General practice could be on the verge of a mass exodus of general practitioners (“GPs”), threatening Government plans to boost numbers through recruitment and retention, according to doctors’ leaders.
The Royal College of GPs (RCGPs) estimated that 18,950 GPs and trainees were likely to leave the profession over the next 5 years, with job pressure high on the list of reasons.

An analysis by the RCGP, based on its annual tracking survey of GPs and RCGP members in England, found that of the 1262 respondents, 42% said they were likely to quit general practice in the next 5 years, with 10% expecting to leave next year, and 19% in the next two years.
With a current workforce headcount of more than 45,000 GPs and trainees, the RCGP calculated that this could mean the loss of almost 19,000 GPs and trainees, equivalent to more than 15,000 full-time equivalent GPs.
Apart from the looming demographic of older doctors heading for the exit, the RCGP said its survey results suggested that among those not planning to retire, 60% mentioned that stress, workload, working hours, and a lack of job satisfaction were factors influencing their decision to leave the profession.
Professor Martin Marshall, chair of the RCGP, explained: “The intensity and complexity of our workload is escalating whilst numbers of fully qualified, full-time GPs are falling.
“The College has been sounding alarm bells about the intense pressures GPs and our teams are working under, and the urgent need for support, since well before the pandemic, but Covid has only exacerbated the situation. This is taking its toll on the health and wellbeing of GPs and other members of their teams – pushing many to consider leaving the profession earlier than planned.”
Prof Marshall said: “General practice is the bedrock of the NHS, keeping the service sustainable by making the majority of patient contacts, and alleviating pressures across the health service. But it is a profession and a service in crisis and needs urgent support.”
Earlier this month, England’s Health Secretary Sajid Javid admitted that the Government’s target of recruiting 6000 GPs by 2024 was proving to be “incredibly tough“. It looks like the Government being able to achieve its target is about to get a whole lot tougher.

My extensive background in Human Molecular Genetics pre med school is the reason I can read and research and understand their “bioweapon”. THE VAST MAJORITY OF DOCTORS HAVE NO CLUE AND ARE JUST BEING LED AROUND BY THE NOSE BY FAUCI AND CREWS.
The vast majority of doctors have no clue, because they have been led by their wallet not their nose. Jabbing hundreds of people everyday for weeks on end,first jab, second jab, booster, working their way through the age groups and then bingo a bonus for Jabbing kids. You might be right about the vast majority of doctors not having a clue but that just makes their sin even worse after all they are doctors they should be the most clued up of all.
They were PAID to promote and administer them in any country.

If my local surgery is anything to go by, it’s the patients that will be leaving in droves.
Where will they go?
In the U.S. they instituting CRT medical care – based on race.
I can tell you for a fact< MANY are either retiring or determining their retirement date because that goes against their core.
The NHS is being digitised, you can kiss face to face appointments good bye by 2030. You can also kiss most hospitals goodbye because most treatment will be done in your homes through digital gadgets like monitors – seen the Apple phone for instance ?. It is impossible to have to have digital surgery through gadgets. Robotic surgery is still done by a physician and a team of people. I have had over seven surgeries with it. It’s amazing and in most cases, once you wake up from anesthesia, you can leave. No scars, no cutting, recovery is fast and you heal up faster. It’s hand down better than traditional surgery under the knife.
If you are referring to “telemedicine”, in some cases that works for minor health problems but woefully inadequate with serious health issues where symptoms could be anything. Even still you need a medically trained doctor to determine the health issue. A checklist is unwise but that is probably they will they will go. They really don’t care about you or your health. If anything they want LESS people.
My mention of surgeries was to do with doctor or GP surgeries (places doctors work from nowadays).
Does a doctor take the vaccine if they are then supposed to recommend a person take the vaccine? Spoke to a person yesterday and they are seeing what I am seeing many people injured, disabled or killed by these so called vaccines. Never taking it and in the process I will not be visiting a doctor again for nothing because they aided and abetted the deceit.

The relatives of killed / maimed will seek out retired GPs who took payments in return for injecting people with mRNA – human nature, I’m afraid.
There was a mass exodus during the Obama regime of doctors. I talked to one who said that they refuse to take a pay reduction. Doctors pay a lot of money to go to school and get brain washed into evolution. That is why they do not care about you. It is survival of the fittest!
