Due to the UK government’s Zero Emission Vehicle mandate, car manufacturers are limiting the supply of petrol and hybrid cars to meet electric vehicle sales quotas and avoid potential fines, according to a law that took effect in January.
The Government has dictated that 80% of new cars and 70% of new vans sold in Great Britain will be zero emission by 2030, increasing to 100% by 2035.
The climate mandate may spell disaster for the auto industry but it aligns with the Globalist ideal of reducing private car ownership. Last year, the World Economic Forum outlined a framework for a 75% reduction in private cars by 2050 to reduce carbon emissions.

British Automakers Begin Rationing Gas Cars Over Climate Mandates
The following was originally published by The Gold Report on 5 September 2024.
Car manufacturers in the UK have started rationing out gas vehicles to comply with the government’s climate mandate, according to one of the country’s largest car dealerships.
A law that took effect in January restricts how many new gas cars and vans can be sold annually in the UK. Twenty-two per cent of all new cars sold in 2024 must be zero-emissions vehicles (“ZEVs”), capping the sale of gasoline-powered vehicles at 78%. The cap will become more restrictive each year until 2035 when all cars sold will be required to be ZEVs.
The ZEV mandate has already caused automakers to begin rationing how many gas vehicles they send to dealerships. Carmakers who do not meet the ZEV quota will be fined £15,000 ($19,680) for each gas vehicle beyond the quota.
Vertu Motors, one of the UK’s largest car dealers, says it is experiencing a gasoline vehicle shortfall because car manufacturers are afraid to exceed the limit.
“It’s almost as if we can’t supply the cars that people want, but we’ve got plenty of the cars that maybe they don’t want,” Vertu Motors CEO Robert Forrester told The Telegraph on Monday.
“They [manufacturers] are trying to avoid the fines. So they’re constraining the ability for us to supply petrol cars in order to try and keep to the government targets.”
Industry Already Smarting From Low EV Demand
The climate mandate may spell disaster for the auto industry which is already reeling from plummeting consumer demand for electric vehicles (“EVs”). Twenty-nine per cent of global EV owners are considering switching to gasoline cars for their next purchase. The lack of enthusiasm has prompted several of the world’s top carmakers to abandon EV projects and investments, including the UK’s own Aston Martin.
Forrester called supporters of the ZEV mandate “economic buffoons, because car manufacturers are being forced to discount EVs to such an extent that they’re making losses … and that is not a good thing for business.”
“What the Government’s actually doing is constraining the new car market, which has a big impact on VAT receipts for them, and creates a business environment in the UK where manufacturers may question whether they want to make cars here.
“As Carlos Tavares [chief executive of Stellantis] has said, why should they sell cars at a loss because of UK government policy?
“The new car market is no longer a market, unfortunately. It’s a state-imposed supply chain.”

Reducing Private Car Ownership
The rationing of gas cars appears to align with the globalist ideal of reducing private car ownership. Last year, the World Economic Forum (“WEF”) outlined a framework for a 75% reduction in private cars by 2050 to reduce carbon emissions.
The WEF’s campaign against private car ownership stretches back several years. In 2018, the organisation praised cities that decided to ban cars from certain areas, hoping it would be a rallying cry “for cities around the country to go car-free.”
Many of them are answering the WEF’s call. A conglomerate of nearly 100 mayors called the C40 is implementing Zero Emission Areas, or “clean air zones,” where there are no carbon emissions. In Zero Emission Areas private car transport is discouraged and residents are pushed to walk, cycle or ride public transportation.
Some see the reduction in private car ownership as a prelude to 15-minute cities, which the C40 has also begun to implement.

