Until recently, ‘Cancer Care ’ was banned on Amazon.  In mid-September, it disappeared from Amazon without any warning.  The next day Amazon emailed Dr. Marik saying that his account had been terminated for spreading misinformation which was damaging to their customers.

It is now available on Amazon again, see HERE.  Better still, FLCCC Alliance has made a PDF copy of it available to download for free.  You can read a copy of Cancer Care online and download a copy for yourself HERE and you can read a summary of the book HERE.

Dr. Marik’s book Cancer Care is a review of published literature on repurposed drugs that can be used in cancer treatment.

It is not intended as a stand-alone guide to treating cancer.  The treatment interventions outlined in the book should be used as adjunctive therapy in addition to the treatment provided by an oncologist, with the goal of reducing the toxicity of standard chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy.

Patients with cancer should always consult with their regular oncologist, an integrative provider/oncologist, and their primary care provider, and review the information in the book independently to validate its reliability and discuss treatment options with their family/healthcare advocates.

A repurposed drug is one that is used “off-label,” which means it has not been reviewed and approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) for that particular indication.  Using drugs off-label is not uncommon, around 30% of all prescriptions in the United States are written for off-label uses.

The therapies included in the book were selected based on data that demonstrates that the compound kills cancer cells, enhances the killing of cancer cells in the presence of chemotherapeutic drugs and has sufficient scientific evidence of being safe and effective.

Dr. Marik studied over 2,000 peer-reviewed papers to select the therapies included in Cancer Care, and the following criteria were used to stratify the recommendations: a meta-analysis of observational and/or randomised controlled trials (“RCTs”), prospective RCTs and/or observational studies, epidemiological data, case series, individual case reports, and in vivo and in vitro models.

The book is a “living” document that will be continuously updated and refined, and readers are advised to ensure they are reviewing the most recent version.

Cancer as a Metabolic Disease

Conventional thinking suggests that cancer arises because of genetic mutations. However, there is more and more evidence to show this theory may not be entirely correct. An alternate theory is the metabolic theory.  Accepting this theory leads to very different treatment strategies than the ones traditionally used.

The metabolic theory of cancer suggests that cancer is caused by disordered energy production and cellular metabolism, with cancer cells relying on glucose as their primary source of energy rather than oxygen.

This theory contrasts with the conventional genetic mutation theory, which posits that specific genetic mutations in normal cells transform them into cancer cells, leading to uncontrolled cell growth and proliferation.

The metabolic theory implies that any cell within the body has the potential to become a cancer cell if metabolic alterations occur and that targeting cancer metabolism may offer new therapeutic strategies to inhibit tumour growth and survival.

Cancer Statistics and Prevention

According to the American Cancer Society, nearly 2 million new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed in the US in 2023, with approximately 609,820 people expected to die from cancer, which translates to about 1,670 deaths per day.

At least 42% of newly diagnosed cancers in the US are potentially avoidable, with 19% caused by smoking and 18% caused by a combination of excess body weight, alcohol consumption, poor nutrition and physical inactivity.

To prevent cancer, people can take several steps, including quitting smoking, reducing or limiting alcohol consumption, losing weight, adopting a healthy diet, managing insulin resistance and following a time-restricted eating plan.

Additionally, people can consider taking certain vitamins and nutrients, such as vitamin D3, omega-3 fatty acids, green tea catechins, and melatonin, to help prevent cancer.

Cancer Interventions

Chapter 6 of the book discusses repurposed drugs and nutraceuticals to treat cancer.  Nutraceuticals are products that combine the benefits of nutrition and pharmaceuticals. They are derived from food sources, such as plants, fruits, vegetables and grains, and are designed to provide additional health benefits beyond basic nutrition.

The nutraceuticals and repurposed drugs that have been demonstrated to reduce the risk of developing cancer are likely to be highly effective in treating cancer.

Beginning on page 68, the book lists repurposed drugs to treat cancer classifying them into one of four tiers, with tier one being strongly recommended to tier four as not recommended. For the first two tiers, “strong recommendation” and “weak recommendation,” the book provides the dosage for each drug or nutraceutical listed.

“Patients with cancer should consider taking at least the first 6-10 listed interventions; this can be modified according to the tumour type and the patient’s individual clinical response and preferences. Furthermore, it is important to recognise that many of these interventions act additively/synergistically with one another and with conventional chemotherapy,” Cancer Care states (see page 67).

“Antioxidant supplements (vitamins A, C, and E; coenzyme Q10, and N-acetyl cysteine (NAC)) should be avoided in patients with cancer,” the book warns.

“These antioxidants should specifically be avoided in patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy, as these interventions act largely by increasing oxidant injury, which is minimised by antioxidant supplements. Paradoxically, while oral vitamin C is a potent antioxidant, high dose intravenous vitamin C generates reactive oxygen species that potentiates the effects of chemotherapy and radiation therapy (see section on intravenous vitamin C).” (page 67 and 68)

A list of the top 18 cancer interventions includes glucose management and ketogenic diet, metformin, green tea, exercise, vitamin D3, propranolol, curcumin, ivermectin, mebendazole, melatonin, omega-3 fatty acids, berberine, atorvastatin, disulfiram, stress reduction, sleep and sunshine, among others.

Some of these interventions, such as metformin and propranolol, require a prescription, while others, such as vitamin D3 and omega-3 fatty acids, can be obtained over the counter.

While previously it was a hobby culminating in writing articles for Wikipedia (until things made a drastic and undeniable turn in 2020) and a few books for private consumption, since March 2020 I have become a full-time researcher and writer in reaction to the global takeover that came into full view with the introduction of covid-19. For most of my life, I have tried to raise awareness that a small group of people planned to take over the world for their own benefit. There was no way I was going to sit back quietly and simply let them do it once they made their final move.

cancer is not a disease that is spread by a person. the best care anyone can have is to stay away from those ignorant doctors who recommend torture before death. aka cancer treatment.

Hear Hear Chrisirish67 This article is complete rubbish. The purest soul on the planet is just as likely to get cancer as anyone else. Repurposed drugs are still drugs and all medications interfere with the bodies state -of -the -art, faster than a bullet communication system which is designed to keep us alive. We have repurposed the bodies’ healing mechanisms as infections and diseases, thus leaving the body/mind/spirit open to the ravages of slow death by treatment (should I say mutilation and poison). If you want to understand our amazing, magical bodies and the true basis of health look up gnm.

It looks to me that cancer is the last effort of the body to enclose the poisons it couldn’t get rid of on the normal ways. Just 50-60 years ago in Central Europe where I lived it was so rare that people gossiped about the (only) one in the whole village long.

It has become frequent with our lifestyle and with changing natural fertilizers to artificial ones. Back then a man had a working cancer cure and its base was to supplement (back) the missing micro nutrients. He was an agriculture engineer, he made a discovery early that plants and trees who got artificial fertilizers were weaker, ill and they needed more bug control (poisonous chemicals), it led him to the discovery of the real cause.
