Heartbreaking – Council in Australia shoots rescue dogs to prevent volunteers travelling to the area despite not one single case of Covid-19 being recorded

Several rescue dogs being kept in a pound while waiting to be saved by a shelter have been shot dead by a New South Wales council in Australia, as part of their strategy to prevent COVID-19 spread.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported that Bourke Shire Council (in north west NSW) killed the rescue dogs to stop volunteers from an animal shelter in Cobar from travelling into the area. According to the Office of Local Government, the council did so as part of a strategy to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19 through people travelling to rescue them.

“OLG (Office of Local Government) has been informed that the council decided to take this course of action to protect its employees and community, including vulnerable Aboriginal populations, from the risk of COVID-19 transmission,” a spokesman from the government agency said.

Cobar hasn’t reported any positive COVID-19 cases yet, though traces of the virus have allegedly been found in the area’s sewage system.

The OLG spokesman said the agency was probing the incident to ensure that no animal cruelty laws had been broken.

A source told SMH that the shelter volunteers are distressed by what happened and had Covid-safe measures in place for the pick up. The source also reported that one of the dogs was a new mum.

The Office of Local Government issued advice to all councils about operating pounds during the pandemic, saying that pounds should update their procedures to make sure these services continue, while still keeping staff and volunteers safe.

“Councils are also encouraged to continue to work with re-homing organisations and volunteers to care for animals, where that can be undertaken consistent with NSW Health advice,” the spokesman said.

In July, the agency said pounds and shelters could remain open to the public during the pandemic since people involved in animal welfare are authorised workers in locked-down areas, which begs the question as to why the council felt it fit to shoot the dogs.

Australia has fallen.

If one of the dogs was a new mum did they shoot the puppies too? Sick bastards.
Protect your beloved animals. Keep them safe. The Nazis went door to door collecting dogs from the Warsaw ghettoes, took all the dogs into a field and shot them. One brave woman could not bear to abandon her beloved dog. She went with her dog into the field and was shot dead still holding her beloved dog in her arms.
This time around, don’t be taken by surprise. Be prepared. Learn from history and don’t let it repeat.

Pictures have emerged showing how Stalin’s ‘canine killers’ were deployed in the Second World War against Nazi tanks.
The kamikaze dogs were fitted with explosives and taught to carry them to tanks, armoured vehicles and other targets.
The use of these dogs in battle was first approved in 1924 and continued into the 1990swith special training to ensure they ran to their deaths in front of enemy tanks.

Initially, the aim was for the dog to put the bomb in position, biting on a cord to release it, or by remote control.
However, in the heat of battle the frightened animals often failed to release the bomb and – faced with the desperate need to counter German forces surging east – the bombs were fitted to the dog and exploded on impact with the target, killing the dog.

And Hitler was a vegetarian too I’ve never forgiven the SCIENTISTS who do those things Like the scientists who sent that poor dog into space alone to die in that capsule .Unforgivable And the things scientists have done to animals globally ,all of them is monstrous Evil The most evil people on the planet And no the ends do not justify the means .Nothing justifies psychopaths cruelty

thousands, probably millions of animals in rescue centres are taken to the vets for mass lethal injection every year because homes cant be found for them.

If you have ever witnessed how wrong those lethal injections can go & have been asked to leave the room because your terminally ill pet refuses to die after it’s been given the lethal injection & becomes extremely petrified and stressed, you are ushered out of the room so it can be given another lethal injection straight into the heart, it’s a horror you will never forget.

Hitler loved his dog so much, he had Dr. Morel insert a cyanide capsul in the dog’s mouth and made the dog clamp down.

Hitler watched his dog die. He should have let the dog live.

He surely didn’t love his dog, right?

I’m in Australia and without the truckers the nation will quickly grid to a halt. If it takes place the politicians will have no way of dealing with it.

I have both Australian and ex pat Australian friends who have been promising me that there would be a tipping point soon & that the tough Australian fighting spirit (we all know and love), would be putting a stop to this genocidal country destroying madness very soon.

All power to the Aussie truckers and good people of Australia. Our countries belong to us, NOT the corrupt politicians and fraud royalty & its about time these bludgers relearned that the hard way.

What would worry me is that some deranged animal lover decides that tit for tat action on the council members is called for

The animal lovers in that instance wouldn’t be the deranged ones.

It’s a well known fact that people who murder animas often go on to murder people. With the genocidal maniacs in Government Australia we are seeing it happen in reverse.
