On Tuesday, Guido revealed that Reeves claimed she was an “economist” on legal filings made during her time at HBOS. However, Reeves – by her own admission – was not working as an “economist” at the time as clarified by the edits to her LinkedIn page.

Spanish Farmers Demand Immediate Suspension of EU-Morocco Free Trade Deal Due To “Unfair Competition”, Remix News
Spanish farmers are calling for the immediate suspension of the European Union’s free trade agreement with Morocco following a European Court of Justice (CJEU) ruling last month that annulled the agricultural deal between the bloc and the African nation.
Spanish agricultural unions take issue with the deal because it allows for unfair competition by Moroccan producers who do not need to adhere to the same regulatory standards as EU-based businesses, can use preservatives and other chemicals to enhance their products, and can operate on far smaller budgets.
Just this week, French farmers launched new protests against the deal with Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Bolivia, citing concerns over unfair competition.
Similarly, many Eastern European farmers, Poles in particular, have protested preferential treatment for Ukrainian grain producers over the past two years.

63% of All Welfare Recipients in Germany Have a Migration background, Remix News
Data from the German federal government shows that the overwhelming majority of those receiving welfare payments, known as citizen’s money in Germany, have a foreign background. Of the more than 4 million people who can work but receive social benefits, more than 2.5 million have a migration background, constituting 63.5 per cent.
The cost of providing this social welfare rose to €12.2 billion last year, but in total, Germany spent nearly €50 billion on immigrants and protecting its border last year.

Former Top UN War Crimes Prosecutor Dr. Francis Boyle Reveals Bill Of Impeachment Against Biden in Order to Prevent WW3, Infowars
The leading expert in bioweapons and international law, Dr. Francis Boyle, has drafted a bill of impeachment against Biden and calls on Americans to wield it to help stop World War III.
The Bidenites are trying to sabotage President Trump’s peace initiative, Dr. Boyle said. “They have significantly ratcheted it up, making it more dangerous and, in my opinion, the Bidenites would like to get us into a shooting war with Russia so that they can hand that over to President Trump and make it extremely difficult for him to pursue a peaceful resolution over Ukraine.”
He explained why he had drafted the impeachment bill: “My motivation for drafting these three articles of impeachment is to get a Member of the House to introduce them, immediately, into the House of Representatives … The Republicans are in control of the House, they can call for an immediate vote, they can have Biden impeached by the end of the week and that bill of impeachment be indicted with then be shifted to the Senate for trial.”

An Idiot’s Guide To Cutting CO2 (Alas, The Idiots Are In Charge in the UK), The Conservative Woman
Politicians, including Daniel Zeichner and Ed Miliband, are implementing CO2 reduction methods without proper analysis, driven by the desire to be seen as taking action.
Proposed methods include onshore and offshore wind farms, solar farms, hydrogen production, batteries, and carbon capture and storage, all of which have significant drawbacks and costs.
These methods are often inefficient, expensive and have negative environmental impacts, such as the destruction of food-producing land, harm to wildlife and visual pollution, but are still being heavily invested in by governments.
Other daft ideas have been mooted and some even evaluated, and undoubtedly more harebrained schemes will be dreamed up. But they all come up against the reality of the laws of physics eventually.
The Return of a Vanished Hawaiian Island, Civil Beat
In 2018, Hurricane Walaka wiped a tiny island in the remote northwest of the Hawaiian archipelago off the map. With it went a refuge for threatened green sea turtles (Chelonia mydas) and critically endangered Hawaiian monk seals.
But East Island is making a comeback: it has regained about 60% of its original size, along with some turtle nesting sites and seals.

Antarctica Sea Ice Has “Slowly Increased” Since 1979, Science Paper Finds, The Daily Sceptic
Sea ice around Antarctica has “slowly increased” since satellite monitoring began in 1979 according to a study published in The Cryosphere. The paper found no conclusive evidence that human activity is behind the changes, contrary to mainstream media claims.
The Financial Times previously warned of a “catastrophic cascade of extreme environmental events” linked to declining Antarctic ice. Yet, EU weather service Copernicus acknowledges there is “no clear long-term trend” in Antarctic sea ice since 1979 and notes Arctic ice decline has “levelled off since 2007.”
Japan Looks to Nuclear Energy to Power AI-Powered Data Centre Boom, The Register
Hokkaido Electric Power is seeking to restart its Tomari Number 3 nuclear reactor due to a surge in demand from local data centres. The reactor’s operator, Susumu Saito, believes nuclear power is “indispensable for achieving carbon neutrality” by 2050.
Japan is investing heavily in AI and data centre projects, with companies like Rapidus, Softbank, and ServiceNow planning major initiatives. The country’s energy demand is expected to increase significantly, with nuclear power seen as a key solution to meet this demand.

Second Baltic Sea Cable Cut; Germany Suspects Sabotage, The Epoch Times
Damage to two undersea fibre-optic communication cables in the Baltic Sea – one between Lithuania and Sweden, and the other between Finland and Germany – should be regarded as sabotage, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said on Tuesday.
A 218-km (135-mile) internet link between Lithuania and Sweden’s Gotland Island went out of service at about 8 a.m. GMT on Sunday. Later, Finnish state-controlled cyber security and telecoms company Cinia revealed that a separate 1,200-kilometre (745-mile) cable connecting Helsinki to the German port of Rostock has also stopped working, around 2 a.m. GMT on Monday.
There are about 400 subsea cables across the world, connecting islands, countries, regions, and continents. Subsea cables, which are about as thick as a garden hose, use optical fibre technology to transmit electronic communications data at the speed of light.
