The Brazilian city of Belém is constructing a new four-lane highway that requires the clearance of tens of thousands of acres of protected Amazon Rainforest to facilitate the transportation of globalist elites to the COP30 climate summit in November.

It’s not only the deforestation caused by the construction of the highway that blatantly displays the hypocrisy of the United Nations event; the COP30 climate summit is expected to host over 50,000 people, including world leaders, and will see thousands of attendees flying in for the occasion.

Critics have pointed out the contradiction between the purpose of the climate summit and the destruction of the rainforest, with the partially built road already showing signs of significant deforestation, including logs piled high in the cleared land and machines carving through the forest floor to pave over wetland.

According to Adler Silveira, the state government’s infrastructure secretary, the highway is one of 30 projects aimed at preparing and modernising the city for the COP30 summit, and he has described the highway as a “sustainable highway” and an “important mobility intervention” that will feature wildlife crossings, bike lanes and solar lighting.

You will be forgiven for pausing for a moment to laugh and then wondering how anyone has fallen for the climate change scam.

In addition to the highway, other infrastructure projects are underway in Belém, including the construction of new hotels and the redevelopment of the port to accommodate cruise ships and excess visitors, all of which are intended to provide a “legacy for the population” and serve people attending the COP30 summit “in the best possible way.”
