Emma Kenny, the resident psychologist of ITV’s – This Morning, and columnist of Closer magazine has been subjected to a disgusting witch hunt orchestrated by Natasha Devon through her organisation the ‘Mental Health Media Charter’.

Emma, who earned her degree in psychology at the University of Central Lancashire, and gained a masters in counselling from the University of Manchester was publicly shamed on Twitter by Natasha Devon’s ‘MH Media’ who wrote –

‘Announcement: With a heavy heart we have taken the decision to remove Emma Kenny from our list of ambassadors. We are grateful for her support, but cannot be seen to endorse her social media output during the pandemic, which could endanger lives. We have written to her.’

Emma, who throughout the pandemic has been an advocate for the Mental Health of the public due to the devastating effects of Government imposed lock downs responded by saying –

‘Thanks…I didn’t know I was a part of it? But it seems a bit weird to announce this when I’ve not actually been aware of any work I’m meant to have done. Also strange to put it on social media in this way?’

Emma had a mass of supporters in immediate uproar at the MH Media tweet with one supporter responding –

‘Sorry but Emma’s help was invaluable to me during the first lockdown when I was shielding with Cancer and could not get food – a genuinely kind woman.’

This was followed by Matt Le Tissier – ex footballer who replied to @MHMediaCharter –

‘Could you be any more ignorant’

Tania Buxton, a British Television Presenter and author tweeted in support for Emma Kenny –

‘Everyone needs to boycott this trust as it has removed on of the only people on this platform who has helped people who are suffering with mental health during this Lockdown hell.’

This flurry of support for Emma soon forced the MH Media Twitter account to switch from public to private meaning the tweet could no longer be seen. Not long after that MH Media removed their Twitter account altogether, however as of this morning it is back but still set to private.

The ‘Mental Health Media Charter’ is an organisation launched by Natasha Devon, who is a recent addition to the LBC lineup. It is a set of 7 simple guidelines for ensuring imagery and language used in mental health reporting is responsible, genuinely educational and stigma-reducing. So what exactly is The Mental Health media charter’s problem with Emma Kenny?

Well we did some digging and found this disgusting tweet addressed to Emma’s employees only a few days ago…

‘This Morning and Closer, how can you justify employing a mental-health expert who used her platform to bash hard working nhs.uk staff, misleadingly accusing them of ‘neglect’?

It’s pretty clear this is a witch hunt and an attempt to destroy the career of one of the greatest advocated for mental health awareness out there during this extremely difficult time. Natasha Devon and the Mental Health Media Charter are just asking to be sued, surely?

The Daily Expose decided to delve even further and found Emma Kenny to be a true advocate for Mental Health support and awareness, supported by her announcement she will be doing a Mental Health Live Clinic on Christmas Day from 8:30pm onwards.

Meanwhile Natasha Devon and the Mental Health Charter…well they’re too busy telling you to follow the devestating government guidance to the letter, and endorsing the Center for Countering Digital Hate’s propaganda on ‘How to be a vaccine ally’ to actually give two s***s about anyone’s mental health.
