Earlier today, a reader left a comment under one of our articles describing a BBC Radio 4 programme, ‘Farming Today’, aired at 6:30 am this morning.
The subject of the radio programme was the farmers’ protests taking place across Europe, what UK farmers make of them and whether they are planning their own direct action.
Our reader in relatively few words was able to expose the BBC’s nefarious plan. BBC should take note that its listeners, viewers and the public at large are not the fools they presume them to be.

BBC Radio 4’s Farming Today; A Comment by a Reader
This morning, I heard most of BBC Radio 4’s ‘Farming Today’ programme. I heard it from about 06:40 and it was all about the farmers’ protests. The hidden hand of BBC Verify and Marianna Spring was obvious to anyone who has had the benefit of reading the articles by The Exposé and is aware of their tactics.
After a report on the protests in Europe and giving us details of the EU’s concessions made to the farmers’ demands, it switched to the British angle and they interviewed a university expert on EU agricultural policy, then a representative from the farmer’s union, the National Famers’ Union (“NFU”), then a representative from some other farmers’ body.
Both of these representatives claimed that British farmers didn’t want to protest. The NFU man said that the NFU had not been given a mandate from the members to take action and he thought there was a better way.
Then they interviewed a farmer from Somerset who had organised protests in the form of blockading supermarket distribution depots.
Then they spoke to the man who set up ‘No Farmers, No Food’.
The last man to be interviewed was a farmer.
In five out of the six interviews, the BBC reporter directed the interviews onto the threat of infiltration by the far right – a standard tactic – throwing in the far-right label, the other one being anti-Semitism.
To be fair, in the first part that I heard (I missed the first ten minutes) they did say both the far-left and far-right were trying to take advantage of the protests, but the BBC seemed, to me, to be trying to convince farmers that the protests are motivated by sinister political actors with the aim of the BBC being to put off farmers from joining protests.
If that last interviewee was genuinely a farmer, then he was specially chosen for his views. To me, he was a BBC Verify plant (no pun intended). He told of how the ‘No Farmers, No Food’ website was promoting crazy conspiracy theories such as climate change denial, an anti-Net Zero message, crazy talk of the elite and governments planning to cut food production and starve people. He said sensible people don’t believe it – in my view – the aim of the BBC being to put off farmers from joining protests. They saved him until last so that the BBC Verify propaganda sticks in the minds of the listeners.
So, the BBC made sure that their slant, i.e., the far-right claim, was hammered home with it being raised in five out of the six interviews. Another point was the BBC is now reporting on French farmers, German, Polish and others, but never have, and still won’t even mention Dutch farmers. My view on why that is, is that they can talk about the other farmers protesting against tax on diesel and other issues that are not too controversial, but they don’t want to mention the tyranny of land confiscation, since that exposes the WEF \ UN agenda of planned famine and backs up those who say it is happening – the people that farmer calls crazy conspiracy theorists.
This is to the best of my recollection and includes my opinion on the programme, so please check for yourself on the accuracy of my reporting. The programme is available to listen to for about 29 days.
[Note from RW: So readers outside the UK can listen to the programme and it can be listened to beyond the BBC’s 29-day availability limit, we have uploaded a copy of the BBC Radio 4 programme below which was described on BBC’s website as follows.]
All week across Europe farmers have been protesting. In France, convoys of tractors blocked roads into Paris, in Brussels campaigners blockaded the streets, threw eggs and started fires. The European Commission and national governments have made some concessions to try and address the farmers’ concerns over environmental rules, competition from cheaper imports and taxes on agricultural fuel.
We speak to the President of Copa, one-half of Copa Cogeca, which represents millions of farmers and farming coops across the EU and find out from the BBC’s Paris correspondent, what’s happening there. Also, we look at what UK farmers make of the protests and whether they are planning their own direct action.
Presenter = Caz Graham. Producer = Rebecca Rooney.

[Note from RW: Our reader later added the following as a second comment.]
I have just remembered something else that was said in the programme and I think it was by the last interviewee – the plant. It was something about how farmers shouldn’t believe (or possibly should be suspicious of) claims from people organising protests that they are trying to help farmers. Again, this fits my view of the BBC trying to put farmers off protesting.
Another thing, on the point of not protesting and the NFU representative saying there is a better way. I think it was the man who created ‘No Farmers, No Food’, who said that they had been negotiating for ten years and it had got them nowhere.

