Revelations about the Center for Countering Digital Hate’s (“CCDH’s”) nefarious operations keep coming.

In an article published yesterday, The Gateway Pundit describes how, in 2020-2022, CCDH partnered with US taxpayer-funded Restless Development to counter covid “disinformation” and censor US conservative news organisations.

CCDH, led by suspected spy Imran Ahmed, successfully got websites such as The Gateway Pundit, Zero Hedge, and The Federalist reported and demonetised, and added to “blocklists” to restrict their advertising revenue.

Although UK-based, CCDH’s efforts have been funded by various government agencies and organisations, including the Obama Foundation, USAID, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the US Department of Health and Human Services.

Curiously, even though it is allegedly a British outfit, the name is spelled using American English (“Center”) instead of using British English (“Centre”).

Some Background on CCDH

From time to time over the years we have published articles about Center for Countering Digital Hate (“CCDH”), a UK based non-governmental organisation (“NGO”), which has been actively involved in various censorship campaigns to protect the preferred narrative of governments.  Below is a brief summary of our previous articles.

During the covid era, governments and shadowy organisations, led by the Biden-Harris administration in the US and the UK’s National Security and Online Information Team (“NSOIT”), secretly collaborated to silence dissent and criminalise those who questioned their official narrative.

CCDH was a key player in this global censorship infrastructure, partnering with governments, NGOs and Big Tech companies to silence dissent, especially regarding health policies, vaccines and civil liberties.

One of CCDH’s nefarious operations was to target the “Disinformation Dozen,” a group of 12 Americans who raised legitimate concerns about vaccine safety and government pandemic policies, leading to their de-platforming, defamation and threats of legal action.

Dr. Joseph Mercola was given top billing on CCDH’s “Disinformation Dozen” list.  The others on CCDH’s hitlist were Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Ty and Charlene Bollinger, Sherri Tenpenny, Rizza Islam, the late Rashid Buttar, Erin Elizabeth, Sayer Ji, Kelly Brogan, Christiane Northrup, Ben Tapper and Kevin Jenkins.

CCDH’s Disinformation Dozen report was used by the Biden Administration to justify censoring vaccine-critical content on social media, despite the report’s flaws and exaggerated statistics.

In October 2024, then UK Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology Peter Kyle asked Ofcom to implement key components of the Online Safety Act urgently, citing the harm caused by online “disinformation” during recent civil unrest.

Two organisations, “fact checker” Full Fact (FullFact.org) and CCDH, were lobbying Ofcom to shape the powers, duties and members of the Advisory Committee on Disinformation and Misinformation.  Both organisations have links to past and/or present UK governments, with Full Fact being funded by technology giants and the CCDH being run by a suspected spy, Imran Ahmed.

Also in October 2024, it was discovered that Morgan McSweeney, Sir Keir Starmer’s Chief of Staff, was at the centre of Britain’s interference in the US elections.  McSweeney, who founded CCDH, had plans to “kill Musk’s Twitter” and had been working to strengthen ties with the Biden/Harris administration and US Democratic Party.  UK Labour Party officials, including McSweeney, had been advising Kamala Harris’s campaign, with over 100 Labour Party staffers being sent to the USA to support her campaign.

US Government Agencies Caught Censoring and ‘Block-Listing’ The Gateway Pundit and Others with the Help of Radical UK Anti-Conservative Censorship Group

By Jim Hoft as published by The Gateway Pundit on 23 January 2025

Internet sleuth Bad Kitty Unleashed released an explosive report this week on how the Center for Countering Digital Hate partnered with the US taxpayer-funded Restless Development organisation to counter, blacklist, censor and silence covid “disinformation” in 2021 and beyond.

Read Bad Kitty’s entire report on Twitter (now X) HERE or Thread Reader App HERE (archived HERE).

Imran Awan, the CEO at the Center for Countering Digital Hate (“CCDH”), bragged about getting conservative news organisations such as The Gateway Pundit, The Federalist and Zero Hedge reported to social media and demonetised! Especially from Google Ads, a prominent advertiser online.

According to Bad Kitty Unleashed, Restless Development is funded by numerous big money leftist groups and government agencies, including:

  • Obama Foundation
  • United States Agency for International Development (“USAID”)
  • US Department of Health and Human Services (“HHS”)
  • Clinton Health Initiative
  • Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
  • United Nations
  • The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (“SIDA”)
  • Norwegian Agency for Exchange Cooperation (“NOREC”)
  • Irish Aid
  • Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (“FCDO”)
  • Ford Foundation
  • Danish International Development Agency (“DANIDA”)

Here is their complete list of donors:

According to the CCDH and Restless Development, “the reports have been produced from this collaboration have been used in the US Congress, UK Parliament, in gov briefings and media reporting across the world, particularly influencing the deliberations surrounding the Online Safety Bill and the scope of online harms.”

The CCDH and Restless Development “Stop Funding Hate” campaign also included “blocklists” that contained websites and platforms they created to blacklist and defund targeted websites like The Gateway Pundit.

The Stop Funding Misinformation campaign also carries blocklists.

Here’s a sampling:

  • The Gateway Pundit
  • Zero Hedge
  • The Federalist
  • Breitbart
  • Rebel News
  • American Greatness (AM Greatness)

Here is the full list:

The Stop Funding Misinformation collaborative are very happy with their work to destroy certain covid “misinformation offenders.”

In fact, Imran Ahmed bragged during testimony in front of the UK Parliament that his group had successfully spurred Google to stop monetising The Gateway Pundit.

Imran said this during testimony in front of the UK Parliament in September 2021, when he bragged about successfully working for over a year to push Google to demonetise The Gateway Pundit (emphasis added):

There is even a video of Imran Ahmed’s testimony before the UK Parliament about how glad he was to push Google to demonetise The Gateway Pundit after a year of campaigning Google to do so.  Here is the Imran testimony – via Bad Kitty Unleashed:

CCDH’s CEO Imran Ahmed provides evidence to the UK Parliament on Online Safety Bill.  You can watch the full video on CCDH’s YouTube HERE.  The clip is taken from timestamp 22:08.

The Stop Funding Misinformation website also included The Gateway Pundit in their “blocklist” of racist propaganda because we did not support the George Floyd movement.

The Stop Funding Misinformation Campaign bragged about demonetising The Gateway Pundit after a year-long campaign.  From their website:

They openly bragged about taking down Google ads off of The Gateway Pundit, based on their published lies.

In 2022 the US State Department announced that USAID was working with Restless Development. This likely included funding.

Bad Kitty Unleashed has discovered how US taxpayer dollars were used to fund foreign groups to demonetise and destroy conservative content and conservative websites.  This shows a direct link between the US Government and their financial support of the international censorship media complex.

While previously it was a hobby culminating in writing articles for Wikipedia (until things made a drastic and undeniable turn in 2020) and a few books for private consumption, since March 2020 I have become a full-time researcher and writer in reaction to the global takeover that came into full view with the introduction of covid-19. For most of my life, I have tried to raise awareness that a small group of people planned to take over the world for their own benefit. There was no way I was going to sit back quietly and simply let them do it once they made their final move.
