Boris surrenders to the French – A sad day in Britain’s history

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

A “Brexit” deal has been agreed between the British Government and the EU that is going to leave a bad taste in the mouth for many in Great Britain.

The deal will see Great Britain concede the rights to access it’s own waters to the French and other EU members for over 5 years. It has reportedly been agreed that from June 2026, Britain and the EU will “hold talks” annually to discuss access.

“Fishing” had reportedly been the last remaining obstacle in negotiations with the EU not moving on it’s position to take full advantage of British waters. Sadly, our Prime Minister who at the start of the year filled us with hope and optimism, surrendered to the EU, specifically the French and signed on the dotted line to give up British waters. Boris should hang his head in shame.

In a press conference the Prime Minister lied by saying – “For the first time since 1973 the UK will be an independent coastal state with full control of our waters”. Sadly that doesn’t even have a hint of truth to it.

Boris was asked whether the EU had conceded anything themselves in the deal, he responded – “It would be fair to say that we wanted to make sure for instance that we got complete control of our fisheries from the get go and that’s just to say we had annual negotiations on fisheries within the shortest possible delay. The EU began with I think wanting a transition period of 14 years, we wanted 3 years, we’ve ended up with 5 years.”

Ms von der Leyen, the President of the European Commison said “We have secured five and half years of predictability for our fishing communities.”

A message to Boris Johnson: please don't surrender to EU bullying

Mr Barnier, the Chief Negotiator said – “We have achieved reciprocal access to waters and to resources, and with the new distribution of fishing quotas and fishing opportunities which has been directly agreed, as is only natural, between the president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and Prime Minister Johnson, with taking account of Britain’s new status as an independent coastal state, that is a state which will no longer be part of the common fisheries policy just a few days from now. This agreement will require efforts. I know the European Union will support its fishermen and women, will accompany them, and that is our commitment.”

To add to the embarrassment for Britain, Emmanuel Macron the Globalist who has committed what some would call an act of war by ordering the closing of French borders in their entirety to Britain, Emmanuel Macron, tweeted the following –

“The unity and strength of Europe paid off. The agreement with the United Kingdom is essential to protect our citizens, our fishermen, our producers. We will make sure that this is the case.”

That’s France 2 – 0 Great Britain, and both victories for them came within 48 hours.

Shame on you Mr Johnson, where is your backbone?