Yes, clearly an attempt to dissuade farmers from protesting, but there is another agenda here. Now the BBC can refute what most of us have been saying, that the BBC have not even reported on the issue. Well, now they have, but only on “Farming Today”, a programme aimed specifically at farmers but not for general consumption by the British public. We still won’t here of this on the ten o’ clock news.
It was on Sky News yesterday. I was very surprised to see it.
Hi Ken, Farming Today, each weekday at 05:45 (so not many listeners I suspect), often reports on news to do with farming and the political issues around farming that don’t get reported on the main news. Many, maybe most, farmers know what is going on, so the BBC has to try to maintain credibility and daren’t go overboard with their propaganda. They daren’t push too hard or their slanted reporting will become obvious.
How ironic. A BBC programme aimed at farmers, bashing farmers. The BBC have lost all credibility.
Thanks Rhoda for giving me the chance to hear the part I missed. About the woman at the start with the French accent who said, “We need food from Europe”. The BBC will of course, broadcast denials that the Globalists plan to cut food production. I eagerly await the day they report, honestly, on the plight of the Dutch farmers.
Also, what she, and then the man who was on next (Schofield?), said made it sound as though the EU politicians were very nice people who could see that the farmers are right and so they happily conceded to their demands. Is that what happened, or did they see that the farmers had them by the proverbials and they had to concede.
The farmers won a great victory, however the Globalists \ WEF etc. are relentless. They will now be planning how to recover and push through their agenda, just as an army sometimes has to retreat then regroup before their next attack.
Has my attitude towards the BBC caused me to be harsh and unjust in my criticism? Was it actually balanced reporting? I look forward to reading the views of others.
Your good name stolen and copyrighted by the British Crown? Your natural political status denigrated to the level of an animal or worse? And who was playing God that day in 1940, when the British Territorial U.S. Congress thought it good to pass the Buck Act? Or when they founded Hamas? Isis? And Hezbollah? Germans working for the Pope pretending to sit on the English Throne and to be Protestant Monarchs? Placentas being passed off as stillborn fraternal twins and then this ruse being used to create infant decedent estate interests for these criminal hypocrites to pillage and plunder? Millions of missing children? We’ve been looking the other way for so long, we’ve forgotten how to look; but, this rampage of corporate criminality and the abuses of commercial law are coming to an end, because we will make it so.

Sadly, the majority continue to fund all this criminality and genocide. They do it with aplomb with no regard for the consequence of their actions. Karma isn’t biased. Those funding not only their own demise but everyone else, will get the karma they rightly deserve.

Stupid is as stupid does. Do one ignoramus.
John likes to quote the Bible, did e get that from the Bible?
We let JFK’s murder stand under a manure pile of government secrecy and obvious Warren Commission lies. We accepted the same snow jobs with RFK, MLK, Princess Diana, Vince Foster, and so many other people who depended on us for justice. We turned our backs on Randy Weaver’s wife, baby, and young son. We didn’t look at what went on in Waco and the massacre of the Branch Davidians. We were horrified but did nothing about LaVoy Finicum. Nothing about the Colorado Nine. Nothing about Russell Means, Don Benson, Steve Curry and thousands of other Americans who have suffered and died under the bootheels of lawless piratical foreign corporations acting as “government services providers” and phony judges acting as bill collectors taking a cut on commission.

