. Oh, and the Royal Society of Arts expelled me for the very modern crime of telling uncomfortable truths. Fact-checkers constantly tried to find fault with what I’d said and written but although they produced a good many libellous and inaccurate reports, they failed to find any inaccuracies in my reports and predictions. Everything I’ve said and written about covid has been accurate (and still available via my website and in the books I’ve managed to publish). And my predictions and warnings have been accurate too. Nevertheless, corporate media editors refuse to print anything I’ve produced or to review any of my books. Quite a few of my books have been banned or suppressed, and corporate media people I’d known for years won’t dare talk to me. Before covid, my books had been published in 26 languages by publishers around the world and serialised in hundreds of newspapers and magazines. I made numerous TV and radio series too and wrote columns for leading newspapers in a number of countries. Today, I think myself lucky when I can publish my own books. It almost seems as though editors and publishers have been told not to have anything to do with me.

In addition to the abuse online, I constantly received physical threats, and deep cuts were deliberately and professionally made to the insides of the two front tyres of our car. The cuts weren’t visible from outside the car and if it hadn’t been for a lucky annual car service there would have been a terrible crash and my wife and I would have doubtless been killed – probably along with others.

My emails have been hacked, suppressed and edited and my website has become laughably difficult to find. I had to close down one website after it was cleverly infiltrated by an officially sponsored “bad actor” who I suspect was being paid by GCHQ though I don’t expect anyone will admit that.

There’s much more. But that’ll do for a start. You can either assume that all of those things happened by accident, by coincidence, or you have to suspect that there has been a serious plot to suppress the truth, or anyone trying to share it.

And it’s all a bit topsy-turvy, isn’t it?

You got a knighthood for being part of a Government which even you admit may have “overstated” the risk of covid and which, more objectively, got everything wrong. And I was destroyed, both professionally and personally, for telling the truth and for trying to share the truth with as many people as possible – and for provably getting everything right. There’s more than a little irony there.

And you might like to think about the fact that if a government silences all its critics when there is any sort of health crisis, and refuse to debate with them, then it will make mistake after mistake. And huge numbers of innocent people will continue to die unnecessarily. But then there are many who think that was the plan.

Incidentally, I have repeatedly asked to give evidence to the Government’s Covid Inquiry – where you gave evidence the other day. I have, of course, been ignored though I have for decades been Britain’s leading medical author (and was previously well-reviewed by the media). And, as I mentioned earlier, both the House of Commons and the House of Lords have, in the past, been happy to listen to my views.

I hope you care about the fact that without debate and discussion with informed and experienced critics, Governments will continue to make mistakes – even if you don’t care about what happened to me.

While previously it was a hobby culminating in writing articles for Wikipedia (until things made a drastic and undeniable turn in 2020) and a few books for private consumption, since March 2020 I have become a full-time researcher and writer in reaction to the global takeover that came into full view with the introduction of covid-19.