So Starmer is only is using his PM’ship to further his target of Leadership in the Communists proxy UK Government’s Set-up in an attempt to Snatch the tightly contested slot for Prime Minister within Uncle Claus’s WEF. Not giving his 100% to the UK surly must put him in Violation of Loyalty to King and Country and bringing MI5 into Disrepute and possibly in Partnership with Starmer in a Similar Judas type Traitorous partnership on par with the CIA and the UK’s Judiciary and the US’s Department of Justice. Added to this the PM of the WEF move against Fossil Fuels makes one wonder what has Starmer been doing for Three+ Years past with the Biden Administration failed efforts in the same area of ‘E’ Car’s…… what about ‘E’ Air Travel! Bingo
wow!! 12Dr. Richard Fleming: Bioweapons and eugenics, are we the next endangered species?
Once upon a time, cigarette-smoking was considered safe; a lot of studies were done to “support” that claim; those studies were sponsored by the cigarette makers. There were a lot of studies on EMF from the cell phones, and we know the EMF from the cell phones is inherently carcinogenic; so all types of EMF from all types of e-devices are inherently carcinogenic because the EMFs generate free radicals. Those devices include the EVs. Some studies on the EMF from the EVs claim that EVs are safe thanks to the shield between the engine bay and the cabin. Well, who are the sponsors of those studies? Governments that jabbed some of us with the deadly poison (aka Fauci Coolaid) against our will or conned us to attempt collective suicide with the Coolaid have long lost the credibility. If those studies that claim safety of EVs were replicated by impartial third parties, the results would be very different. First, the EMF radiation does not travel straight like a line of sight; it is an energy field. Second, all man-made EMFs interfere with our own electric currents in our body and with Schumann Resonance which regulates our neural frequency. EVs use battery packs with from 400v to 900v depending on the model. The higher the voltage, the stronger the field. At home, we are exposed to EMF fields from mostly 110v. So for the same reason why I refuse to live under power lines, I refuse to get near any EVs, let alone drive one.
The truthful long-term health effects of the EMFs from the EVs will soon be available, we hope.
Bottom line is, if the globalists want us to do something, do the opposite. They do NOT have our best interests in mind…

I am not aware of electric vehicle sales here in the U.S., but my guess is that they are decreasing.
Yes, a few years ago I did purchase a Tesla. I had test driven them several times. I simply wanted to try something different. I knew some limitations of them; mileage abilities, glass roof, finding/having a charging station. Yet I bought one anyway. Most comfortable car I have ever owned, drove like butter.
Getting to the charging station was miles of driving. There were peak hour extra fees where you paid more. It got a max of 320 miles of top charge. Normally you could only charge 260 miles, which was used up fast. The car got incredibly hot when parked in the sun, as did the glass roof. I was fearful of putting a kayak rack on the car. So, 6 months after I bought it, I decided to trade it in for a hybrid Toyota, no electric, but great mpg. I love my new vehicle and am grateful I sold the Tesla. It was an amazing experience however….
WHY are these plebs in power in UK govt even listening to these psychopaths in WEF, UN and WHO, that are in UNELECTED organisations that only intend harm, damage and destruction to the world civilisation?
So how do they propose somebody do their shopping in these no car zones? Just buy a little at a time and what you can carry? What about people that are either disabled or can’t get around very well? Normally those people would use a car, but at that option is close to them, then what? Expensive taxies and ubers? Obviously, these 15 minutes cities are going to be made for the young and healthy. The old and or disabled will also be phased out it seems.

So why does a car have a MOT!?
Wow, this car rationing scheme feels wild. I drove a petrol model last month and barely found any. Makers are holding back gas cars to dodge fines, and folks end up stuck with options they didn’t pick. I get the climate push, but it’s flipping the market upside down. EV demand seems shaky, too. I peeked at CarsRadiation.org, a good resource on car EMFs, and saw people also fret about those levels. It adds another twist. Are we trading one headache for another? Balancing emissions cuts and a healthy auto industry is a tightrope walk. Honestly, feels like regulators and manufacturers are in a slow-motion tug-of-war. Consumers really deserve clarity, not a market reshuffle that leaves them guessing and frustrated.