Oh John, you are as likeable as sunshine.
Hi Watcher Seeker, if you would like me to delete a comment because it is unnecessarily offensive, please let me know.
Thanks Rhoda, but I just find them amusing, sticks and stones you know.
About something said by the last interviewee, Jim Stanley (was that his name?) He said, “Farmers are the most exposed part of the economy when we are talking about climate change and we are also the best positioned part of the economy that can offer solutions” – I regard this as tricky language that is contrived to “say but not say”, i.e. to disguise the true meaning of his words, to cover up the facts – but the BBC can later say “Well, we did report it” – but few understood what was said.
“the most exposed part of the economy” – my translation = under attack from the eco-zealots in the government and other political parties.
“the best positioned part of the economy that can offer solutions” – my translation = the solution we can offer is to cut farming dramatically, we can turn prime agricultural land into solar farms and we can stop raising livestock and breed bugs to provide protein.
Disclaimer – I am a conspiracy theorist and a cynic, so please take that into account when reading my opinions.
A bit more the idea of “a plant”. What I mean by that is the BBC making specific choices of whose comments they broadcast. I expect they interviewed a few farmers and chose to broadcast the words of that last interviewee because his views were aligned with the BBC’s agenda and others weren’t. Maybe they did a bit of prompting, maybe they didn’t, but the specific choices they make in choosing a “plant” (my term) are not limited to the words spoken.
On 29th January, 2024, I turned the wireless on to hear the Today programme and it was part way through an interview with a farmer. She had a very strong African accent and I presumed the talk was about some farming issue in Africa. I was wrong, it turned out that she was a European farmer.
I missed the start of this interview and in the introduction they had possibly given a valid reason for choosing this person, so please take my next points as speculative.
So the BBC wanted to interview a European farmer and, from across the whole of Europe just happened to find a female farmer who, from her accent, originated from Africa. She was planted, not just because of what she said, but also because of who she was.
They didn’t choose her (“plant her”) to push their agendas on diversity and women? Tell that to six year-olds, they might believe it.
The BBC often covers diversity issues and of course it gives good representation to women with programmes such as Woman’s Hour and others. Fair enough, nothing wrong with that. but there is a difference between covering a topic and underhandedly slipping it in to non-related interviews hoping that people won’t notice the mind-control tactic.
The BBC rams diversity down our throats as it does climate change, and never misses an opportunity to use their “plant” tactic. This is subtle, sneaky mind-control and brainwashing worthy of the nudge unit.
Brought to my attention by Paul Craig Robert s –
I am sick of hearing that anything to the right of Marxism being labelled as far right. It would appear that the mainstream media does not have a journalist with any interest in finding out the truth. They just parrot the narrative of the government without challenge. There are great inconsistencies in the official story but there is no attempt to look into them. Meanwhile, they attack whoever contests any facts and, immediately label them as conspiracy theorists. They do not investigate the matter as journalists used to do. One wonders if they even leave the office but, rely on the computer to find the details for their story.
The Imperialist Nazi’s still claiming ‘The People’ to be as
THEY ACTUALLY ARE…Projection Extraordinaire.
The Imperialist Nazi’s have
LONG BEEN TERRIFIED
by ‘The People’; the population they
KNOW DOES NOT NEED THEM AND THEIR THEFT OF THE PEOPLE’S WORK PRODUCTION CALLED TAXES AND INFLATION MANIPULATED BY THE CITY OF LONDON’S CENTRAL BANKER FAMILY CARTEL.
Indeed, ‘The People’ DO NOT NEED THE Imperial Nazi Uniparty with their International Mafia…And, the result of all they’ve done to hide as they have for thousands of years behind those they enslave and USE AS THEIR ENFORCERS…Will be execution to rid the world of the evil; The Demons Wearing Human Being Suits for at least a few moments to give the world a much deserved vaca until Satan/Lucifer’s antics again begin the Hierarchy of Evil as Human Nature NEVER changes.
Many moons ago the BBC Radio was the most respected and unbiased newscaster.
These days it has bought into the globalist agenda which is full of harm, lies and dishonesty.
One only needs to see what is happening in the streets of London to realise the effect they have had on the great unwashed in Britain.
It is shameful.
The impression of being a “most respected and unbiased newscaster.” was only ever an illusion.
The deception has always been, only now is it more obvious. Nevertheless, there are still masses that haven’t woken up to what is going on, and maybe never will. I am glad that you are not one of them…
Reinstall up and running friend, happy i bit the bullet and got it done. Know my children and hubby will be glad i did too.
Appears my adaptations are at least good but there’s really worrying stuff going on. Too complicated to explain in a comment but personally expect the web as we know it, to crash in the immediate future.
Going to post my new methods in a few Linux forums/blogs, they’ll definitely be welcome. More importantly, not taking my digital KJV Bible and companion for granted, have physical copies too. Also, printing off related stuff which i think is important.
Still loathe my icon here but it’s the least of my worries, not wise to sign into my main email address yet.
